Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat
The term community service refers to activities that utilize relevant science and technology to advance the welfare of the community and educate the nations life. This journal publishes articles with topics such as theoretical innovations or methods or strategies for implementing community service activities, community service management innovations, university-community partnership strengthening programs, as well as other topics related to the impact and best practices in the implementation of community service to society. Praxis accepts article submissions from all over the world. All accepted articles will be published for payment of an article processing fee, and will be available free of charge to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage. Praxis accepts article manuscripts with the following types Research Article: contains a quantitative, qualitative, or combination method study that shows the impact of community service projects on local communities, students, lecturers, or institutions. Reflective Essays contain sharp reflections on current issues or ideas related to community service based on literature. Projects with Prospects contains a description of the early stages of a community service project with an initial indication of its impact long-term evaluation plan a plan for how the project will remain sustainable; and best practices for readers to emulate. Book Reviews contains reviews of books related to community service which are more than just content descriptions, in order to analyze and extract their implications for theory and practice.

<![CDATA[Research skills, writing scientific articles, and scientific publications are essential for students. The purpose of this service program is to provide education to the participants in research, article writing, and scientific journals. This service program used the Asset Based for Community Development (ABCD) method. This service has five stages: potential identification, asset mapping, program analysis, program implementation, and evaluation. The service results showed that the service participants have writing potential that can be developed. The program chosen is a workshop. After attending the workshop, the participants could conduct research in the field of Biology, write the research results in scientific articles and submit them to appropriate national journals. It is hoped that this service program will not only be carried out among students but can also be carried out with a broader range of participants such as teachers, students, or santri.]]>

<![CDATA[Technological developments are happening so fast, one of which is website technology. So that people are required to follow the development of these technologies. However, most of our people still do not understand or understand technology which makes it difficult to achieve the industrial revolution 4.0. In fact, many IT graduates do not have the skills needed by the industry today. Therefore the author carries out community service with the target of SMK students where skills improvement must be carried out as quickly as possible before they enter the world of lectures or the world of work. This activity is training on building a portfolio website using the bootstrap v5.3 framework, which starts from an introduction (basic) to produce the desired website product. The results of this training activity were that the participants were very enthusiastic, motivated, and all succeeded in building a portfolio website as taught with very good results.]]>

<![CDATA[Pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media promosi banyak dimanfaatkan oleh UMKM. Penggunaan media sosial untuk promosi menawarkan biaya yang murah, pengoperasian yang mudah, dan tidak harus memiliki keahlian di bidang IT sehingga dapat dijangkau pasar yang lebih luas. Setiap tahun pengguna media sosial selalu meningkat mulai dari Tiktok, instagram dan facebook. Pemanfaatan media sosial untuk promosi bertujuan meningkatkan penjualan hal tersebut melatarbelakangi kegiatan pembinaan ini dengan memaksimalkan peran media sosial untuk UMKM batik. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada UMKM Alfa Shoofa Batik Kudus, Kecamatan Gribig, Kabupaten Kudus selama satu bulan sejak tanggal 6 Juli 2023. Permasalahan mengenai kurang optimalnya penggunaan media sosial sebagai media promosi menjadi penyelesaian utama dalam pembinaan UMKM ini. Metode yang dapat dilakukan adalah pelatihan dan pembinaan pemanfaatan media sosial untuk peningkatan penjualan pada marketplace. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan dan pelatihan yang dilakukan sangat bermanfaat dan mengajarkan UMKM Alfa Shoofa Batik kudus menyusun content promosi sekaligus mengarsipkan dokumen-dokumennya yang penting, terutama produk-produk batik yang dihasilkan.]]>

<![CDATA[Introduction to Website Structure, Tools, and Web Developer Careers is a community service activity carried out at the Jambi Medan Private Vocational School. This activity aims to provide basic knowledge about website development to SMK students, introduce tools and tools used by Web Developers, and discuss potential careers in this field. Activity methods include preparation of plans, introductions, presentations, demonstrations, making portfolios, discussions, and evaluations. This activity was held at a school location involving 20 students as participants. The results and discussion show that this activity had a positive impact on the participants. They gain a basic understanding of website structure and tools used in web development. The motivation to learn more in the field of web development has also increased, and this course provides an initial guide to building simple websites. Students feel better prepared to enter the technological world of work with potential careers as Web Developers or Web Designers. This activity helps them in preparing themselves for a future that is more connected with technology.]]>

