Abstract

In learning activities that are oriented to the needs and abilities of students, it is necessary to provide a variety of learning situations that are adequate for the material which is presented and this should be tailored to the abilities and characteristics of students. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of conceptualized acquisition with open ended question-assisted model in improving critical thinking ability of students. The research design is the control group of pre-test post-test to the students of mathematics education program at Muhammadiyah University in North Sumatra. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that the critical thinking ability of students who are taught with Conceptualized Acquisition with Open Ended Question-Assisted Model is better than the critical thinking ability of students who are taught with conventional learning model on lectures of Algebra Structure II and Conceptualized Acquisition with Open Ended Question-Assisted Model are effective in improving the critical thinking ability of students in the lecture of Algebra Structure II.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy at this time cannot be separated from financial services such as banking. Banks on a daily basis need to show their performance so that bank service users can see whether the bank is good or not. The purpose of this study was to compare the soundness of banks at PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Jago Tbk for the 2018-2020 period using the RGEC method. The object of this research is PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Jago Tbk. The data used is quantitative data. The data source used is secondary data in the form of financial reports that have been published by the official website www.bankcapital.co.id and www.jago.com or through the official website www.idx.co.id. The technique used is the documentation technique. And the analysis technique used is Bank Indonesia regulation No. 13/1/PBI/2011. The results of this study indicate that the assessment of the Risk Profile on the NPL ratio of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Jago Tbk in Healthy conditions, and the assessment of the LDR ratio of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk in Very Healthy conditions while PT Bank Jago Tbk in Healthy conditions. For the assessment of GCG aspects, the Self Assessment of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk is in Good Enough condition, while PT Bank Jago Tbk is in Good condition. Furthermore, for the assessment of the Earnings aspect of the ROA ratio to PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk in an Unhealthy condition, while PT Bank Jago Tbk in an Unhealthy condition. And the assessment of the Capital aspect on the CAR ratio of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk and PT Bank Jago Tbk in Very Healthy condition.

Abstract

Spices are a priceless wealth of Indonesia. Many other countries in the world import it especially Europeans who desperately need pepper for almost all the flavors of its cuisine. The culinary history of Indonesia is not spared from the raw ingredients of spices that become the main raw materials of Indonesian specialties. Almost all the flavors of cuisine throughout Indonesia use spices as seasoning "Madura" has a typical culinary that also uses spices such as soto, satay, Kaldu, and Nasi serpang. With the proliferation of culinary business in Madura and also the needs of daily cuisine that in fact use spices; This makes the need for spices increase. But with such a wide distribution and widespread spice plantations in Madura, encourage researchers to know the distribution process of the spices after harvesting until it reaches the hands of consumers (from scratch to plate). The distribution process can be explained in more detail by using one of the “Accounting Information System” business processes called "Supply Chain". In the "Supply Chain" will be explained a clear sequence of spices began to be planted-harvested-merchant-consumers. An Accounting Information System framework which is consists of "input-process-outputs". Input can be input or raw materials (spices seeds), while the process are: Spices begin to be planted, maintained then harvested (as output). The Output (harvested Spices) are entering the Chain of “Supply Chain”; they are going to be marketed or distributed to consumers directly, or sent to middle traders, and or sent to the market. The Supply Chain is expected to be able to better known in detail the journey of "The Spice" to reach the consumer to be used as the main spice in cooking, along with the price that occurs and the relationship that occurs between producers, middle parties and consumers. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The data processing technique by interviewing several important informants Spices are a priceless wealth of Indonesia. Abstract

The purpose of this study is providing information on the effectiveness of articulation therapy through telepractice for children with cerebral palsy at inclusive schools in Surakarta. This study uses the survey method, aiming to find information that will be used to solve problems and not to test hypotheses. The subjects of this study were all children with cerebral palsy in inclusive schools in Surakarta. The instrument in this study is in the form of Articulation Test Guidelines on the consonant /r/ followed by vowel sounds [ /a/, /i/, /u/e/, /e/ and /o] initial, middle and final positions in the form of words with the help of pictures. Therapeutic tools used in intervening with children are computers, cellphones with video calls. This research is required to be one of the models of Intervention/Management of Articulation Therapy through Telepractice for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Inclusive Schools. Based on the results of the analysis using the marginal homogeneity test, a p value of 0.031 (p < 0.05) statistically showed that there was a difference between before and after telepractice articulation therapy for cerebral palsy students in inclusive schools in Surakarta

