This study aims to evaluate the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum by examining the models, criteria, and approaches used in its implementation. The research background stems from the need to ensure that the PAI curriculum meets educational objectives and remains relevant to contemporary developments. The primary research question is how the current PAI curriculum's models, criteria, and approaches are applied and their impact on student learning. This qualitative research employs data collection techniques such as document analysis, observations, and interviews with teachers and education experts. The findings indicate that the implemented curriculum models are varied, but many are still based on traditional approaches that lack contextual relevance to modern needs. The assessment criteria tend to focus on cognitive aspects rather than affective and psychomotor domains. The approaches used are often less interactive and do not fully support meaningful learning. The conclusion of this study is the necessity to revise the PAI curriculum to integrate more holistic and contextual approaches, and to update assessment criteria to include more comprehensive aspects. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more effective and relevant PAI curriculum that meets the needs of students in the modern era.

This study examines the impact of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) donors on Indonesia's economic and political development through a contemporary analysis. The research investigates how international aid from MDGs donors has influenced Indonesia's economic growth and political dynamics, addressing the core question of the effectiveness and sustainability of such aid. The methodology employs a qualitative approach, utilizing case studies, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and analysis of relevant policy documents. Findings reveal that while MDGs donors significantly contributed to economic development, the effectiveness of the aid was often compromised by political factors such as governance issues and policy inconsistencies. The study concludes that the integration of international aid into national policies requires a more strategic approach to enhance both economic and political outcomes. This research highlights the necessity for adaptive strategies and improved coordination between international donors and local governments to ensure sustainable development.

This study explores the intersection of political economy and gender through an in-depth case study of women's roles in economic development in Indonesia. The research addresses the critical question of how women's participation in economic activities influences and is influenced by broader economic policies and political structures. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative data analysis with qualitative interviews to provide a comprehensive view of the subject. The findings reveal that while there have been significant strides in women's economic participation, substantial barriers remain due to entrenched patriarchal norms and inadequate policy support. The study concludes that for Indonesia to achieve sustainable economic growth and gender equality, a more inclusive approach to economic policymaking is essential. This involves not only addressing structural barriers but also fostering an environment where women's contributions are recognized and valued. The research underscores the importance of integrating gender perspectives into economic policies to enhance both economic and social outcomes.

This study explores the political economy of renewable energy in Indonesia, focusing on the opportunities and challenges inherent in transitioning to sustainable energy sources. The research addresses critical questions regarding the effectiveness of current policies, the role of political and economic stakeholders, and the barriers to large-scale implementation of renewable energy projects. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study combines quantitative data analysis of policy impacts and energy outputs with qualitative interviews of key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and environmental advocates. The findings indicate that while Indonesia possesses significant potential for renewable energy, substantial obstacles remain, including regulatory inconsistencies, insufficient infrastructure, and economic dependencies on fossil fuels. The study concludes that for Indonesia to fully realize its renewable energy potential, a cohesive policy framework that integrates economic incentives and political support is essential. This research provides actionable insights into how Indonesia can overcome these barriers and outlines strategic recommendations for fostering a more sustainable and resilient energy sector.

Humans, as stewards of the earth, are entrusted with the responsibility of preserving environmental balance through the use of reason and conscience, which collectively form international ecological wisdom. Environmental preservation becomes effortless and natural when rooted in everyday human practices, ensuring the sustainability of nature without the need for punitive measures or external enforcement. This paradigm is explicitly reflected in the nation's constitution, particularly in Article 33, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the 1945 Constitution, which encapsulates the principle of a "green constitution." In Islam, the divine law aims to maintain human harmony and prevent destruction. The primary sources of Islamic law—the Qur’an, hadith, and the evolving discipline of Fiqh Ecology—offer solutions to the global environmental crisis. This study employs a normative approach with a doctrinal focus and is descriptive-analytical in nature. Therefore, the research seeks to address the international environmental crisis from the perspective of Fiqh Ecology, presenting it as a framework to confront current ecological challenges.

The persistent development inequality in Indonesia, characterized by its archipelagic nature with approximately 17,000 islands, is a critical issue. The vast territory poses significant challenges, particularly for the outermost or remote areas that often lag in development. This research addresses the factors inhibiting regional development despite the implementation of regional autonomy. Using qualitative methods, data was collected through interviews and document analysis to identify these factors. The findings reveal that lack of road access, absence of natural resources, and inadequate human resource capacity are major impediments. Additionally, bureaucratic inefficiencies and insufficient government policies further exacerbate the problem. The study argues that the central government must provide continuous support in developing regional infrastructure and human resources. Enhancing these aspects can stimulate economic growth, foster regional independence, and reduce development disparities across the nation. Thus, a collaborative effort between central and local governments is crucial for achieving balanced national development.
