Abstract

This study examines the traffic performance in the Gilingan area, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City, which has experienced rapid growth following the construction of the Masjid Raya Syeikh Zayed and the planned Islamic Center. The existing condition reveals daily congestion, particularly along Ahmad Yani and S. Parman roads, due to road narrowing and limited crossing infrastructure. To address these issues, the study employed field surveys and secondary data analysis, including traffic volume measurements, V/C Ratio calculations based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023, and microsimulation using VISSIM. Three traffic management and engineering intervention scenarios were tested: (1) optimizing APILL, installing medians, and constructing sidewalks; (2) enforcing parking regulations and optimizing integrated parking facilities with public transport; and (3) implementing a one-way system through a Giratory System. Results indicate that Scenario 3 provides the most significant improvement, with the V/C Ratio reduced from 0.51 to 0.49, an increase in average road speed, a reduction in intersection delay from 23.59 seconds per vehicle to 13.98 seconds per vehicle, and a substantial decrease in congestion cost. These findings affirm that the one-way system is the optimal solution for enhancing traffic service in the Gilingan area, offering valuable insights for transportation policy-making.

Abstract

Construction of state low-rise buildings in Pangkalpinang city is a common project that usually built by The Public Works Department of Pangkalpinang. The problem often faced by construction of state low-rise buildings projects at Pangkalpinang is the low performance of time (Delay). This condition be expected caused by Change Contract Order (CCO), man power, materials, and machine, This research aims to analyze the influence of those factors on delay time in state low-rise building construction projects. The analysis used in this research is multiple regression with SPSS. This research finds that both and parsially the 4 (four) factors influence the time-performance (delay) of low-rise state building construction. Based on data analysis, the equation Y = 3.887 + 0.390 X1 + 0.278 X2 + 0.265 X3 + 0.341 X4. Based on the results of the Coefficient of Determination Test, simultaneously CCO Factors (X1), Manpower Factors (X2), Materials Factors (X3) and Machines Factors (X4) have an influence contribution of 74.0 % of Time Performance (Y). Meanwhile, for the results of the most dominant factor analysis using Beta Standardized x Zero-Order, it was found that the CCO Factor (X2) was the most dominant factor that could influence time performance with an influence value of 23.99%. Considerations in determining alternative solutions to control time performance in state low-rise building construction projects are carried out on the most dominant factor, namely the CCO Factor (X1).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model through differentiated learning in science subjects in class 5C MI Negeri 5 Sukoharjo and identify challenges in its implementation. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of PBL combined with differentiated learning helps students in understanding the material of the human respiratory system and makes them more active in the learning process. Differentiated learning is applied based on students' learning styles, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, so that learning strategies and media can be adjusted to individual needs. Teachers use various methods such as videos for visual students, discussion and presentation of material through speakers for auditory students, as well as experiments on making props for kinesthetic students. Despite the challenges of managing more dynamic classrooms and differing levels of student understanding, the strategies implemented support their involvement in learning. In conclusion, the combination of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with differentiated learning is an appropriate strategy in science learning in elementary schools and is in line with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum which is centered on the needs of students.

Abstract

The MSMEs sector plays a vital role in economic development of small island like Bali, significantly contributes to Regional Original Income (PAD), and provides employment opportunities across various sectors. With Bali’s rural and natural richness, MSME sector of handicrafts and tourism-related products, has great growth potential, both domestic and global markets. Denpasar Customs is here to support the economic growth of MSMEs by providing KITE IKM facilities. The main objective of the KITE IKM facilities are to provide easy procedures and fiscal incentives to trigger increased production of export goods and business expansion to global markets. This study examined the impact of the KITE IKM facilities by MSMEs in Bali especially in its influence on export value, investment value and labor absorption. With such a huge profit potential, there are still a small number of SMEs who have never used it and there are also SMEs who have stopped using the facilities. The study found both internal and external problems included not sharing enough knowledge, governance struggle, and stakeholders not working together. The findings highlighted the need for improved communication, education, and policy adjustments to enhance MSMEs participation in export activities, ensuring the maximization of fiscal incentives. By addressing these barriers, this study aimed to provide insights into policy formulation that will support sustainable MSME growth, stimulate exports, and promote economic empowerment in Bali. The research aims to contribute to enhancing the efficiency of government policies and supporting MSMEs in achieving their maximum economic potential.

Abstract

Aviation safety is the main aspect that must be maintained in airport operations. One of the efforts made is through a safety campaign program to increase public awareness of the policy of prohibiting activities that interfere with the Aviation Operational Safety Area (KKOP) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the safety campaign program in supporting the policy by identifying challenges and formulating recommendations for improvement. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and document analysis methods. The analysis was carried out based on the effectiveness theory from Siagian, Steers, and Sutrisno which included aspects of successful achievement of goals, integration with stakeholders, adaptation to challenges, community satisfaction, and program productivity. The results of the study show that the safety campaign program has had a positive impact, such as increasing public awareness and supporting regulations. However, there are obstacles such as limited resources, low community participation, and less optimal coordination between stakeholders. Therefore, increased collaboration between related parties, optimization of digital technology in campaigns, and periodic evaluations are needed to ensure the effectiveness of the program in supporting flight safety at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Abstract

