Abstract

In the practice of Islamic microfinance, financing mitigation is one of the important instruments that has high risk because it is based on trust and profit sharing. The absence of physical security and dependence on the behavior of business partners makes risk management a crucial aspect that must be studied in depth. This study aims to analyze financing risks at KSPPS Artha Bahana Syariah Secang Branch, Magelang. Using a purely qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design, this study involved managers, financing managers, risk analysts, and cooperative members as key informants. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation, and analysis of internal documents of the institution. Data were analyzed through a thematic approach based on the Miles & Huberman and Braun & Clarke frameworks, to identify risk patterns and mitigation practices applied. The results of the study show that risk mitigation at KSPPS Artha Bahana Syariah Secang Branch is not only technical through SOPs and financing analysis, but also involves social and spiritual approaches. Officers interpret risk as a mandate, so they are cautious while still upholding the values of justice and empathy. Flexibility between procedures and kinship is the key to success. These findings demonstrate the importance of integration between the formal system and sharia values. Ethical training and spiritual strengthening are recommended to support the sustainability of value-based sharia cooperatives.

Abstract

The construction industry in Indonesia makes a significant contribution to the national economy, occupying the fourth position with a contribution of 10.06% according to BPS (2024). More than 77% of construction business entities are classified as small contractors, which leads to a high level of competition in this sector. To survive, small contractors need to implement strategies to increase Competitiveness through efficiency, innovation, and quality improvement. This study aims to identify effective strategies in increasing the competitiveness of small contractors in building construction projects. The results showed that the Competition Level variable (X1) did not have a significant direct influence on Competitiveness (Y), with a T-statistic of 0.509 and a P-value of 0.611. In contrast, Price Quotation (X2) and Human Resources (Z) were shown to have a significant direct influence, with T-stats of 2,917 and 4,710 and P-values of 0.004 and 0.000, respectively. However, in the moderation test, Human Resources was unable to strengthen the relationship between the level of competition and the price offer to competitiveness because the resulting T-statistical value was smaller than the T-table and the P-value was above 0.05, so it can be concluded that although HR is directly important, its role as a moderator is not significant in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Kalman Filter algorithm in an adaptive zoom camera system to improve image quality in low-light conditions. The main problem faced by conventional cameras is the instability of light intensity, which affects image sharpness and contrast. To that end, experiments were conducted using three different Android devices, namely Infinix Hot Play 11, Oppo Reno 6, and Oppo Reno 11, with shooting distances of 30 cm and 60 cm, respectively. Each device was tested using a Kalman Filter-based camera application and compared with actual measurements using a lux meter. The results of the study show that the Kalman Filter-based adaptive camera system is capable of providing light intensity estimates that are close to the actual values with a deviation of less than 7%. This algorithm works predictively through a process of dynamic estimation and updating of lighting values, enabling it to simultaneously adjust camera exposure and focus settings. This results in sharper, more stable, and more realistic images even in low-light environments

Abstract

The adhesive or sealing system using the type of bag sealing machine used in the packaging industry is generally using a full-automatic continuous hot sealing machine which is the result of the development of a manual hot sealing type that uses a type of tape sealing bag (duct tape) such as the one in PT.X. Sealing bag problems that often occur are unstable heating processes, clamping settings and also cooling systems that are too fast. Planning the appropriate machine system and program control system can eliminate the problems caused by the sealing in several ways, including; Conducting system simulations and program design based on observation data, assembling and testing the built system. Conducting trials and tests of machine performance as well as testing the results of the bag sealing process. Furthermore, an evaluation of system performance and sealing bag quality results was carried out as well as improvements in system performance results in accordance with ASMEF88 standards. The design and implementation of the manufacture of automation machines and monitoring systems will involve PLC components and IoT technology. So that during the process, the system can be monitored in real time. The final result of this study is expected to reduce the problem of broken sealing in packaging bags by 1%.

Abstract

The concrete dust scrubber building is a crucial treatment unit in a urea fertilizer plant, responsible for processing urea dust emissions. Given Indonesia's location in the Pacific Ring of Fire, ensuring the building’s structural integrity against seismic influences is essential. Regular structural evaluations using Destructive Testing (DT) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) help assess concrete strength, reinforcement conditions, and environmental effects on corrosion. Structural performance analysis was conducted using Robot Structural Analysis Professional software. Due to safety concerns over urea dust emission leakage, core drilling (DT) was not performed. Instead, concrete quality was assessed using the Hammer Test and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV), yielding a compressive strength of 24.4 MPa. Reinforcement steel was evaluated through NDT methods, including carbonation, chloride, pH, and Half-Cell Potential (CANIN) testing, to assess environmental radiation effects. Steel Hardness Testing showed an average yield strength of 398 MPa, with a minimum of 396 MPa. The results indicated a 24 MPa reduction in steel quality due to environmental radiation. Structural performance was analyzed using ASCE 41-17 standards through Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 evaluations. The results demonstrated that the concrete dust scrubber building meets the stiffness, strength, and deformability criteria of SNI 1726:2019 for Special Moment Resisting Frame (SRPMK) systems. This confirms the building’s structural viability for continued operation in the urea fertilizer production process.
