Abstract

This research aims to explore the company’s internal strengths and weaknesses, identify external opportunities and threats, and propose business strategies to improve the company’s condition in fulfilling SPM and achieve on-schedule toll tariff adjustment. Using a qualitative research method, this research combines primary data from in-depth interviews with the key internal stakeholders and secondary data from company’s documents including annual report, past internal studies, financial analysis report, company’s minutes of meeting, and relevant regulatory document. The research employs market analysis and several frameworks including PESTLE, The Five Forces Model, Competitor Analysis for external analysis, and VRIO and Value Chain for internal analysis. The result shows that the company possesses several internal strengths such as strong operational management capabilities, well established governance structure, strategic toll road asset, competent human resources, good initiative in innovation practices, and good reputation. However, these are outweighed by weaknesses including weak financial position reflected in its high debt to equity ratio and negative return on asset, heavy reliance on outsourced operations, lacks structured approach to innovation and has not yet developed the tools or system needed to fully optimize traffic. These weaknesses directly contribute to the SPM delays and inability to adjust tariff on time. Externally, the company faces political and legal uncertainty in toll road sector, macroeconomic slowdown leads to declining purchasing power, sensitive to price users and significant deviation between actual traffic and projection in concession agreements, even though opportunities exist through government development priorities in Gerbangkertosusila region

Abstract

The menstrual cycle is the time between the beginning of menstruation in the previous period and the onset of the next period. One of the factors that affect the menstrual cycle is nutritional intake and nutritional status. This study aims to determine the importance of nutritional intake and nutritional status on the menstrual cycle in adolescents. This article uses a selection method based on the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) diagram, in accordance with the inclusion criteria and predetermined keywords, and identified 10 articles to be analyzed. Based on the 10 articles analyzed, it was found that most show the importance of nutritional intake and nutritional status in affecting the regularity of the menstrual cycle. Several articles also demonstrate a relationship between both micro and macro nutritional intake and nutritional status on the menstrual cycle in adolescent girls. Nutritional intake and nutritional status play an important role in the regularity of adolescent menstrual cycles. These findings have important implications for public health policy, suggesting the need for comprehensive nutritional education programs targeting adolescent girls, healthcare providers, and educators. The evidence supports the development of school-based nutrition interventions and clinical guidelines for managing menstrual irregularities through nutritional approaches. Moreover, there is a clear relationship between nutritional intake and nutritional status and the menstrual cycle.

Abstract

Tax regulations often provide only guidance and not concrete steps, leaving significant room for interpretation by the relevant parties themselves. The DGT and taxpayers frequently disagree when differences arise in the interpretation of tax regulations applied in business processes, often resulting in disputes. In dealing with tax disputes, the role of the consultant as a client advisor emerges as the dominant one, because when facing a tax dispute, the tax consultant acts as an extension of the taxpayer, authorized to help the taxpayer defend their position as someone who has fulfilled their tax obligations appropriately. The purpose of this research is to interpret the role of tax consultants as client companions in dealing with tax disputes, by referring to the code of ethics of tax consultants and their practical experiences. This research employs a phenomenological approach within the framework of qualitative research. In this study, data sources in the form of literature were obtained through digital libraries/electronic libraries, individual full-text journal databases, official websites, and online repositories. The results of this research show that the role of tax consultants as client advisors in addressing tax disputes is very complex and challenging. Tax consultants are not only required to possess strong technical competence in the field of taxation, but must also be able to balance client expectations with moral obligations and professional ethics, as stipulated in the IKPI Code of Ethics.

