Abstract

This study explores the discourse within the field of educational technology with a specific focus on the development of technology-based models for Arabic language learning in the digital era. The purpose of this research is to formulate a relevant and adaptive development model that supports modern learning demands for Arabic learners amid the rapid advancement of digital technologies. Employing a qualitative literature-based approach, this study analyzes theories of educational technology, instructional design models, and various digital implementations in Arabic language learning. Data were analyzed through reduction, classification, and synthesis to produce coherent conceptual patterns. The findings indicate that an effective development model in the digital era must integrate interactive multimedia, flexible online platforms, personalized learning, and strong support for self-directed learning. The contribution of this study lies in presenting a conceptual model that can serve as a reference for educators, researchers, and media developers in designing more innovative and contextual Arabic learning technologies. This study highlights the strategic role of educational technology in improving the quality of Arabic language learning in the digital era.

Abstract

In pragmatic studies, language is not only understood as a series of words, but also as an action that has a specific purpose, known as a speech act. One type of speech act that is important to study is the illocutionary act because it is directly related to the intention and function of the speaker's utterance. This study aims to describe the types and functions of illocutionary acts contained in Musalsal al-Nabī Yūsuf al-Ṣiddīq al-Ḥalqah al-Khāmisah ‘Asyar or the TV series of the story of the prophet Yusuf a.s episode 15 based on John Searle's classification. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The source of research data is the speech of the characters contained in the dialogue. The data collection technique is carried out using the listening and note-taking method, while the data analysis technique uses Searle's illocutionary speech act theory. The results of the study showed that there were 54 types of illocutionary speech acts in the episode, consisting of 17 assertive speech acts, 14 directive, 4 commissive, 7 expressive, and 2 declarative. Functionally, they include assertive speech acts such as conveying information, explaining, reporting, and claiming; directive speech acts such as ordering, requesting, recommending, and inviting; commissive speech acts involving the speaker's ability, such as offering, promising, and threatening; expressive speech acts that include expressing feelings, such as saying thank you, congratulating, praising, and apologizing; and declarative speech acts related to the act of deciding or making decisions. This study is confirms that understanding the function of speech in audiovisual media can help explain how Islamic messages are conveyed in a subtle, communicative, and meaningful way to listeners or viewers.

This unique jewelry has become a fashion trend among today's society. This study aims, First, to understand the process of making jewelry accessories that are added to them with human body parts such as hair, nails, and umbilical cords. Second, to analyze the law of buying and selling jewelry accessories that are added to them with body parts of the buyer such as hair, nails, and umbilical cords from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence. This study uses a qualitative research type with library research methods and uses normative and phenomenological approaches. The results of this study: First, the process of making jewelry accessories is done manually by hand. Samples of hair, nails and umbilical cord belonging to the buyer are sent to the seller, then the seller makes the jewelry accessories by cutting the hair, nails and umbilical cord of the baby into small samples and then arranged in a jewelry pendant that has been poured with resin liquid to harden and become crystals or gemstones in the jewelry pendant. The time required is approximately 2 to 4 weeks to produce this unique jewelry. Second, the majority of scholars agree that the sale and purchase of human body parts is haram based on the evidence from the Quran and the Sunnah. Therefore, the sale and purchase of jewelry accessories that store body parts such as hair, nails, and umbilical cords is invalid or haram. The implications of this research are expected to become literature in the academic world and serve as a positive reference for the wider community, especially entrepreneurs, craftsmen, and economic actors.   Abstrak Saat ini kita menemukan beraneka ragam bentuk aksesori perhiasan yang menggunakan bagian tubuh manusia berupa rambut, kuku dan tali pusar sebagai aksesorinya. Abstract

In Indonesia, its management has not been fully aligned with Islamic legal principles, with certain long-standing local traditions still influencing practice. This study examines the management of zakat fitrah in Padaelo Village, Mattiro Bulu District, Pinrang Regency, from an Islamic legal perspective. Using qualitative field research with normative (doctrinal) and sociological approaches, the number of informants is 10 people, the study finds that the local community understands the obligation of zakat fitrah, its rightful recipients, and the parties responsible for payment. Payments are made in rice or cash equivalent to the price of rice, although most scholars consider monetary substitution impermissible. Zakat administration is handled by mosque imams and Qur’an teachers. Overall, the management is largely consistent with Islamic law, though certain aspects require improvement. This research aims to enhance public awareness and serve as a reference for further studies on zakat management in rural Indonesia.

Abstract

The growing urgency of sustainable development and the need to integrate economic, environmental, and Sharī‘ah values drive the development of Islamic Green Finance (IGF) at the regional level; however, integrative studies on leading sectors, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, and ecosystem readiness remain limited, particularly in the context of Makassar City. The study pursues three objectives: (1) identifying leading sectors suitable for IGF based on economic value, environmental sustainability, and compatibility with Islamic financial instruments; (2) assessing their alignment with maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah; and (3) evaluating the readiness of the local ecosystem while formulating an integrative, locally grounded strategic framework. A qualitative descriptive-exploratory approach was employed. The maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah assessment applied a normative framework, while ecosystem readiness was examined through thematic analysis of regulatory, institutional, capacity, and societal dimensions. The findings indicate that IGF holds strong potential as a sustainable development instrument in Makassar. Key sectors include renewable energy and waste management, sustainable agriculture and fisheries, halal tourism, and ecosystem rehabilitation. These sectors align with green economy principles and demonstrate compatibility with Islamic finance. Normatively, IGF supports the objectives of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, particularly in preserving life, wealth, the environment, and future generations. The local ecosystem shows a positive trajectory, supported by government commitment, emerging industry practices, institutional capacity, and growing public awareness. However, challenges remain in regulatory support, product innovation, institutional capacity, and financial literacy. The study proposes a four-pillar framework: regulatory strengthening, innovative financial instruments, capacity enhancement, and community engagement, implemented through multi-stakeholder collaboration to advance inclusive and sustainable regional development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perspective of maqāṣidu al-Syarī’ah on the prohibition of halal food in the STIBA Makassar Girls' Dormitory. The problems that the author raises in this study are; First, how is the concept of prohibition of halal food seen from maqāṣidu al-Syarī’ah. Second, how is the application of maqāṣidu al-Syarī’ah in the context of the appeal to prohibit halal food in the STIBA Makassar Girls' Dormitory. This study uses a type of field research using a normative and phenomenological approach. The results of the research found are as follows; First, the concept of prohibition of halal food in Islam can be seen from several factors that influence it. The most important factor is fulfilling the criteria of halal and ṭayyib. The term halal refers to the type of food that is not forbidden and is permitted to be consumed. Halal means sought, obtained, and collected not in a haram way. Meanwhile, ṭayyib refers to food that provides benefits, goodness, and well-being. The term ṭayyib in food refers to something that provides benefits to the body. Second, the application of Maqāṣidu al-Syarī'ah in the context of the appeal to prohibit halal food in the STIBA Makassar female dormitory can be seen from 5 main elements: protecting religion, soul, mind, lineage, and wealth. This appeal aims to ensure that female students consume healthy food so they can carry out religious activities properly, avoid diseases that can disrupt health, maintain the strength and intelligence of female students' thinking power, prevent negative impacts that will affect the health of reproductive organs such as menstrual disorders, and minimize the level of wastefulness.
