Inadequate provision of human capital components mismatches between an employee’s capabilities and the job required to be perform. Also, inadequate communication or feedback between the employees and the management remains the major challenges to organizations regardless of their nature and sizes. These challenges could lead to persistence underperformance of organization if the fail to take into cognizance. Therefore, adequate provisions of human capital components are the fundamental solutions to the problems of firms’ underperformance. This study examines human capitals and their influence on firm performance; and to build a conceptual model that explains the relationship between human capital and firm performance. The study employed the used of qualitative method of research which is based on secondary sources of data. The results of the study signify that human capital variables (training, skills developments, knowledge management, motivation, work experience and quality of education) lead to human capital effectiveness and have significant effect on firm performance. Based on the findings it was recommended that firms should therefore, come up with effective motivational such as training opportunities, skill development, recognition, and pay benefits plans in providing various human capital components as not only does its direct organizations to achieve greater performance but also it ensures them to remain competitive for their long-term survival.

The study investigated the opportunity-based entrepreneurial skills acquisition of undergraduate students in public universities during industrial actions by ASUU in Nigeria. Three research questions and one hypothesis guided the study. A descriptive survey research design and a sample of 744 undergraduate students using a purposive sampling technique, were used for the study. The instrument used for the study was a questionnaire, which was subjected to validation and reliability test. Data were collected online using Google Forms. Mean, standard deviation, percentage, and Chi-Square statistical tools were used to analyze the collected data. The results revealed that faculty of education undergraduate students in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State are not idle but are meaningfully engaged in the learning of diverse entrepreneurial skills during ASUU strikes. The study also revealed significant gender stereotyping among the students in favour of female students in the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills. It was recommended amongst others that male students should be reoriented to begin embracing Culinary/Art skills. On the other hand, female students should be encouraged to also embrace technical skills.

Angke Kapuk Mangrove Nature Park is a nature-based tourist attraction – nautical, part of the Angke Kapuk Area. It analyzes consumer behaviour through understanding consumer characteristics, the travel decision process, and the suitability between the attributes offered and those needed by visitors to provide a high satisfaction level. This study was conducted to find out more about the level of tourist satisfaction with the components of tourism. It analyzes consumer behaviour through understanding consumer characteristics, the travel decision process, and the suitability between the attributes offered and those needed by visitors to provide a high satisfaction level. This data was collected using quantitative research. The research method used in this study is the Customer Satisfaction Index and Important Performances Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method showed that the respondents were satisfied with the performance of the services provided by the Mangrove Natural Tourism Park, Angke Kapuk. Tourists are satisfied with the Attraction component with a value of 71.7% Then tourists were satisfied with the Amenity component with a value of 70.8%. In addition, tourists are also satisfied with the Accessibility component with a value of 69.0%. Finally, tourists are quite satisfied with the Ancillary Service component with a value of 63.9%. The IPA is a strategic tool for tourism managers or researchers to assess the quality of tourism services by providing guidelines to prioritize areas of focus for improvement.

This latest research discusses the need for a better understanding of interest in entrepreneurship in vocational high school students. Financial literacy is knowledge needed by everyone (including vocational high school students) in everyday life. It consists of studying theory, mastering practical skills and developing financial thinking, all of which will make each of us financially successful. This study aims to analyze the importance of the school environment and understanding of financial literacy and entrepreneurial characteristics that mediate students' interest in entrepreneurship. The saturated sample in this study consisted of 41 class 11 vocational student respondents, with an age range of 16-18 years who participated in community service activities held by UPI YAI lecturers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire survey which was carried out at the end of the presentation of the material by the lecturers with 45 question indicators. Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square is an analytical technique used in this study. Testing path analysis with a measurement model (outer model) is carried out to find out the correctness of the answers given to the questions, namely measurements of internal consistency, convergent validity and discriminative validity, then proceed with testing the structural model (Inner Model). The results of the study show that the school environment has a direct effect on financial literacy and this financial literacy has an effect on the entrepreneurial characteristics of students. Meanwhile, the school environment and financial literacy have no effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship. This study shows that school environment, financial literacy and business characteristics can be valuable indicators to increase and trigger students' interest in entrepreneurship. These results can be used to guide policy makers where to place more emphasis on financial education for vocational

By adopting a bibliometric analysis approach, this study systematically reviews and retrospectively analyzes the rapidly emerging literature on Corporate social responsibility in Small and medium-sized enterprise (SME). The analysis reveals the intellectual structure of papers that have been published from 2000 to 2022 on the Scopus database. Based on the research conducted, the number of articles on CSR in SMEs is increasing, indicating a need for research in CSR practices and recognizing SMEs' role in sustainable development. The UK, Spain, and Italy show high commitment to SDGs, while research on CSR in SMEs is limited in Eastern Europe and Africa. The cluster analysis reveals that there are numerous major subjects in CSR research in the SME setting that are interconnected and can provide important insights for stakeholders in achieving sustainability and improved business performance. The findings show the trends that highlights the importance of SMEs in promoting sustainable development and the need for further research to guide the design of effective CSR strategies that can benefit both the environment and society