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the marketing mix and patient loyalty and satisfaction at the hospital. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The type of data used in this study is qualitative data, which is categorized into two types, namely primary data and secondary data. Sources of data obtained through library research techniques (library studies) which refers to sources available both online and offline such as: scientific journals, books and news sourced from trusted sources. These sources are collected based on discussion and linked from one information to another. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. This data was analyzed and then drawn conclusions. Based on the description analysis, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the marketing mix on loyalty and patient satisfaction. After the analysis, it can be seen that all elements in the marketing mix have an influence on patient loyalty to reuse services at the hospital. After the analysis, it can be seen that the relationship between the marketing mix and customer satisfaction is very influential because the marketing mix is ​​a factor or market element used to satisfy customers.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation, work environment and workload on employee performance at PDAM Tirtauli Pematang Siantar. The nature of the research in this study is explanatory. The number of samples in this study were 88 samples. The independent variables in this study consisted of motivation (X1), work environment (X2) and workload (X3), while the dependent variable was employee performance. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that partially or simultaneously the variables of motivation, work environment and workload had a significant effect on employee performance at PDAM Tirtauli, Pematang Siantar City.

Abstract

Bleeding in childbirth is caused by anemia in pregnancy. This happens because when the mother gives birth, there will be adequate uterine contractions to be born. This study aims to determine the relationship between anemia during pregnancy and the incidence of primary postpartum hemorrhage. This type of research is analytical survey research. The subjects in this study were all pregnant women who suffered from anemia. The research place of the Juata Community Health Center in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. From May to June 2020. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from medical record books at the Juata Community Health Center. This study used a total sampling technique—data analysis using chi-square analysis. The statistical tests showed that pregnant women with anemia had an 11,253 times greater risk of bleeding during childbirth than women who gave birth vaginally. Pregnant women and their families should take care of their pregnancy by routinely carrying out antenatal care under antenatal care service standards

Abstract

The beauty of women who are very diverse is not limited to physical beauty, but there are many points of view that can be seen; therefore, women are the main target audience in the campaign. The trend of women's beauty is generally much influenced by the socio-cultural background of a society. As in the work of designer Nadya Noor who collaborated with Base, a beauty product company, by creating an illustration applied for campaign on clothing about beauty standardization, this work was inspired by the unique shapes of the big islands in Indonesia, as well as the diversity of women in Indonesia who very diverse. The research method using qualitative methods is to analyze the illustrations on clothes with the delivery of messages in the design. Through this work, the researcher examines the visual elements of fashion illustrations in campaigns with the messages conveyed through visuals in campaigns related to illustrations, colors, layouts, with data collection techniques through library research, documentation and interviews. The illustration can be symbols for Indonesian representation from all rases in Indonesia. The current study also would collaborate with international partner from School of Creative of Technology and Heritage Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. The expertise of the international partner regarding design creative visual issues would be beneficial to conduct the current study. More importantly, such expertise is required within the field of Communication Technology and Creative Industry contribute significantly within the literature, and to strengthen the international exposure of the current study. The research team from UMB would conduct the literature review, data collection, and data analysis. Meanwhile, the international partner from School of Creative of Technology and Heritage UMK would conduct the literature review, mainly on the creative industry construct. Finally, the output of this research is to publish the research result on International Journal of Art and Design Education, which is a indexed international journal.

Abstract

Parties politics are one of the most important components of a country's political system. This article aims to generate the birth of political power through the political process in empowered institution state and through political communication from the middle to the grassroots. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data types used in this research are qualitative data, which are divided into primary data and secondary data. Data sources obtained through library research techniques (library research) are related to resources available online and offline, such as: Scientific journals, books, and news from reliable sources. The findings of this study conclude that the role of political forces in the political system is crucial in the process of legislation and communication through which the party's vision and mission are realized. Political institutions that formally have legislative power are staffed by those empowered to do so, or are reflected in the power structure of state institutions through formal political power, such as the President, the Council of People's Representatives, and other state institutions and political infrastructure. Political power, such as political parties, community leaders, community organizations, NGOs, professional associations, etc.
