Abstract

Fire Extinguisher is one part of an active fire protection system that is used as a first step to extinguish a fire before the fire gets bigger. This research was conducted to assess the use of fire extinguishers in the Main Office building which is a part of the dairy factory building where activities in the Main Office building use a lot of electrical and paper-powered equipment which has a risk of fire hazard. Assessment of the use of APAR is carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods based on Permenaker Number 4 of 1980 and NFPA 10:2022. The results showed that the use of APAR reached 89% of all existing regulations.

Abstract

Increased use of the internet has resulted in innovation in control systems. The Internet of things (IOT) is an innovation where some electronic devices can be controlled remotely by utilizing the internet to obtain a more efficient control system, and save time. So a tool based on the Internet of things (IOT) is made that uses a smartphone as a controller for household appliances such as lights and fans. Where this tool uses the Arduino Uno as the brain to do the work and the WIFI module ESP-01 as a connection for the wifi signal which is connected to a smartphone that has been programmed via Arduino software, while several trials of the Internet Of Things (IOT) tool were carried out, namely distance trials to be tested from the closest distance of 1 meter and the farthest 100 meters to control household appliances.

Abstract

Tanjung Selor is one of the sub-districts located on the banks of the Kayan River, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan Province. Where green open space (RTH) on the riverbank is one of the buffers of environmental quality. Lack of concern for the environment which causes damage to nature, small examples such as throwing garbage into the river or in the green space. To obtain an overall picture and collect valid data about this research, the research method approach used is by direct field observation and field data mining related to existing conditions in the field, such as trash cans on the banks of rivers causing visitors to litter. The purpose of this study is to find out how big the application of the garbage disposal system is in the RTH on the banks of the Kayan River, Tanjung Selor.

Abstract

CV Baja Makmur 2 is a company engaged in metal casting, one of the products produced by the company is a rubber wheel product where rubber wheel products have several types including R 100, R150, R 300, R 500, R750, and R 1000. In wheel production R 300 rubber found a problem where the average level of production was around 979 pcs higher compared to the average demand of only 940 pcs, this could cause an increase in production costs incurred by the company. The purpose of this research is to minimize the production cost of R 300 rubber wheels for the next 12 months, using the Forecasting method to predict the number of requests and Aggregate Planning to minimize production costs. The results of this study indicate that the Forecasting method using ARIMA obtained the best model (0,1,1) with an MSE value of 40969.4. In the Aggregate Planning method using the Level Method the minimum production cost for the next 12 periods is around Rp 258.802.500.

Abstract

A fire alarm system is an automatic early detection system for the danger of fire by looking at the stages of changes in surrounding environmental conditions before fire or smoke triggers a fire. The way a fire alarm works is as a fire detection system used in buildings, the fire system uses conventional fire detection sensors such as smoke sensors or heat sensors. These sensors are placed in various locations within the building, depending on the need and type of hazard to be detected. Research into how fire alarms work is carried out to improve public safety. Fire alarm systems are a key component in preventing fires and providing early warning to building occupants, which can save lives. This research was carried out to reduce reaction time to fire. The sooner a warning is given, the sooner preventative or evacuation action can be taken, so that the risk of injury or death can be minimized. This research method was carried out in two stages. The first stage is direct observation and interviews with officers and staff at the research site and the second is by searching for literature such as journals related to the problem being discussed. How a fire alarm system works is very important in maintaining security and safety in various types of buildings and environments. In carrying out this analysis, we can conclude that fire alarm systems are designed to detect fires as soon as possible. This allows for precautionary measures and rapid evacuation, reducing the risk of damage and loss of life.

Abstract

YABAKII Mart is a mini market company that offers a variety of daily necessities. During the last three months there have been customers who have complained and are not satisfied with YABAKII Mart's services due to several factors, including inconsistent service, several times of service, and the completeness available. The purpose of this study is to measure customer perceptions of service quality, and provide recommendations for improvements to company services. The method used is Service Quality, and Quality Function Deployment Level 1. In the QFD stage or recommendations for improvement, interviews with the Director of YABAKII Mart. The research was conducted in November-December 2021 by distributing questionnaires to 322 YABAKII Mart customers. Based on the distribution table analysis and the percentage of customer satisfaction obtained 19.25% customers feel very dissatisfied, 23.09% customers feel dissatisfied, 33.19% customers feel quite satisfied, 16.62% customers feel dissatisfied and 7.85 % of customers are very satisfied with YABAKII Mart's services.

