Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang pendidikan karakter berbasis panca jiwa di pondok pesantren Al-Ihsan Baleendah Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini, menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter dapat ditanamkan melalui internalisasi program kepesantrenan modern yang tersirat di dalam panca jiwa. Program panca jiwa pesantren modern memberikan implikasi yang tinggi terhadap pembentukan karakter santri. Hal ini ditandai meningkatnya kedisiplinan, kepatuhan, kemandirian dan tanggung jawab santri di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembelajaran matematika kontekstual, pemahaman konsep matematika, dan strategi pembelajaran matematika pada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan jenis metode systematic literature review atau studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran matematika kontekstual merupakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan memaknai dengan menghubungkan materi matematika pada kehidupan nyata sehari-hari yang diamati dan dirasakan oleh siswa. Pemahaman konsep matematika yaitu kompetensi dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dimiliki siswa dalam pembelajaran. Pemahaman konsep matematika memiliki prinsip konstruktivisme, bertanya, menemukan, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, refleksi, dan penilaian sebenarnya. Pembelajaran matematika kontekstual dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran dan berhubungan untuk pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Strategi pembelajaran kontekstual yang digunakan untuk pemahaman konsep matematika yaitu dengan menerapkan strategi REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring) dan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip yang ada pada pembelajaran kontekstual serta mengarah pada indikator pemahaman konsep matematika. Strategi pembelajaran matematika kontekstual bisa menjadi cara yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam proses pembelajaran untuk pemahaman konsep matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, peningkatan hasil belajar,siswa, dan respon siswa setelah menggunakan simulasi virtual berbasis web physics classroom. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain pre-experimental design jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dari kelas X MIPA 2 MAN 1 Majalengka yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan antara lain lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan simulasi virtual berbasis web physics classroom, tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal dengan indikator soal berdasarkan aspek kognitif C1 sampai C4, dan angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data melalui analisis lembar observasi, N-Gain, uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menggunakan SPSS, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase rata-rata aktivitas guru sebesar 90% dengan interpretasi sangat baik dan peserta didik sebesar 82% dengan interpretasi baik. Peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan nilai pretest, posttest, dan N-Gain secara keseluruhan diperoleh rata-rata nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,62 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Maka, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dalam hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil,belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan momentum, impuls,,dan tumbukan di,kelas,X MIPA 2 MAN 1 Majalengka setelah menggunakan simulasi virtual berbasis web physics classroom. Kemudian terdapat respon positif siswa setelah menggunakan media simulasi virtual physics classroom dengan rata-rata persentase respon siswa sebesar 82,4% dengan kategori sangat setuju terhadap setiap pernyataan yang terdapat pada angket respon siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Peran Teknologi dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Matematika yang Optimal”, ini mengangkar dari sebuah masalah pada masa pandemic covid-19 yang terjadi sehingga proses pembelajaran dilakasanakan secara online (e-learning). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh teknologi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar dan mengajar pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian ini meggunakan penelitian pustaka (library research) yaitu pengumpulan data, membaca dan mengolah bahan pustaka yang bersumber pada buku, jurnal, dan sumber-sumber lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the condition of the water quality of the Cikeruh River in terms of BOD, COD, TSS, and pH parameters, analyze the effect of liquid waste from the Homemade Tofu Industry in Ds. Mekarsari on the water quality of the Cikeruh River in terms of BOD, COD, TSS, and pH parameters, to determine the effectiveness of adsorption with the principle of Appropriate Technology (TTG) in reducing pollutant levels of liquid waste from the Homemade Tofu Industry, Ds. Mekarsari. The sampling technique used is the grab sample. The results of the analysis show that the condition of the water quality of the Cikeruh River is based on the quality standard of PP RI No. 22 of 2021 for river water points before being polluted with liquid waste from the Tofu Industry in accordance with quality standards, while after being polluted with liquid waste from the Tofu Industry the levels of COD and TSS exceed the quality standards. The results show the liquid waste from the Tofu Industry with a pH parameter of 4.35, a COD level of 1128 mg/L, and a TSS level of 595 mg/L. This level exceeds the specified quality standard, so it can pollute the Cikeruh river. Therefore, it is necessary to treat it first before the wastewater is discharged into the river. The results of the analysis show that liquid waste from one of the Tofu Industries in Mekarsari Village which has been tested with the adsorption method based on the principle of Appropriate Technology filter combination of rice husk ash, coconut shell charcoal, pumice stone, and red brick sand is able to reduce the levels of pollutant parameters from the COD parameters and This TSS is proven by the average percentage of effectiveness obtained after treatment for COD levels of 51.42%, TSS levels of 65.71%, while for pH neutralization it is 7.5%.

Abstract

Air pollution is the entry or inclusion of energy substances from other components into the air by human activities, so that air quality drops to a certain level which causes ambient air to not fulfill its function. This study aims to determine the concentration level of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) in Bandung Regency. Sample measurements were carried out using a spectrophotometer based on the reference to SNI 19-719-2017 regarding the sulfur dioxide (SO2) level test using the pararosanilin method. Measurements were carried out in the range of 10.00-13.00. The concentration of sulfur dioxide in Bandung Regency is 100-200 mg/Nm3 with a threshold of 900 mg/Nm3 so it is still classified as good. This situation is caused by the presence of green trees in the district of Bandung and its surroundings. The conclusion of this study is that the concentration of SO2 at several points in Bandung Regency still meets the requirements (The requirements of ambient air quality standard of PP Number (No). 22 of 2021), so it is recommended for the government and the community to make efforts/activities to maintain healthy air quality in Bandung Regency.

