Abstract

This paper aims to perform a systematic review of articles that have used the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) from 2019 to 2023. The results in this research are based on the literature analysis of 10 existing articles on the UTAUT model. This has been performed by collecting data including demographic details, methodological details, limitations, and significance of relationships between constructs from the available articles based on the UTAUT. The findings indicated that general-purpose systems and specialized business systems were examined in the majority of the articles using the UTAUT. The analysis also indicated that the cross-sectional approach, survey methods, and structural equation modeling analysis techniques were the most explored research methodologies whereas Smart PLS was found to be the largely used analysis tool. This is the continued research that examined the literature on the UTAUT for the past five years and provided the researchers with accumulative knowledge about the model.

Abstract

This research delves into cybercrime in the post-truth era, where falsehoods are often masked as truths. This phenomenon, known as "talbis talbis," gives rise to illegal activities in the cyber world that exploit cybercrime scams such as phishing, pharming, sniffing, money mule, and social engineering. Despite being harmful, online fraud crimes are sometimes perceived positively by the public. Data from the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 indicates that a majority of respondents have experienced online digital fraud, especially through fake gift schemes and illegal online loans. The Financial Illegal Activity Eradication Task Force (PASTI) has blocked illegal financial entities, including bogus investments and illegal online loans. Illegal investment crimes primarily rely on duplicating licensed entity websites, deceiving the public with promises of high returns. This study reveals the modus operandi of domestic illegal investment crimes and compares them with regulations governing foreign direct investment. The conclusion emphasizes the need for assertiveness from PASTI and the Investment Alert Task Force of the Financial Services Authority in supervising and providing legal protection for legal foreign direct investment activities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Shoulder impingement is a painful shoulder condition caused by injuries to the structures in the subacromial space. The research aims to analyze the effects of the Mulligan Technique and Ultrasound on pain and functional ability in shoulder impingement conditions at EMC Sentul Hospital. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post-test control groups. Thirty participants were divided into two groups: an intervention group receiving the Mulligan Technique and Ultrasound (15 participants) and a control group receiving TENS and conventional exercise therapy (15 participants). Each participant underwent six sessions per week, twice a week. Before and after the treatment, each participant's pain level was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), and functional ability was assessed using the Shoulder Pain and Disability Index (SPADI). The analysis of the data showed that both treatments in the two groups reduced pain and improved functional ability in shoulder impingement conditions. However, there was a significant difference in the group receiving the Mulligan Technique and Ultrasound, with an average pain reduction from 6.6 NRS to 1.3 NRS and an increase in functional ability from 62.6% to 11.85%. The group receiving TENS and conventional exercise therapy showed an average pain reduction from 3.6 NRS to 6.13 NRS and an increase in functional ability from 61.3% to 40.2%. In conclusion, the study suggests that the application of the Mulligan Technique and Ultrasound is more effective in reducing pain and improving functional abil-ity compared to TENS and conventional exercise therapy in shoulder impingement conditions.

Abstract

This research was carried out to determine and analyze legal protection for buyers in good faith in resolving land rights disputes. To achieve the research objectives, a document study has been carried out on the Decision of the Makassar District Court Number: 318/Pdt.G/BTH/2014, with three approaches, namely the conceptual approach, legislation and legal objectives. The research results show that in his legal considerations the judge stated that if the land sale and purchase transaction does not fulfill the "halal cause" element in accordance with the provisions of Article 1320 paragraph (4) of the Civil Code, then the buyer cannot be categorized as a buyer in good faith and therefore does not receive legal protection. The judge's consideration was seen as wrong because it did not take into account the element of the buyer's ignorance of the existence of hidden defects in the object of sale and purchase, that the object of sale and purchase was in the status of "dispute and court confiscation".