Abstract

A traffic accident is an unexpected and unintentional road event involving a vehicle with or without other road users which results in human casualties and property loss. Youth and productive age are one of the highest groups who become victims of traffic accidents. Therefore, safety riding is a program to prevent and reduce the number of traffic accidents. This research aims to determine the understanding of driving safety (safety riding) among automotive engineering education students at Muhammadiyah University of Puworejo. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional study design. This research was conducted from August - December 2023. The population in this research were students from the UMP automotive engineering education study program, from whom 160 research samples were then taken as respondents using random sampling. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that students' understanding of the principles of road safety is in the high category, namely 52%. This means that students in the Automotive Engineering Education study program at Muhammadiyah University, Purworejo, have a good understanding of the principles of safety riding.

Abstract

Sistem penjualan yang berjalan saat ini pada Toko Sumber Kelapa masih bersifat konvensional dan pengolahan data didalam Toko Sumber Kelapa masih manual, seperti pencatatan transaksi pembayaran dan pembuatan laporan yang masih dicatat dalam sebuah buku. Penyimpanan data dalam buku dinilai kurang efektif karena proses pencarian data yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan sering terjadi kesalahan pencatatan akibat human error. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Motode ini melakukan pendekatan secara sistematis dan unit mulai dari level kebutuhan sistem lalu menuju ke tahap analisis, desain, coding, testing/verification, dan maintenance. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Sistem informasi penjualan pakan ternak di toko sumber kelapa berbasis website. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya sistem informasi penjualan ini dapat mempermudah karyawan dalam melakukan pengolahan data dan pembuatan laporan. Selain itu pembeli dapat mengakses dan memesanan produk secara online. Wilayah untuk mempromosikan produk menjadi lebih luas karena menggunakan website.

Abstract

The Tapung–Tandun road is a provincial highway that links Tapung District and Tandun region. This road falls under the classification of a third-class collector road, spanning 45.5 kilometers in length and featuring a 7-meter-wide carriageway. As transportation demands continue to rise on the Tapung–Tandun road, the increased vehicular traffic has not been met with commensurate infrastructure, leading to substantial surface damage. The objectives of this study were to determine the types of damage present on the flexible pavement of the Tapung–Tandun road, to evaluate the extent of road damage using the Bina Marga method, and to ascertain the average daily traffic flow along the Tapung–Tandun road. The method employed to analyze road damage on the Tapung–Tandun road was the Bina Marga method. The results of the road damage survey on this road in Kampar Regency revealed various types of damage, including cracks, potholes, aggregate loss, and rutting. The analysis of road damage using the Bina Marga method yielded the following percentages of damage: 3.748% for cracking from STA 0+000 to STA 5+000, 4.573% for potholes from STA 0+000 to STA 5+000, 5.848% for aggregate loss from STA 0+000 to STA 5+000, and 2.537% for rutting from STA 0+000 to STA 5+000. The analysis using the Bina Marga method determined a road maintenance program level of 3, indicating that the Tapung–Tandun road fell under the category of road improvement programs. The survey results for the average daily traffic (ADT) volume indicated a total of 5,113 PCU/day. Among various vehicle types, sedans, jeeps, and station wagons were the most prevalent on the Tapung–Tandun road, with a total of 2,029 PCU/day, while trucks with 4 axles (1.2-2.2) or trailers were the least common, with 27 PCU/day.

Abstract

The learning process in the independent curriculum using the teaching factory learning method makes learning outcomes in vocational high schools relevant to producing students who are ready to work. The learning process is practical in order to produce products that can hone the skills possessed by each student. Learning with an approach like this will foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students. In the newest curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, the P5 project was created. In its implementation, P5 strengthens Pancasila values ​​with a project-based approach. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, literature study, documentation and evaluation. The implementation of the independent learning curriculum has been quite effective, especially when the implementation of P5 emerged.
