Abstract

Abstract Population is growing every year. This has an impact on the reduction of agricultural land to cultivate crops. This study aims to combine a concept that aims to expand the benefits of continuously connected internet connectivity. Based on the long term, the narrowing of agricultural land will have an impact on the scarcity of hydroponic NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) is a model of cultivation by putting the roots of plants in a shallow layer of water. The water is circulated and contains nutrients according to the needs of plants. This study combines hydroponic plants with the help of Internet of Things (IoT) technology using hydroponic planting techniques. Rooting can develop in a nutrient solution, because around rooting there is a layer of nutrient solution then the system is known as NFT. Excess water reduces the amount of oxygen and dissolved nutrients. The use of a manual measuring instrument is actually time-consuming if the owner is busy. Based on this background, the author got the idea to create a system of monitoring water quality and nutrients in hydroponic plants that can be accessed through a mobile phone.

Abstract

Tangible objects are actual objects that can be touched and have a physical form. Therefore, the existence of tangible objects cannot be separated from the potential of damage and even disappearance. At the same time, tangible objects can be an essential source of research and can be a historical source that needs to be preserved. With the development of technology, objects can be recorded in digital forms, 2D Documentation, such as photos and videos, and increasingly sophisticated technology makes object recording developed in 3D Documentation. An easy method with good data quality results is photogrammetric. The implementation of the photogrammetric method has many advantages, some of which are straightforward procedures, portable equipment, and relatively low prices. This study uses a qualitative method based on photogrammetric experiments with various lighting settings and different needs. The results of this research are trying to breakdown of photogrammetric procedures that can applied according to field conditions.

Abstract

Heart failure is promoted by the imbalance of sympathovagal, which increased sympathetic and decreased parasympathetic activity. BAT, an electrical stimulation technology, cause the baroreflex to be activated and balances the sympathovagal. Systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted, including published reports about the effectiveness of BAT in heart failure patients from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, and Google Scholar to calculate the pooled standard mean difference and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) using either random or fixed effect model. Our search strategy identified 161 possible studies. Thirteen studies have been included as a full-text review. We excluded seven of these papers due to review, and our analysis has included six papers. Our combined analysis has shown that BAT is associated with an improvement in NYHA class compared to control (0.19[95%CI: 0.11-0.31], p = 0.000). Our pooled analysis also found that BAT, compared to control, was associated with 6-MHWD improvement, (-136.25[95%CI: -181.34 - -91.17], p = 0.000). Our pooled analysis also found that BAT, compared to control, was associated with HF hospitalization (-6.38[95%CI: -8.46 - -4.30], p = 0.000). BAT has a significant effect on improving NYHA Class, 6-minute hall walk distance, and decreasing HF patient's hospitalization days. Meanwhile, there is an insignificancy on LVEF and QoL improvement in HF patients. Future studies are still needed.
