Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the relationship between water quality and body length of arowana fish by measuring several water parameters including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen and ammonia. In relation to length growth, calculations on SR, SGR are also carried out using ANNOVA. Direct laboratory scale observations were carried out by providing different feeds, including bloodworms, maggot, crickets and live fish with the water source for cultivation activities being well water. The results of observations in the field show that the growth rate of fish in length is influenced by the type of feed given. Giving bloodworms has the most effective value, next to live fish, maggots and crickets. This type of feed also affects the quality of the water used. To maintain success in ornamental fish cultivation, it is recommended to use water efficiently through integrated fish cultivation. Checking the water regularly as well as training of farmers on good management practices and integration is needed to ensure good water quality.

Abstract

Dry bamboo leaves are selected as a planting medium for ornamental plants to enhance nutrient content and improve soil drainage. Before being processed into fertilizer, dry bamboo leaves need to be shredded first. The leaf counting process for planting ornamental plants in villages still relies on manual methods such as using knives and scissors, which can be time-consuming and less effective. In response to this issue, a device for shredding dry bamboo leaves has been developed to improve efficiency and facilitate the leaf counting process. The innovation created is a household-scale dry bamboo leaf shredder that is more affordable and easy to mobilize due to its compact dimensions and lighter weight. The device is also easy to operate, as the shredding occurs when it is closed, and the process stops when it is opened, ensuring safe use for various users. The manual control of bamboo leaf weight and counting duration results in inconsistent shredding outcomes. Therefore, development has been carried out on the dry bamboo leaf shredder with artificial intelligence capabilities, specifically using fuzzy logic to automate the counting duration based on the size and weight of the bamboo leaves being inputted.

Abstract

This research focuses on the influence of hedonism, resource availability, and shopping convenience online impulsive buying behavior (OIBB), moderated by ease of use of digital payment methods. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 356 respondents online. 340 respondents were selected to be the sample because they fit the specified respondent criteria. The data obtained was analyzed using the PLS-SEM method and processed using SmartPLS software version 4.0. This research shows that hedonism and the convenience of shopping directly positively and significantly influence online impulsive buying behavior. Meanwhile, the availability of resources (money) does not significantly influence online impulsive buying behavior. In the moderation relationship, ease of use of e-wallets strengthens the relationship between hedonism and online impulsive buying behavior. Still, it can decrease the relationship between shopping convenience and online impulsive buying behavior. Meanwhile, the ease of use of e-wallets does not influence the relationship between the availability of funds and online impulsive buying behavior.

Abstract

Hyponatremia is one of the electrolyte disturbances that can be found in patients with central nervous system disorders, the most cases of hyponatremia are the Syndrome of Inappropriate Antidiuretic Hormone/SIADH compared to hyponatremia in Cerebral Salt Wasting Syndrome/CSWS and it is not uncommon to also occur in patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment without accompanying head abnormalities are referred to as Renal Salt Wasting Syndrome (RSWS). There is difficulty differentiating these two conditions due to almost the same clinical symptoms. Evaluation of volume status and monitoring of urate excretion fraction can help differentiate SIADH from RSWS and CSWS. Management requiring prompt diagnosis is essential to prevent severe hyponatremia from substantially causing cerebral edema and thereby reducing the risk of seizures. Fluid resuscitation therapy and sodium restoration are important. This case series report injured 2 CSWS patients after head trauma with different treatments and hyponatremia due to cisplatin induced RSWS.

Abstract

People's lives in developed countries are indeed in contrast to developing countries as well as in terms of behavior. Betel nut is estimated to be consumed by 10% -25% of the world's population. In East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, almost the entire population (21) districts consume betel nut, including the elderly, young people and school children, even those who are still studying in Early Education. About 80% of the population of Kupang Regency, West Timor, consume betel nut.even though the district Kupang is mostly poor. Possible Hazards in areca nut mixed with various other ingredients such as betel nut and lime produce adverse health effects including oral cancer and other systemic diseases, as well as having the potential for dependence such as smoking and alcohol. We conducted a survey of traditional leaders and community leaders who have been addicted to consuming betel nut for more than 20 years in Kab. Kupang West Timor in a poor community. A total of 10 participants conducted in-depth interviews regarding events using betel nut, related to customs and culture, and their relationship to health. It was stated by WHO that areca nut is a psychoactive substance and is a class 1 carcinogen. According to the community, consuming betel nut is exciting and has nothing to do with any disease. No one agrees to stop consuming betel Nut, and mostly do not agree to prevent children from consuming betel nut from an early age.

Abstract

The capital market can be defined as activities related to public offerings, securities trading, public companies, institutions, and certain professions. One of the factors considered in stock investment is the Efficient Market Hypothesis. The Efficient Market Hypothesis is a financial theory that discusses how asset prices in the market already reflect all available information. This study employs an approach to detect market reaction and market efficiency based on the event of the world oil price decline due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on March 10, 2022, through excess or abnormal return, price impact, and fluctuation patterns observed using a multifractal model. The research results on the abnormal return of the ASEAN-5 stock index showed a significant negative reaction at t-5 and t-3 during the event of the world oil price decline due to the Ukraine and Russia war in 2022 and a significant positive reaction at t-0 during the event. The average abnormal return before and after the announcement of the world oil price decline due to the Ukraine and Russia war in 2022 showed a significant negative reaction, but there was no significant difference in price impact between before and after the event. The efficiency level of the stock index in ASEAN-5 did not show a significant difference after the announcement of the world oil price decline due to the Ukraine and Russia war in 2022.
