Gunung Djati Conference Series merupakan penyedia layanan publikasi dan konferensi berbagai bidang keilmuan yang diterbitkan oleh UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian. Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel, kemudian penerbit menyerahkan semua template ke pelaksana konferensi keilmuan. Penerbitan artikel ini dilakukan sesuai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh penyelenggara konferensi.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang cepat telah mengakibatkan perubahan yang signifikan dalam masyarakat, termasuk dalam kebijakan, komunikasi, birokrasi, dan lembaga-lembaga, termasuk lembaga pendidikan. Lembaga pendidikan harus dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi agar tetap relevan. Salah satu bentuk implementasi dari perkembangan teknologi ini adalah Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan, yang sering disebut sebagai EMIS. EMIS adalah sebuah solusi teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan mengelola data penting dalam lembaga pendidikan melalui komputer dan jaringan internet. EMIS menggabungkan sumber daya manusia dengan teknologi komputer untuk menyimpan, mengambil, berkomunikasi, dan menggunakan data dengan efektif dan efisien dalam operasi manajemen sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi EMIS dalam mengelola data Lembaga di MTs Sains Qurani Azzakiyyah cinunuk kabupaten Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EMIS membantu meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, serta dapat menjadi alat penting dalam merancang kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih efektif. Kesimpulannya, dengan adanya EMIS, lembaga pendidikan dapat mengoptimalkan sumber daya mereka, meningkatkan proses pengajaran, dan meningkatkan pemahaman tentang tantangan dan peluang dalam sistem pendidikan. Semua ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of training and assistance in writing scientific articles for students across Islamic Religious College throughout Indonesia. This research uses Participatory Action Research combined with the Asset Based Community Development method. The results and discussion of this research show that the implementation of training and mentoring resulted in successful scientific publications for students, even though various obstacles were encountered. First, pre-implementation aspects, such as the lack of motivation for some participants, lack of focus in understanding the writing module, and busy course assignments. Second, aspects of writing practice, such as difficulties in determining research topics, writing research backgrounds, writing problem formulations, writing previous research results, and writing frameworks. Third, post-activity aspects that require the formulation of a scientific publication strategy. This research concludes that the performance of training and assistance in writing scientific articles for students across Islamic Religious College throughout Indonesia with the various obstacles they face is considered quite adequate. This research recommends that administrators of Islamic Religious College prepare plans for effective training and mentoring models as a comprehensive system from upstream to downstream that can ensure the success of scientific publications for students of Islamic Religious College throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the effectiveness of scientific article writing exercises among students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The formal object of this research is training and mentoring. The material object is writing scientific articles. The scope of this research is undergraduate students. Meanwhile, the context is the Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah, Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar State Islamic University. The results of the research and discussion showed that 20 article manuscripts were achieved from a total of 45 student participants, where this success was supported by policy, student motivation, availability of modules, implementation of reviews and feedback, and excitement. This research concluded that training and mentoring were effective at the pre-, implementation and post-activity stages.

Abstract

This research aims to offer the idea of a continuum academic writing project. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying the design thinking method. The results of the research and discussion show that the continuum academic writing project is a series of student scientific publication activities starting from writing articles continuously without being limited to semesters. This research concludes that the continuum academic writing project has the potential to be a solution to the problem of publishing student scientific articles which can support the higher education scientific publication industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims at analysing teaching strategies used by the teacher in reading comprehension class and investigating the problems the teacher encounter in their own reading comprehension class. The participants involved in this research are an English teacher and 8th grade students of SMPIT Asmaul Husna, a private school located in the Tanjungsari Sumedang. A descriptive qualitative study was used as a research design here. The data were obtained from classroom observation, interview with the teacher, and document analysis. The findings revealed that the teacher employed three strategies in teaching reading comprehension, namely scaffolding, question answer relationship, and think-aloud. Additionally, the study identified three problems overcome by the teacher in teaching reading comprehension, including difficulty in finding out the appropriate materials, the limited knowledge of effective instructional strategies, and difficulty in transferring personal reading comprehension skills to teaching practice. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the understanding of effective reading comprehension instruction and provides valuable insights for teacher training and professional development programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate students’ listening problems in an English as a Foreign Langauge (EFL) learning. It is conducted in one of private Junior High School in Purwakarta. This research is categorized as qualitative research by conducting a semi structured interview as the instruments of this research. The interview guideline was adopted from the categorization of listening problems from of Trismasari, et al., (2016). 8 students were selected as particapant of this reserch using purposive sampling technique and adjusted to the criteria of students with low level of listening skills. In reason that this type of students is considered as students who experienced high level of listening difficulties. Based on the data found, the researcher concluded that students encounter various kinds of listening problems in learning comprehension such as lack of listening ability, limited english vocabulary, poor knowledge of grammar, listening strategies, linguistic knowledge, familiarity with the topic, rate of speech, the inability to concentrate, different accent and dialect, and environmental variables. By knowing the problem encountered by students in listening comprehension, it is hoped that this research can provide useful insights into learners‘ performance on the listening comprehension test and its relation to listening problems. Besides, the finding of this research can also be used by the teacher on how to make enjoyable listening activities in language classroom.

