Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas proses remastering Linux Mint untuk meningkatkan optimalitas dalam pengembangan website, dengan fokus pada studi kasus di Universitas Ibrahimy, Kabupaten Situbondo. Melalui pemilihan versi Linux Mint, instalasi perangkat lunak pengembangan, dan konfigurasi server lokal, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan lingkungan pengembangan. Evaluasi studi kasus mengidentifikasi keuntungan dan tantangan dalam implementasi remastering, menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi pengembangan website. Kesimpulan menyajikan temuan utama, implikasi praktis, dan saran untuk pengembangan selanjutnya, menegaskan bahwa remastering Linux Mint dapat menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dalam mencapai optimalisasi pengembangan website di konteks universitas.

Abstract

Telecommunications companies face a major challenge in retaining customers as the cost of acquiring new customers is much higher than retaining existing customers. Customer churn, or the tendency of customers to stop using a service, can cause significant losses to the company. Customer churn prediction using Machine Learning techniques is crucial to address this issue. This research uses a Streamlit-based Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm to predict customer churn in the telecommunications industry. Inspired by how the human nervous system works, ANN can learn complex customer data patterns, such as tenure, contract type, and monthly fee, resulting in more accurate predictions. Based on the research results, the Streamlit-based ANN method achieved 98% accuracy, higher than the previous method. However, the high accuracy indicates the potential for overfitting, so further testing with larger and more diverse datasets is needed to ensure better generalization. This model is expected to help telecommunication companies identify potentially churning customers and improve customer retention strategies effectively.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari masyarakat modern. Penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif, seperti kecanduan, kecemasan, dan depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis emosi pengguna media sosial berdasarkan durasi penggunaan harian dengan algoritma machine learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari kuesioner yang diberikan kepada pengguna media sosial. Data tersebut meliputi durasi penggunaan harian, platform media sosial yang digunakan, emosi yang muncul saat menggunakan media sosial, dan jumlah interaksi di media sosial. Algoritma machine learning kemudian digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan emosi pengguna media sosial berdasarkan durasi penggunaan harian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara durasi penggunaan media sosial dengan emosi pengguna. Pengguna yang menggunakan media sosial lebih lama cenderung mengalami emosi negatif seperti kecemasan dan depresi. Studi ini memberikan wawasan baru tentang bagaimana durasi penggunaan media sosial dapat memengaruhi emosi pengguna. Hasil studi ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan strategi intervensi guna mencegah dampak negatif media sosial terhadap kesehatan mental.

Abstract

Case files are very important documents in the Palangka Raya District Attorney's Office which currently still applies conventional systems such as writing a combination of letters and numbers on physical archive files using Microsoft Excel. The unorganized archive storage space and the large number of case files that have not been computerized cause employees to have difficulty finding the case files when needed by the Prosecutor. This study aims to design and build a general criminal case file archiving system at the Kejaksaan Negeri Palangka Raya. This information system is made web-based using PHP language and MySQL database to replace the existing manual archiving method. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses, 82.5% of this system provides convenience in archiving and retrieving general criminal case files needed by the Prosecutor.

Abstract

Technology has an important role so that digital public services can run as they should. Regarding administration and information in Jabungsisir village, it is still inadequate, as shown by several facts in the field, including (1) the computer equipment in the Jabungsisir village hall still uses old CPUs and Windows XP. and the official Jabungsisir village website does not yet exist, information regarding Jabungsisir village is still integrated with the Probobolinggo district government website. (2) the use of information and communication technology (ICT) is not optimal, for example virtual meetings using Zoom or Google Meet, even though this is very important when face-to-face meetings are not possible, for example during an outbreak such as Covid-19 last year. . (3) Likewise, the storage of village documents has not been carried out in the cloud/virtual way, so data is vulnerable to loss when damage occurs to the data processing equipment. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method to obtain in-depth information about how Information and Communication Technology Optimization Strategies support the Data Digitalization Process at the Jabungsisir Village Office, Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency. The results of this research are the creation of a Jabungsisir village website, virtual data storage and an understanding of the use of ICT for long distance meetings.

Abstract

Kanker merupakan tantangan kesehatan global utama dengan tingkat kematian yang signifikan. Penentuan status kanker yang akurat penting untuk diagnosis dan strategi pengobatan yang tepat. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) dalam klasifikasi jenis kanker, dengan fokus pada dataset kanker payudara dari UCI Machine Learning Repository. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup pengumpulan data, seleksi atribut, pemisahan data menjadi training dan testing, serta implementasi KNN. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa KNN dapat mencapai akurasi 87.61% dalam klasifikasi dengan evaluasi menggunakan metrik seperti presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Investigasi lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan nilai K, waktu komputasi, dan penanganan dataset besar untuk penerapan yang lebih efektif dalam onkologi.
