Abstract

This study aims to find out how the readiness of teachers in implementing AKM classes independently. This type of research is qualitative research. Sources of data in this study are teachers and proctors. The results showed that the teacher's readiness to carry out AKM classes independently at SDN 44 Mandau as a whole was declared not ready, this was because of the inhibiting factors there was a lack of understanding of the teacher in using technology and there were no infrastructure facilities that could be used as a learning system, as well as for to the students the teacher does not give extra hours and only does it in the usual learning hours. However, this problem can be resolved because of the self and mental readiness that has been prepared by the teacher so that the implementation can run effectively

Abstract

This study aims to produce a reading module based on local wisdom for third grade elementary school students. In this study using research development methods (Research and Development) or R&D with the Four-D (4D) model. The data analysis technique used the calculation of the percentage score of the questionnaire. The questionnaire used was a product validation questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. Based on the results by the expert validators, the results were 92.5% in a very valid category. The results obtained from student responses were 97.25% in the very good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the reading module for class III students based on local wisdom developed by researchers is valid for students to study independently and get to know local wisdom around them

Abstract

The background of this research is that the learning objectives have not been achieved, which is indicated by the fact that there are still many students in class IVA who always get low scores in IPAS subjects because of factors that cause learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors that cause students' learning difficulties in the IPAS subject experienced by fourth grade students in elementary school. This type of research is qualitative research. The source of the data in this study were class IVA students at SDN 192 Pekanbaru. The amount of data from this study was 6 students, which the researcher took based on the students' lowest test scores. The time for collecting this data is in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing was carried out by researchers in the form of descriptive text regarding the factors causing students' difficulties in IPAS subjects. The results of this study are described based on the results of observations and interviews that have been analyzed by the author. The results of the data obtained are that 2 indicators of factors that cause learning difficulties are included in things that cause students difficulty in learning. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be seen that the factors causing student learning difficulties are disturbed student body health, poor student attitudes in learning, low student learning motivation, lack of teacher variation in teaching, inadequate use of learning media, infrastructure inadequate schools, unsupportive family environment and less than optimal understanding of the school curriculum.

Abstract

The progress of the era in the globalization era has significantly shifted the original local cultural values of Indonesia, our various efforts for the next generation must maintain the existing traditions, Tanjung Balai Karimun is a Malay land that still preserves the traditional game of kompang. With the Kompang game, we can see the characters in the students. Character is a value that has existed since humans were born which is permanent and can also experience changes in the humans themselves, which can be seen through their actions or behavior. Strengthening the Pancasila student profile focuses on cultivating character and abilities in everyday life that are instilled in individual students through school culture, intra-curricular and extra-curricular learning, project to strengthen Pancasila student profiles and work culture. Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' difficulties and the factors that cause students' difficulties in solving mixed fraction calculation operations questions for class V at SD Negeri 003 Bagan Batu. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Data collection techniques use tests and interviews. The data analysis technique is based on Lerner's three aspects of mathematics learning difficulties, namely concepts, skills and problem solving. The results of the research data found that students experienced concept difficulties, namely 28.64%, skill difficulties 52.12% and problem solving difficulties 60.91%. The factors that cause students to experience difficulties are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors originating from students include not knowing how to solve questions, low level of student concentration, low student motivation to learn, lack of interest in the lesson. External factors are factors that come from outside the student, such as school environmental factors and family factors

Abstract

This study aims to develop ethnomathematics-based teaching materials for introductory geometry material in grade 2 of Elementary School using the Plomp model (2013). The development stage is carried out using three stages, namely the Preliminary Research Stage, the Prototyping Stage, and the Assessment Stage. The teaching materials that have been developed are validated by three experts consisting of material experts, language experts and media experts. While practicality is seen from the questionnaire responses obtained from teachers and students. The data for this study were collected by means of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data processing in this study was carried out by means of quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this study obtained Ethnomathematics-based teaching materials for introductory geometry material were stated to be very valid with an average percentage of 93.33%, and the product was stated to be very practical with an average percentage of 94%. So it can be concluded that the Ethnomathematics-based teaching materials for introductory geometry material that have been developed are valid and practical and can be used in learning.

Abstract

A teacher needs to master basic teaching skills in carrying out learning activities. Basic teaching skills are one of the characteristics of a teacher in developing the learning activities carried out, this can be realized through action. The aim of this research is to describe and identify the knowledge of PGSD FKIP UNRI students regarding basic teaching skills. In this research, a qualitative research design was used, with a descriptive method that focused on analyzing student knowledge about basic teaching skills in the FKIP UNRI Primary School Teacher Education Study Program. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results revealed that the majority of PGSD FKIP UNRI students counted in the class of 2019 had sufficient knowledge of basic teaching skills. During their study journey, students also need to pay more attention to developing basic teaching skills, especially in terms of using learning media and evaluating learning

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the PBL learning model with the help of PowerPoint media and learning videos on unit measurement material for class III students at Kanisius Beringin Elementary School. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach using the Case Study method. The challenge in learning the concept of measurement and units at Kanisius Beringin Elementary School is that students are passive in learning, therefore they really need a more interactive approach for students to be more interested in the learning process. The solution is that the PBL approach is chosen as the main learning model, supported by the use of Powerpoint media and learning videos to increase student engagement. The results of the research show that the implementation of PBL with PowerPoint media and learning videos can increase students' interest and understanding regarding units of measurement material. Students look active and enthusiastic about working together in groups, working on LKPD correcting LKPD, and joint evaluations with the results of students already understanding the material. taught. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of validity and practicality of the Truth or Dare card media on the material of Pancasila values for grade V of SDN 105 Pekanbaru. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD). The development of the Truth or Dare card media was carried out using the 4D model consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The results of the study. showed that the validation results from the experts showed that the Truth or Dare card media on the material of Pancasila values for grade V elementary school students was very feasible to use. Based on the analysis of the expert assessment, namely media experts with an average of 91.5%, material experts 97.5% and language experts 83.3%, teacher responses 100%, student responses 91.4%. The results of the effectiveness test showed a percentage value between 5-6 with an average N gain effectiveness interpretation of 0.65 and can be said to be effective. It can be concluded that the product "Development of Truth or Dare Card Media on Pancasila Values Material for Grade V Elementary School" developed is declared valid and can be used practically as a PPKn learning media in Grade V Elementary School

Abstract

This research aims to improve reading skills in finding the main ideas of fifth grade elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN 005 Kotabaru Seberida using skimming techniques. The data collection method is carried out by observation and tests. The test was carried out once in each cycle for 22 students and teacher and student observations were carried out twice in each cycle. In cycle I the average score obtained by students was 71.81, this resulted in an increase in reading skills in finding students' main ideas by 31.77% from the initial data. In cycle II the average score obtained by students was 88.18, an increase of 61.67% from the initial data. comparison of the completeness of individual students' learning results, initially only 13.63% or 3 students passed out of 100% or 22 students in the class. After taking action in the learning process by applying the skimming technique, there was an increase, namely in cycle I there were 10 students who completed or 45.45% and 12 students or 54.54% who did not complete. Finally, in cycle II there were 20 students or 90.90% of students who completed and 2 people or 9.09% of students who did not complete. It can be concluded that by applying skimming techniques to reading skills in finding the main idea, students can increase the grades they get