Building infrastructure plays an important role in the progress of a nation. However, failures in planning, design, construction, and maintenance can hinder development goals. The risk of failure of a construction project can come from technical aspects, human error, and natural factors. Indonesia, especially Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, faces challenges in infrastructure sustainability, especially after being designated as a National Tourism destination through Presidential Decree No. 84/2021. Despite the increase in infrastructure development, many cases of construction failures still occur. This research aims to develop a digital transformation-based intelligent Android application that can detect and mitigate the risk of project failure. The study used a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods, with the Likert scale for risk measurement. The first stage involved 22 respondents from several cases of project failure, resulting in 19 variables that caused failure. The second stage involved 88 respondents to test the validity and reliability of these variables, as well as analyze the level of risk using the Severity Index and Probability and Impact Matrix. The results of the study identified 19 risk factors, with 4 variables related to building failure and 15 variables related to construction failure implementation. Risk is classified into high, medium, and low categories, where 3 variables have high risk, 14 medium risk variables, and 2 low risk variables. This research also formulates risk management strategies, including steps to reduce and anticipate risks. In addition, the research resulted in the application of Risk Check Level, which aids in the detection, analysis.

Abstract

Information Technology Certification Center (ITCC) ITPLN is a certification unit that implements IT governance with Office 365 Applications. IT governance in Office 365 applications requires an audit to evaluate and assess capabilities and make recommendations on IT governance at ITCC. This is because the ITCC has never evaluated IT governance. Therefore, until now the ITCC does not know the extent of the benefits and impacts obtained from the application of IT on the progressivity of achieving goals related to information system management. ITCC also doesn't know what the weaknesses are and what the solutions are. The audit standard used is Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT). The chosen COBIT 5 domain is the Deliver, Service, and Support (DSS) domain which focuses on the assessment of delivery and information technology services as well as its support for ongoing business processes including problem management so that the sustainability of business processes is maintained. In addition, it is also intended to control, evaluate, and plan long-term business processes. The result is the overall Capability Level on Office 365 in ITCC.

Abstract

Indonesia's heavy reliance on coal for electricity generation poses significant environmental challenges, necessitating a transition toward more sustainable energy sources. Biomass co-firing, which involves blending biomass with coal in existing power plants, offers a practical solution  to  reduce  carbon  emissions  while  utilizing  the  country's  abundant  biomass resources. However, its large-scale implementation is influenced by multiple interdependent factors, including fuel availability, economic feasibility, technological readiness, and policy support. The study utilizes qualitative data analysis which is collected on interview sessions with   energy   and   electricity   stakeholders,   including   government,   national   electricity producers,  and  biomass  suppliers.  The study  found  44  factors  influence  the  system  of biomass co-firing for  electricity,  which  derived from seven categories, including biomass related  factors,  economic  feasibility,  government,  institutional  characteristics,  technical practicality, and new renewable energy/bioenergy. The interrelationships within the factors were analyzed using causal loop diagrams, which include three major drivers, which are technical  practicality,  institutional  characteristic,  and  economic  feasibility. The  findings emphasize  the  need  for  coordinated  policies,  investment  in  biomass  supply  chains,  and stakeholder collaboration to enhance co-firing effectiveness. This study contributes to the understanding   of   biomass   integration   in   the   electricity   sector   and   offers   strategic recommendations to accelerate Indonesia’s sustainable energytransition

Abstract

This study focuses on the classification of tire tread patterns using machine learning and deep learning approaches, emphasizing Logistic Regression (LR) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) combined with feature extraction methods like Inception V3, VGG-16, and VGG-19. Results indicate that Inception V3 outperformed other feature extraction methods, yielding the highest classification accuracy (CA) of 93.2% when used with SVM. SVM demonstrated superior robustness and adaptability, especially in handling complex data, as evidenced by its high AUC values (up to 0.987) across multiple configurations. Logistic Regression, while slightly less robust, performed consistently well with simpler features, achieving stable metrics with VGG-16 (AUC: 0.976, CA: 90.7%). These findings highlight the importance of selecting appropriate feature extraction and classification combinations to optimize performance. The study recommends using Inception V3 with SVM for high-accuracy applications and Logistic Regression for scenarios prioritizing computational efficiency. These insights contribute to developing adaptive and efficient tire classification systems suitable for diverse road and environmental conditions.

Abstract

Pediatric brain MRI is vulnerable to patients’ movement due to discomfort, resulting in anxiety, and may increase artifact susceptibility. Sedation is used to keep them calm during the MRI examination but it does not affect pulsation and flow artifacts. Fast acquisition technique and motion insensitive are required. Routine protocols of T2 sagittal pediatric brain MRI uses TSE sequences, but artifacts often appear on the image. BLADE fast imaging sequences are used with a pulse of MRI sequences, one of which is TSE with T2W. This research compared the image information of T2 TSE and T2 TSE fast BLADE sequences in pediatric brain MRI. It is a quantitative study with an experimental approach. The sample in this study was all pediatric Brain MRI examinations ≤5 years with the use of T2 TSE and T2 TSE fast BLADE sequences as many as 32 patients. Assessment of MRI image information was performed by 3 observers through visual grading analysis of sagittal brain anatomy image information and motion artifact, the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed Rank Test. The results of the p-value statistical test showed that T2 TSE fast BLADE is significantly superior (p < 0.05) compared to T2 TSE in visualizing the overall anatomy and minimizing artifacts, image sharpness, lesion detection and diagnostic reliability of sagittal pediatric brain MRI. The conclusion T2 TSE fast BLADE sequence can be recommended in pediatric brain MRI examination because BLADE can eliminate all motion artifacts and produce optimal image information.