Abstract

The ceramic industry produces iron oxide waste which can be used as a photocatalyst material to degrade methylene blue (MB) dye. Iron oxide waste mostly contains Fe2O3. In this study, Fe3O4 was synthesized from ceramic tile industrial waste with the addition of Na-Citra to reduce Fe2O3 to Fe3O4 using the solid state method. Fe3O4 (magnetite) material improved its photocatalytic performance by adding Mg2+ and Co2+ dopants to form MgxCo1-xFe3O4 (MCM) with a fraction x = 0.03; 0.05 and 0.07 are written as MCM-1, MCM-2, and MCM-3 by the solid state method. XRD results show that Fe3O4, MCM-1, MCM-2, MCM-3 have spinel cubic shape which is compatible with Fe3O4 phase and still contains Fe2O3 impurities. The crystal sizes obtained for Fe3O4, MCM-1, MCM-2, MCM-3 were 39.61; 34.42; 41.28; 32.11 nm. The smaller the crystal size, the better the photocatalyst degradation. SEM results showed that Fe3O4, MCM-1, MCM-2, and MCM-3 samples had a spherical cubic morphology and agglomeration occurred with particle sizes ranging from 126.05 to 149.50 nm. The SEM results show that the more Mg2+ added, the smaller the agglomeration that occurs. The results of UV-DRS show that the addition of Mg2+ dopants can reduce the band gap from 2.02 to 1.95 eV. With the results obtained, the material that has been successfully synthesized can be used as a photocatalyst material.

Abstract

Methylene blue is included in B3 Waste which is toxic, mutagenic and carcinogenic. In the form of liquid waste, this substance is a source of water pollution. To overcome this pollution, an efficient alternative method is photocatalysis. Compounds that have the potential as photocatalysts and are in great demand lately are ZnO semiconductor compounds. Its nature as a photocatalyst is able to reduce the intensity of dye waste in the aquatic environment. Behind its ability to reduce the intensity of dyestuffs, ZnO itself has a large band gap value and diamagnetic properties which make it one of the drawbacks. To improve the magnetic properties and reduce the value of the existing band gap, it is necessary to composit with magnetic compounds such as NiFe2O4. Therefore, ZnO and NiFe2O4 compounds can be synthesized into ZnO/NiFe2O4 nanocomposites which have higher potential as photocatalysts that work in visible light and UV light and their magnetic properties can facilitate the separation process. ZnO was synthesized by precipitation method while NiFe2O4 was synthesized by coprecipitation method, while ZnO/NiFe2O4 nanocomposite was synthesized from battery waste as a source of Zn and Fe. The solid state method was used in the synthesis of ZnO/NiFe2O4 with three mole variations of ZnO:NiFe2O4 in a ratio of 1:2, 1:1, and 2:1 which were calcined at a temperature of 800 . XRD characterization results showed a fierce phase on ZnO and tetravorite on NiFe2O4 with hexagonal and cubic crystal forms with crystal sizes ranging from 30-32 nm. The SEM results showed a uniformity of shape with a polydispersity value of less than 0.5 with a nanospheric morphology. ZnO/NiFe2O4 nanocomposite formed from battery waste was applied to reduce the intensity of methylene blue dye. The best conditions were found in ZnO/NiFe2O4 2:1 with a photocatalyst mass of 50 mg for 180 minutes with a concentration of 10 ppm methylene blue and a pH of 11.

Abstract

Mangrove crab is one of the marine animals that is quite economically valuable that lives in a mangrove environment (mangrove forest). Mangrove crabs are also consumed by the community, especially people in coastal areas. Crab shells containing the chemical compounds chitin and chitosan are waste that is easily available and available in large quantities, which so far has not been optimally utilized. Chitosan isolated from crab shells can be used as heavy metal adsorbents. The aim of this research was to determine the modification and characterization of chitosan from mangrove crab shell waste as Pb and Cd metal adsorbents. The research methods included of deproteination with 1 M NaOH, deminnarization with 1 N HCl, decolorization with NaOCl. Modification of chitosan in the deacetylation process using NaOH 60% was varied. The characterization of chitosan were moisture, solubility, ninhydrin test, and deacetylation degree using FTIR. Determination of the adsorption capacity of crystalline to metall using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS). Samples were obtained from Evu Village, Southeast of Maluku. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be seen that the appropriate water content at 3x 1 hours is 7,63%, completely dissolves in 2% acetic acid, positive purple ninhydrin test , and a good degree of deacetylation at 3x 1 hour modification.

Abstract

Kelakai herb (Stenochlaena palustris) is a native fern from Borneo that grows wild on peatlands. This plant has been widely developed and is thought to have potential as an alternative to anticancer drugs. . The purpose of this study was to obtain chemical compounds from the antifungal herb that have the potential as anticancer with parameters in the form of Gibbs free energy data and residue interactions with protein and to determine the prediction of the toxicity of ten chemical compounds derived from the gibbon herb. This research method includes preparation of ligands and target protein, as well as docking of ten test compounds with target protein Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase with swissdock, visualization of docking results using the USCF Chimera program and toxicity analysis using pkCSM and Protox online tool