This research raises issues related to the decline in Netflix users. It can be seen that customers are less interested in re-subscribing to Netflix. In fact, this is because there are several gaps that occur in the quality of the Netflix e-service. The poor quality of electronic services also has a moderate impact on the confidence of consumers who have less trust in the Netflix service. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between e-service quality and repurchase intention and the role of customer trust as a moderating variable on Netflix Video-on-Demand. The method used for this research is survey method with questionnaire instrument as the data collection technique. The object of this research are 260 Netflix users that domiciled in Bandung, which was filtered into 200 users based on sampling criteria. Sampling technique in this research is using purposive sampling. There are two hypotheses in this research. To test these hypotheses, the technique used are regression analysis and MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis). The result of this research showed that there is positive and significant influence from e-service quality towards repurchase intention on Netflix Video-on-Demand. Next, customer's trust strengthens the relationship between e-service quality towards repurchase intention on Netflix Video-on-Demand.

The performance of employees in a company is a parameter of success in realizing the vision and mission to achieve the goals of a company. Poor employee performance stems from a lack of implementation of work ethics and leadership. For a Muslim, work ethics and Islamic leadership are matters relating to the actions, attitudes, and attributes that a person performs and considers work as worship for Allah SWT and it is based on the Al-Quran and Hadith to get grace and a better quality of life. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the application of Islamic work ethics and Islamic leadership on the performance of employees at the Bandung Islamic University Foundation. The research method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The data source used in this study is primary data. The sampling technique in this study is non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling technique. The results of this study state that the Application of Islamic Work Ethics and Islamic Leadership influences Employee Performance.

This research study discusses the saving, buying and spending patterns of Overseas Filipino Workers. It used quantitative research design and has 772 OFW-respondents coming from all parts of the country. The sampling design was convenience-snowball non-probability sampling design. Findings suggest that most of the respondents were female, college graduate, have 1-2 dependents and are currently working in Hong Kong. As to buying and spending preferences of OFWs, they intend to plan ahead of time what they are buying. They are responsible spenders since they know how hard it is to earn money abroad. Food, remittance and health and wellness are the major expenses of OFWS. Many OFWs also allot portion of their income to savings. One of the limitations of this study is that this research paper only considered one point in time.

Increasing company awareness of environment, social, and governance (ESG) issues is getting more important in relation to financial performances. Investors and other stakeholders require ESG-related information to help them making decisions, in particular investment decisions. This study employed the Sustainable Fitch index to assess the ESG performance, by examining Company G as a case study as this company is considered the first company in Indonesia which went through Sustainable Fitch index evaluation. Sustainable Fitch index was chosen as this index is considered the most related ESG index for companies who would like to publish sustainability bonds and it has a unique methodology. The findings suggest that any companies conducting a Sustainable Fitch ESG assessment should calculate scope 3 emissions and clarify the emission reduction target timeline, including target verification with respect to the United Nations' Science-Based Target (SBT) or net zero targets. These measurements are considered as part of environmental accounting, an emerging accounting issues, related to sustainability. Besides, social performances are also crucial, and one of them is improving the number of women in management positions at all levels.

Food banks appear to be a socially desirable solution to better utilizing food waste from the standpoint of waste reduction since it provides a “win-win” solution. Despite having a valuable mission, sadly, food bank faces several barriers due to their reliance on donations. As a result, collaboration is becoming a desirable step for food banks to increase resources which lead to corporate sustainability. This paper employs a systematic literature review approach to analyze 26 “Food Bank and Stakeholder Partnerships” papers published in the Scopus database over the past five years. The findings indicate that most of research comes from US which have a sustain system of food bank. Numerous studies have examined the collaboration between food banks and different institutions, including healthcare, community, retail, academic, self-organizing, and multi-stakeholder entities which each collaboration gain a uniqueness objective of partnership. This paper discussed the existing of stakeholders and food bank partnership with Four-Co-phase Models of Value Co-creation Process to better understand the phases and traits of partnerships. Communication become an important point on build a sustain partnership. Based on the findings, the topic of communication is widely addressed in articles on collaborative efforts, necessitating further research on trust within collaboration. Further research is needed to explore the sustainability of food banks in developing countries due to limited existing studies. In addition to external collaboration, internal collaboration within the food bank is also important for ensuring organizational harmony in the future.
