Abstract

The purposes of this banking industry study are 1) to analyze the effect of macroeconomic conditions that represented by gross domestic product and inflation, and the effect of loan to deposit ratio on earning assets commercial bank; 2) to analyze the effect earning assets, non performing loans, interest rate of working capital loan and operational cost on profitability of commercial bank in Indonesia; 3) to explain about the growth of banking industry and their role as financial intermediary institution after monetary and economic crisis. This study use the quantitative method by multiple regression model to analyze time series data of commercial bank in Indonesia. The results of that multiple regression model indicated gross domestic product, previously earning assets and loan to deposit ratio have positive and significant effect to commercial bank earning assets. Meanwhile, inflation has not significant effect to commercial bank earning assets. Then, earning assets, previously profit and interest rate of working capital loan have positive and significant effect to commercial bank profit, but both of non performing loans and operational cost have significant inverse relationship to commercial bank profit. This results show that banking industry more concern to retain the profitability by expand their businnes than to provide cost efficiency. According to this study, in order to retain banking industry performance are developing economic growth that condusive to increase financial intermediary of banking industry, improving cost efficiency to provide competition which lower lending interest rate, and extending financial service area to reach micro and small enterprises as a part of financial inclusion strategy.

Abstract

Analysis of Transformational Leadership Style and Communication on Employee Performance through Employee Motivation (Study at the Office of the Regional Bureau of Logistics of the Regional Logistics Agency of South Sulawesi).(Supervised by Nurdin B Dan Syobarsyah). This study aims to analyze the influence of: 1) Transformational leadership style on employee motivation, 2) Communication on employee motivation, 3) Transformational leadership style on employee performance, 4) Communication on employee performance, 5) Employee motivation on employee performance. This research uses the method path analysis, using exogenous and endogenous variables. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Transformational leadership style has a direct, positive and significant effect on employee motivation, 2) Communication has a direct, positive and significant effect on employee motivation, 3)Transformational leadership style influences [(directly and indirectly (through employee motivation)], positively and significantly to employee performance,4)Communication has an indirect effect on employee performance and is not significant, 5)Employee motivation has a direct, positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to find a description about factors related to the professional commitment of pharmacists and it's attendance on pharmacy services for communities. This research was carried out in pharmacy services at Makassar city according to the types of pharmacy with a survey method using a questionnaire. The population were pharmacists and pharmacists assistance from three types of pharmacy services such as public service pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and franchise or “BUMN” pharmacy. The sample was taken by proportionate stratified random sampling method from 279 pharmacists which was then found 72 samples proportionally. The data was then analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to find out the correlations between variables and then proceed to a t-test analysis to determine which variable is dominantly correlated to professional commitment of pharmacist in pharmacy services. The results show that motivation, competence, leadership, and attitude do simultaneously and significantly correlate to the professional commitment of pharmacists in pharmacy services. But in part, only motivation and competence were significantly correlated to the professional commitment of the pharmacist which was more dominant in motivation.

Abstract

The Bulukumba Regency Regional Secretariat Office is an organizational body or agency that provides administrative office services. This institution has a vision, primarily for the people of Bulukumba, who are historical and foremost via optimizing the potential of the region by boosting the people's economy based on democratic and religious government. The goal of this study was to evaluate and assess the effect of Openness to Experience on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) using Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable. This form of research employs quantitative methods. The Regional Secretariat Office provided a sample of 153 respondents for this study. In this study, the measurement scale is a Likert scale. The traditional assumption test, simple regression analysis, and path analysis were employed in this study with the help of IBM SPSS 21 Statistics. The study's findings indicate that openness to experience has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; openness to experience has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB); and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Job satisfaction as an intervening variable is significant to organizational citizenship behavior (OCB).

Abstract

Humans as the driving force of the company is the main factor as the existence of the company depends on the people involved behind it. The company's achievements cannot be separated from the good performance of each of its employees. Employees who have good performance will encourage the company to achieve its goals well too. Conversely, employees with poor performance will affect the stability of the company. Some of the factors that can affect performance include the level of workload given by the company to its employees and the job satisfaction felt by employees towards their work. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload and job satisfaction on employee satisfaction. The research method uses a cross-sectional study design. The research began in April-May 2023 at a bank in North Kolaka Regency. The number of samples used was 82 respondents obtained from the Slovin formula and selected using accidental sampling technique. Data collection was measured using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was filled in directly by the respondents. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and Multiple Logistic Regression test. The test results show that there is an influence of workload and job satisfaction on bank employee satisfaction in North Kolaka Regency. The company should pay attention to the suitability of the responsibilities given to employees and always meet the needs of employees so that they can produce good performance and in accordance with company goals. Abstract