Abstract

This research examines differences in financial performance resulting from the establishment of Indonesia's State-Owned Holding (SOH) by comparing the periods before and after its formation. While many countries have adopted centralized SOH models, the effect on State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) performance under SOH remains unclear. This case study employs a mixed-method approach, incorporating secondary data analysis of quarterly financial reports from six holding members from 2018-2023, alongside primary data obtained from in-depth interviews with five CFOs in the State-Owned Member Holding and relevant government stakeholders. Descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test were used to identify differences in financial performance before and after the establishment of the holding. In parallel, qualitative analysis was conducted to explore the underlying factors influencing financial outcomes. The research findings reveal that the formation of the holding has not uniformly improved the financial performance of all members in pre- and post-holding financial metrics in profitability indicators (ROE, ROA), liquidity (Quick Ratio), and leverage (DER). Interview results suggest that the timing of the holding's formation—during the COVID-19 pandemic—and the varying initial financial conditions of member entities, due to corporate actions prior to integration, played significant roles. Additionally, some members faced constraints in accessing bank facilities and were burdened with government assignments for economic and social objectives. Results are consistent with prior studies, which highlight that the performance of SOEs under SOH may deteriorate when government intervention persists, particularly when driven by non-commercial, social objectives.

Abstract

Despite digital advertising becoming more important in providing business advantage, many sellers in Indonesia remain hesitant to adopt e-commerce advertising tools. This study investigates the main barriers that prevent sellers from using advertising features on a major Indonesian marketplace. A qualitative approach was applied through semi-structured interviews with ten sellers, including current users, former users, and non-users. This study offers a novel contribution by exploring seller resistance from an experience-based perspective, which has not been widely explored in existing adoption research. The study uses a framework analysis method to identify eight main barriers including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value, habit, personal innovativeness, and digital advertising literacy. While most sellers found the platform easy to use, concerns about performance outcomes, cost justification, and lack of advanced knowledge limited adoption. Social factors and marketing preferences also influenced seller decisions. To strengthen the findings, this study uses a triangulation method by comparing the qualitative results with a previous quantitative study. This approach provides a clearer view of seller adoption behavior by confirming key factors and highlighting both aligned and differing insights. These findings provide a clearer understanding of why some sellers resist using e-commerce advertising and emphasize the need to address barriers and concerns to encourage wider tools adoption.

Abstract

This study addresses the impact of remote work on employee productivity within a tech company setting specializing in software development and IT Condulting called PT. HLM. PT. HLM has adopted and implemented remote work setting for the past five years since 2020. The study will focusing on three key independent variables: Work Autonomy, Collaboration Quality, and Work Environment. The research is motivated by the growing adoption of remote work models and the need to understand factors that influence productivity in such settings. The background highlights challenges such as maintaining effective communication, managing flexible work hours, and ensuring conducive home workspaces. The subject of this study is PT. HLM, a technology company at Indonesia. As the subject of this study, PT. HLM has implemented a full Remote work setup for the last 5-6 years, aiming to maintain employee productivit. However, based on group discussion between Project Managers and Leaders in PT. HLM with researchers there are several obstacles in the beginning. Grounded in Self-Determination Theory, Media Richness Theory and Environmental Psychology. Self-Determination theory emphasizes that autonomy enhances motivation and competence, which are crucial for productivity. Media richness theory suggests that richer communication media are more effective for collaboration than lean media like text based, environmental psychology highlights the importance of structured and distraction free work environment for maintaining productivity. The study uses approach of quantitave survey data from 50 employees. The survey measures work autonomy, collaboration quality, and structured work environment and remote work productivity using likerts-scale questions.