<![CDATA[Training in the field of website design using Figma has been conducted for male and female students of Private Vocational High School (SMK) Jambi Medan. The objective of this training is to provide a fundamental understanding and skills in designing layout and visual aspects of websites using the collaborative design tool, Figma. The training method involves a series of practical sessions that focus on introducing Figma, basic web design concepts, layout principles, effective use of colors and typography, as well as the implementation of interactive elements. Step-by-step guidance is given to the students in creating website designs from scratch to completion, including collaborative team processes to enhance their creativity and understanding of responsive and aesthetic design. The results of this training demonstrate an improved understanding among the students of the fundamental concepts of web design and practical proficiency in using Figma. They are capable of producing simple website designs with well-structured layouts, appropriate color choices, and suitable typography. Furthermore, the students are also capable of implementing interactive elements such as links, buttons, and dropdown menus in their designs. In conclusion, the website design training using Figma provides significant benefits for students of Private Vocational High School Jambi Medan. They have acquired foundational knowledge and practical skills in creating appealing and responsive website designs, potentially opening new opportunities in the realms of design and technology.]]>

This of course can make it easier for consumers to meet their needs. Most MSMEs still lack knowledge about digital marketing to increase the competitiveness of product sales. This service activity for Hotimah Fashion MSME actors is used to make sales widely through the use of digital marketing. Besides that, digital marketing is also very helpful in the economy, especially in increasing family income which is carried out in this service activity. This is one of the elements in creating superior resources as well as the strength of the education system, especially in Indonesia. This can be proven at SDN Wonocolo 1 Taman Sidoarjo where this school is said to be lacking in students' numeracy skills. Because many students have a low average score in their numeracy, especially in grade 5, namely 5A and 5B. can be proven by the implementation of AKM where the average value obtained in the numeration is very low. Therefore a strategy or program is needed that can be used to improve the numeracy skills of students at SDN Wonocolo 1 Taman Sidoarjo. The method used is descriptive qualitative method using data collection techniques namely by interviews, documentation and observation.]]>

<![CDATA[Permasalahan kurangnya minat literasi nuumerasi menjadi salah satu permasalahan Pendidikan di Indonesia. seperti halnya siswa-siswi di SMP Dharma Wanita 9 Taman yang memiliki minat literasi numerasi yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh efek pembelajaran daring dan kurangnya pembiasaan literasi numerasi. Upaya atau metode yang dapat dilakukan guna meningkatkan minat literasi numerasi di SMP Dharma Wanita 9 Taman adalah dengan melakukan penataan ulang perpustakaan sebagai sarana penunjang kegiatan literasi numerasi, melakukan penata ulang mading sebagai sarana penunjang literasi, melakukan kegiatan literasi numerasi rutin setiap hari, dan melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan adaptasi teknologi guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan. Masyarakat Indonesia saat ini sudah mulai malas dalam kegiatan membaca bahkan kebanyak orang menganggap membaca hal yang sepele. Padahal dalam membaca anyak manfaat dan ilmu yang dapat diambil. Dalam dunia pendidikan, membaca menjadi suatu hal yang wajib dilakukan bahkan diharuskan untuk bisa membaca. Hal itu dikarenakan dengan membaca semua informasi atau ilmu pengetahuan yang ada di berbagai bidang. Oleh karena itu, membaca adalah suatu jembatan ilmu yang dapat dijangkau anak-anak untuk menambah wawasan dalam dunia pendidikan. Saat ini pemerintah telah menetapkan kegiatan literasi sebagai salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan siswa untuk menambah wawasan ilmu diberbagai bidang. Kegiatan literasi ini merupakan suatu upaya dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan antusias masyarakat untuk gemar membaca mulai dari usia anak-anak, remaja bahkan orang dewasa. <![CDATA[Menurunnya tingkat membaca dapat menjadi buktiIndonesia belum mengembangkan kemampuan pembiasaanmembaca. solusi untuk membangun budaya membaca di sekolah dengan adanya budaya membaca lewat kegiatan yang dapat diimplementasikan sekolah, penulis melakukan kegiatan tersebut pada SDN Wonocolo 4 Taman. Budaya membaca yang kuat di sekolah dapat memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan pada kemampuan membaca dan minat peserta didik terhadap keberlangsungan pengetahuan. Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Adanya kegiatan literasi sekolah yang telah dilaksanakan akan mampu membangkitkan minat baca siswa serta menciptakan lingkungan literasi di sekolah. Ini tentang meningkatkan minat dan dukungan untuk memperbaiki kondisi saat ini. Salah satu solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah mengubah mentalitas masyarakat khususnya di bidang pendidikan, dan menyediakan fasilitas yang memadai agar semua kalangan dapat mengakses pendidikan.]]>