Abstract

Pemerintah berencana akan menghapus subsidi pupuk N-Urea secara bertahap. Sebagai gantinya, PT. Pupuk Indonesia merilis pupuk N-Nitralite yang mengandung Nitrogen (N) sebesar 25%, Ca 9% dan S 6% dan berbentuk granul sehingga memiliki efisiensi yang lebih tinggi dibanding pupuk Urea. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menyusun rekomendasi pemupukan N-Nitralite pada tanaman padi sawah dataran menengah di Kabupaten Cianjur, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2020 sampai dengan November 2020 di Desa Cikaroya, Kecamatan Warungkondang, Kabupaten Cianjur. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 8 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan uji lanjutan Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk N-Nitralite lebih efektif untuk tanaman padi sawah apabila rekomendasi penggunaannya dikombinasikan dengan pupuk NPK (15-15-15) dengan dosis 180 kg Nitralite/ha + 300 kg NPK/ha yang mampu menghasilkan produksi padi 8,41 ton/ha GKP dengan nilai RAE 127% dan nilai IBCR 5,06.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan gulma Asystasia gangetica sebagai cover crop di kebun kelapa sawit menghasilkan mengharuskan agar A. gangetica tidak memiliki lagi sifat Noxius weed, yaitu mudah berkembangbiak melalui pelepasan biji dari polong yang dapat terlempar sejauh 6 m. Hal Ini dapat dicapai melalui pemangkasan tajuk dan pembenaman pangkasannya. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pemangkasan dan pembenaman pangkasan terhadap pertumbuhan A. gangetica. Lima perlakuan pemangkasan dan pembenaman diterapkan pada A. gangetica yang didesain dalam rancangan acak kelompok non-faktorial dengaan tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah cabang tidak dipengaruhi oleh pemangkasan dan pembenaman. Sebaliknya, jumlah daun, ruas, bunga, dan polong A. gangetica dipengaruhi oleh pemangkasan dan pembenaman. Perlakuan pemangkasan dan pembenaman secara nyata mengurangi jumlah bunga dan polong A. gangetica dibandingkan tanpa perlakuan pemangkasan. Dalam penelitian ini tidak ditemukan perbedaan secara nyata pengaruh pemangkasan dan pembenaman terhadap bobot kering akar dan tajuk A. gangetica. Dari penelitian ini didapat bahwa pemangkasan A. gangetica pada 60 hari setelah tanam dan tanpa dibenam maupun dibenam dapat mengurangi jumlah bunga dan polong A. gangetica.

Abstract

Tanaman bidara Arab (Ziziphus mauritiana) berasal dari daerah beriklim panas dan kering di wilayah Asia Tengah atau kawasan Timur Tengah, namun masih mampu beradaptasi tumbuh di wilayah tropis maupun subtropis. Ketika tanaman Bidara Arab yang menyukai iklim gurun ini ditumbuhkan pada wilayah tropika basah, khususnya kota Bandung, Provinsi Jawa Barat, yaitu, pada ketinggian tempat 682 MDPL, suhu harian tahunan 18-29 oC, curah hujan 1.500-4.000 mm.th-1 dengan kelembaban tanah relatif tinggi, ternyata diperoleh karakteristik morfologi dari organ daun, ranting, batang adalah normal, dan diperoleh buah berdiameter kurang dari 2 cm. Simplisia buah muda dan buah matang tanaman Bidara Arab yang dibudidayakan pada lahan tropika basah tersebut telah dianalisis kandungan fitokimia didalamnya dengan metode maserasi dan teridentifikasi aneka fitokimia melalui alat kromatografi GCMS merk Shimadzu tipe 2010 QP. Hasil analisis kromatogram pada buah muda bidara Arab didominasi oleh derivat senyawa heksadekana , asam palmitat, dan karbinol, sedangkan pada buah Bidara Arab matang didominasi oleh derivat senyawa asam klorogenat, asam malat, dan siklononasiloksan. Perbedaan jenis fitokimia yang teridentifikasi selama penelitian dengan jenis fitokimia yang diperoleh peneliti sebelumnya pada wilayah iklim yang berbeda, merupakan tujuan akhir penelitian ini yaitu, untuk memperoleh informasi efek adaptasi tumbuh tanaman bidara Arab pada lahan tropika basah kota Bandung.

Abstract

Fermentasi kombucha bunga telang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antibakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memformulasi sediaan sabun cuci tangan cair probiotik fermentasi kombucha bunga telang dan menguji aktivitas antibakteri sabun cuci tangan probiotik fermentasi kombucha bunga telang terhadap bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Bunga telang difermentasi dengan scoby selama 1 bulan. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Pseudomonas aeruginosa dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram. Pengujian Rata-rata diameter zona hambat dari masing-masing sabun diolah menggunakan ANOVA satu jalur dan uji lanjut analisis pos hoc. Hasil ANOVA satu jalur telah terbukti bahwa masing-masing sediaan sabun cuci tangan kombucha bunga telang berpotensi dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Pseudomonasa aeruginosa dengan nilai F tabel lebih kecil daripada F hitung yang ditetapkan yaitu 0,05 sehingga dapat dilanjutkan melalui analisis pos hoc dimana sabun cuci tangan kombucha bunga telang pada konsentrasi 40% berbeda nyata dengan konsentrasi 20% dan 30% sebagai antibakteri P. aeruginosa. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa larutan fermentasi kombucha bunga telang dapat dibuat formulasi dan sediaan sabun cuci tangan probiotik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri P. aeruginosa. Nilai rata-rata zona hambat pada masing-masing sabun adalah 2,83 mm (20%), 5,11 mm (30%), dan 8,66 mm (40%).