Abstract

Modern warehouse operations face significant challenges with manual inventory management processes, resulting in accuracy rates as low as 65% and substantial operational inefficiencies that directly impact customer satisfaction and profitability. This study presents the design and implementation of an innovative Inventory Information System Model for Smart Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) based on Artificial Intelligence technology, specifically developed to address these critical inventory management deficiencies. The research objectives focus on developing an automated system that minimizes human errors, provides real-time data analytics, and enhances overall operational efficiency through intelligent decision-making capabilities. The methodology integrates the structured Waterfall development approach with user-centered Design Thinking principles, ensuring both systematic development and optimal user experience. The AI-powered system incorporates machine learning algorithms for demand forecasting, computer vision for automated stock counting, natural language processing through integrated chatbots for enhanced user interaction, and predictive analytics for optimized inventory levels. Implementation and testing within the Geoff Max Group demonstrated significant improvements, achieving 95% inventory accuracy compared to the previous 70% manual accuracy rate, reducing stock-out incidents by 60%, and decreasing inventory carrying costs by 25%. The system successfully processes real-time data from multiple warehouse locations, providing managers with comprehensive dashboards and automated alerts for critical inventory thresholds. The implications of this research extend beyond operational improvements, offering a scalable solution for modern supply chain management that can be adapted across various industries. This integrated approach represents a significant advancement in warehouse automation, demonstrating how AI-driven systems can transform traditional inventory management practices while providing economic benefits.

Abstract

In today’s globalized economy, multinational corporations like PT. STI face significant challenges in enabling seamless knowledge sharing across culturally and linguistically diverse teams. This study proposes an Artificial Intelligence-based Knowledge Management (KM) system to address language and cultural barriers causing operational inefficiencies such as project delays and reduced productivity at PT. STI. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research applies the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) KM Framework to evaluate the company’s KM maturity, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to prioritize AI features, and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess employee perceptions of the system's usefulness and ease of use. Quantitative data from APO KM and AHP surveys were complemented by qualitative insights from semi-structured interviews with key personnel. The APO KM assessment shows PT. STI at the "Expansion" KM maturity level with a score of 135.14, highlighting weaknesses in knowledge processes, technology, and outcomes. AHP analysis identifies Real-Time Translation (RT) as the top feature (44%), followed by Automated Tagging/Categorization (AT) and Contextual Q&A/Summarization (CQ). Employee interviews corroborate these findings, demonstrating strong willingness to adopt the system due to its potential to overcome cross-lingual communication barriers and improve knowledge accessibility. The proposed AI-based KM system provides PT. STI with a framework to reduce language barriers, minimize knowledge silos, and boost operational efficiency. It is expected to shorten project timelines, lower costs, and increase client satisfaction, offering valuable insights for multinational corporations facing similar challenges.

Abstract

This study investigates how different types of affiliate content and the source credibility of creators influence consumer trust and purchase intention on TikTok Shop, using Stella air freshener as a case product. Grounded in the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and Source Credibility Theory (SCT), the study examines how content types (tutorial, testimonial, promotional) and source credibility affect perceived trust, which in turn mediates their effect on purchase intention. A quantitative method was employed, collecting responses from 186 TikTok users exposed to air freshener affiliate content. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results indicate that tutorial and testimonial formats significantly enhance perceived trust and indirectly influence purchase intention, while promotional content does not. Source credibility also significantly influences trust but has only a marginal direct effect on purchase. The study concludes that trust-centered content is essential in affiliate strategies for sensory products and provides practical guidance for brands on content planning and creator briefing.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem that although One Dentsu has been strategically adopted, in Indonesia this initiative has not been fully internalized in the daily working process. One of the main challenges is the absence of a systematic Knowledge Co-Creation (KCC) mechanism and a formal organizational governance structure that supports cross-functional collaboration. This research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five respondents who are key stakeholders of strategic service units in Dentsu Indonesia, specifically those with a strategic role in One Dentsu. This research uses Knowledge Co-Creation (KCC) theory as the main framework, which includes four main phases: knowledge donating, knowledge collecting, knowledge replication, and network citizenship. Aside from that, Knowledge Governance theory is also used to evaluate how far the organizational structure supports or hinders the KCC process, as well as to identify governance strategies currently in place. The results of the research show that the KCC process in Dentsu Indonesia takes place informally and in an unstandardized manner. Every individual has a different understanding of the meaning of One Dentsu, and there is no formal training or guidance that explains how to implement it comprehensively and in detail. In practice, the implementation of cross-functional collaboration occurs spontaneously and often depends on personal initiatives rather than organizational systems.
