Abstract

Accessibility plays a crucial role in influencing the selection of a Primary Healthcare Facility (FKTP) by BPJS Health participants. This study aims to examine the effect of accessibility measured through distance, travel time, availability and cost of transportation, as well as road infrastructure quality on the decision of BPJS participants in choosing Ngamprah Public Health Center as their FKTP. A quantitative method was employed using a survey approach, with questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents residing in four nearby villages: Sukatani, Ngamprah, Tanimulya, and Cilame. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The findings reveal a significant influence of accessibility on participants’ FKTP selection decisions. The more accessible a facility is perceived to be, the more likely it is to be chosen. These results highlight the strategic importance of improving accessibility to optimize the role of FKTPs in the primary healthcare system. This study recommends that both BPJS and public health centers consider physical and geographical factors when designing healthcare policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of institutional ownership, independent commissioners, executive compensation, and audit quality on tax avoidance in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2023 period. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method with the following criteria: (1) companies listed consecutively during 2021–2023, (2) publishing annual financial reports, and (3) reports presented in Rupiah. A total of 60 companies were sampled. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that all four variables—institutional ownership, independent commissioners, executive compensation, and audit quality—have a significant effect on tax avoidance. Theoretical implications support agency theory, which suggests that governance mechanisms do not always suppress opportunistic behavior but can be leveraged for tax efficiency. Practically, management needs to manage tax strategies ethically, investors need to pay attention to tax risks, and regulators are advised to tighten oversight and close legal loopholes exploited in tax avoidance practices.

Abstract

Knee pain is a common musculoskeletal complaint, particularly in the elderly. This disorder involves damage or dysfunction to structures such as bones, knee joints, and surrounding soft tissues, including nerves, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and blood vessels. One non-pharmacological approach proven effective in treating knee pain is acupuncture therapy. This therapy plays a role in improving blood circulation, stimulating cartilage matrix repair, reducing joint space narrowing, and helping to gradually relieve pain. This study was conducted from September to April 2025 at the Panti Sasana Tresna Wredha Yayasan Dharma Bakti in Wonogiri Regency. A sample of 32 patients met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were then treated with a combination of Angco/Jujube (Ziziphus Jujube) herbal infusion and local acupuncture therapy. This study used a quantitative, quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre- and post-test design. Knee pain severity was measured using the VRS (Verbal Rating Scale). Based on the Mann-Whitney test, a significant value of ρ = 0.035 was obtained. This means that acupuncture therapy combined with Angco/Jujube (Ziziphus Jujube) herbal infusions is effective in reducing knee pain. Based on this study, it was concluded that combination therapy using Angco/Jujube (Ziziphus Jujube) herbal infusions is effective in reducing knee pain at the Panti Sasana Tresna Wredha Yayasan Dharma Bakti Wonogiri Regency.

Abstract

Hepatitis B is a serious infectious disease caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV), which can progress to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. Early detection of HBV infection is crucial to prevent disease progression, but the Pre-S2 gene region as a diagnostic target remains understudied. This gene plays a crucial role in viral infectivity, replication, and immune response, and its mutations are known to contribute to latent infection and the pathogenesis of liver cancer. This study aimed to design in silico primer pairs specific to the HBV Pre-S2 gene using a bioinformatics approach. The design was performed using Primer3Plus based on the HBV genome sequence from GenBank (Accession Number AB246345.1), and evaluated through physicochemical parameters such as length, melting temperature (Tm), GC content, and potential for secondary structure formation. The best candidates were then tested for specificity using Primer-BLAST against various HBV isolates. The results showed that the forward primer pair 5’-TTCCTCTTCATCCTGCTGCT-3’ and reverse primer pair 5’-AGTTTCCGTCCGAAGGTTTT-3’ were able to amplify the Pre-S2 gene with a PCR product length of 193 bp and exhibited high specificity for the HBV genome. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the in silico approach in designing primers for molecular detection of the HBV Pre-S2 gene and its potential applications in diagnosis, mutation research, and the development of prevention strategies.

Abstract

Mobile phone accessory stores, particularly those selling accessories and spare parts, face challenges in managing stock accumulation, especially with slow-moving items that are rarely purchased. This study aims to implement the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) method to segment customers based on their transaction behavior and relate it to product movement. Through this analysis, store owners can identify which products are fast-moving or slow-moving, and which customers actively contribute to inventory turnover. The segmentation results support better decision-making in promotional strategies, restocking the right products, and managing discounts for rarely sold items. This research shows that the RFM approach is not only useful for customer management, but also effective in enabling a more adaptive and efficient inventory management system.