Management of state finances through the APBN cannot be separated from the performance of the treasurer, both the expenditure treasurer and the receiving treasurer. In the budget cycle, especially in the stages of accountability and budget execution, one can find the role of expenditure treasurer who must be able to carry out his authority and duties using good performance. Performance is influenced by many factors, including hard skills, soft skills, and motivation. Therefore, this ability is always related to other people and himself who manage his skills. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of expenditure treasurers at the Work Unit of the Health Polytechnic. The research method uses a cross-sectional study design. The research began in March 2023 in all Work Units of the Health Polytechnic in the Directorate General of Health Workers (Dirjen Nakes) of the Ministry of Health which is spread throughout Indonesia. The number of samples used was 38 employees who were taken using the total sampling technique. Data collection was measured using a questionnaire via the Google Form link with a Likert scale which was filled in directly by the respondents. Data were analyzed using a hypothesis testing test that began with the F test (ANOVA), t-test, and analysis of the Coefficient of Determination (R2). The test results show that 3 factors influence the performance of the expenditure treasurer at the Health Polytechnic Work Unit, namely hard skills, soft skills, and motivation of 0.771 or 77.1%. So therefore, the Directorate General of Health Workers which oversees all health polytechnics in Indonesia, can improve the ability of employees by providing training that is relevant to the competencies of the APBN PK Functional Position, in this case, the expenditure treasure, hence producing better performance of themselves.

Abstract

Every year, Instagram as one of social media mainstream experiences rapid development, both for its utilization in information dissemination and information retrieval. This study aims to analyze the brand personality and Instagram social media strategy as a political promotion platform for the 2024 election participants, which will later become the basis for forming a SWOT analysis. A quantitative research approach was employed in this study.. The population in this study is the entire community of South Sulawesi who fulfill the requirements as potential voters for the 2024 general election with a total of 100 respondents who are determined using the random method or commonly called a random sample from the entire population regardless of their strata. The SPSS application was utilized for analyzing the collected data.. The results of this study showed that the influence of Instagram social media on election decisions is statistically significant, or in other words, Instagram social media has an important influence in influencing election decisions. Meanwhile, Brand Personality has an influence with a sense of pride/prestigious and familiar to candidates who are new to Instagram social media. The relationship between Instagram social media and brand personality on election decisions has an important role in influencing voter decisions. These two factors work together to influence the preferences and decisions made by individuals in elections

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT. Bank SulselBar Jeneponto Regency Branch. This research was conducted at PT Bank Sulselbar Jenepont Branch by taking information from employees, with a total sample of 43 employees. Data were analyzed using a quantitative approach and processed using the SPSS version 22 application. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has an effect on job satisfaction and organizational culture has an effect on job satisfaction, in contrast to job satisfaction which has no significant effect on performance. significant effect on employee performance. Then, based on the results of the intervention, the influence of leadership style and organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. This shows that job satisfaction can be a link between leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Mengetahui bagaimana gambaran traffic media marketing makanan dan minuman di Kota Makassar dan (2) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh frekuensi digital marketing terhadap traffic media marketing makanan dan minuman di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Makassar pada jenis usaha makanan yakni Big Bananas dan minuman yakni Yotta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dimana data yang dikumpulkan sebanyak 52 minggu. Data dikumpulan dari insight instagram dari akun Big Bananas dan Yotta. Hasil dari penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan pertama, jumlah traffic Yotta berada pada mean like sebanyak 4351.1154 dan commentnya sebanyak 342.7308. sedangkan mean dari Big Bananas hanya berada pada like 976.3654 dan comment hanya berada pada nilai 110.0769. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh frekuensi digital marketing terhadap traffic media marketing, dimana dari data menunjukkan semakin tinggi frekuensi digital marketing maka akan semakan tinggi pula traffic yang diterima.

Abstract

The Influence of Service Quality on Employee Performance at PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar, supervised by Prof. Dr. H. Muh. Asdar, SE., M.Si. and Dr. Muhammad Ismail, SE., M.Si The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of service quality on employee performance at PT Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. The object of research is PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor Makassar. The method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear analysis. The data collection technique in this study is a questionnaire with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that the better the quality of the company's service to customers, the higher the employee's performance.
