Abstract

This article proposes a conceptual framework for integrating Entrepreneurship Education, Artificial Intelligence Technology, and Educational Technology as a transformative catalyst for Higher Education in Indonesia. Higher education in Indonesia currently faces difficult challenges, where universities are required to produce graduates who are not only competent but also creative, innovative, and adaptive so that they can overcome the high unemployment rate among young people. A systematic literature review, which refers to entrepreneurship theories and the latest trends in Artificial Intelligence and education technology (over the past five years), reveals the synergistic potential of technology in shaping entrepreneurial mindsets and skills that are relevant to the needs of the times. Although Indonesia's digital ecosystem can be said to have developed rapidly and there are national policies from Indonesia Government related to AI, the implementation process faces significant challenges, such as infrastructure gaps and human resource readiness. The framework proposed in this study describes a holistic approach that includes AI-enriched curricula, Educational Technology-driven pedagogy, a robust digital support ecosystem, and AI-based assessment and analysis, all tailored to the Indonesian context. This article recommends strategic investment in digital infrastructure, capacity building for teaching staff, cross-sector and multi-stakeholder partnerships, and a robust AI ethics framework to realize the vision of higher education that produces socially responsible, ethical, and impactful entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of United States reciprocal tariff announcements on stock market reactions in ASEAN countries using six major indices: IHSG (Indonesia), STI (Singapore), FTSE KLCI (Malaysia), SET (Thailand), PSEi (Philippines), and VN Index (Vietnam) in 2025. Three events are analyzed: the initial tariff announcement on April 2, 2025, the tariff pause announcement on April 9, 2025, and the tariff adjustment announcement on August 1, 2025. An event study method is applied with a 120-day estimation period and an event window from t0 to t+3 using the mean-adjusted model. Hypothesis testing employs the one-sample t-test or the Wilcoxon signed-rank test based on data normality. The results show that the initial tariff announcement generated significant negative cumulative abnormal returns, particularly in Vietnam and Singapore. The tariff pause announcement produced significant positive abnormal returns, indicating a market rebound following reduced policy uncertainty. The tariff adjustment announcement resulted in more moderate reactions, with insignificant daily abnormal returns but a positive cumulative effect. Overall, ASEAN stock markets react to U.S. tariff announcements, although price adjustment is not always immediate, indicating deviations from full semistrong market efficiency.

Abstract

Talent management is a strategic human resource management (HRM) practice essential for attracting, developing, and retaining skilled employees. In the public sector of developing countries, systemic constraints often undermine effective talent management. This study examines talent management challenges in the Gambian public sector through a qualitative literature‑based analysis. Drawing on peer‑reviewed articles, government policy documents, civil service regulations, and institutional reports, the study employs thematic analysis to identify constraints across the talent management cycle. The findings reveal weak strategic workforce planning, rigid recruitment and promotion systems, inadequate training and development, poor succession planning, chronic retention problems, and institutional and political constraints. A multi‑level typology institutional, organizational, and individual is proposed to structure these challenges. The study is informed by the Resource‑Based View, Institutional Theory, and Public Service Motivation, which together explain how human capital underutilization, regulatory rigidity, and motivational limits interact to shape talent management outcomes. The study contributes a theory‑informed synthesis of talent management constraints and offers policy implications for HRM reforms in the Gambian public sector, including increasing managerial autonomy, strengthening merit‑based practices, and investing in leadership development.

Abstract

The management of marine resources in Indonesia’s coastal areas increasingly requires approaches that integrate ecological sustainability with sociocultural contexts. One form of local wisdom that continues to be practiced in eastern Indonesia is sasi, a customary law system that regulates the utilization of natural resources through temporary prohibitions. This study aims to analyze the closing of sasi adat as a mechanism for managing and sustaining marine resources through a case study in Namatota, Kaimana Regency, West Papua. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using field observations and a literature review. The findings indicate that tutup sasi adat functions not only as an ecological conservation instrument by providing recovery periods for marine ecosystems but also as a social control mechanism that strengthens community compliance with customary law. The integration of tutup sasi practices with the Sasi Gam Festival further reinforces cultural transmission, documentation, and community awareness of sustainable resource management. The study concludes that closing of sasi adat represents an effective and adaptive form of customary marine resource management rooted in local wisdom, contributing to environmental sustainability and local food security. Strengthening customary institutions and aligning customary practices with formal governance frameworks are essential to ensure the continuity of tutup sasi amid contemporary socioeconomic challenges.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism village development requires effective cross-sector collaboration to balance economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. However, existing studies have largely treated the Pentahelix model, which involves the government, academia, business, community, and media, as a normative framework, with limited systematic analysis of its governance dynamics, power relations, and inclusivity outcomes. This study addresses this gap by employing a PRISMA-based Systematic Literature Review of 40 empirical articles published between 2014 and 2025, sourced from Scopus, Web of Science, SINTA, Garuda, and Google Scholar. The findings indicate that multi-actor collaboration under the Pentahelix model contributes to innovation, capacity building, and the preservation of cultural and environmental resources, resulting in improved household income, employment opportunities, and the growth of micro and small enterprises. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of the model remains uneven across contexts due to challenges such as asymmetrical power relations, fragmented coordination, limited funding, and gaps in community capacity, particularly in digital literacy and tourism management. This study contributes to the literature by reconceptualizing the Pentahelix model as a dynamic form of collaborative governance shaped by interaction patterns, institutional arrangements, and inclusivity challenges, rather than a static and idealized framework. The findings emphasize that the success of multi-stakeholder collaboration depends not only on actor involvement but also on the quality of coordination and governance mechanisms. Practically, the study highlights the importance of institutionalized coordination platforms, participatory governance, and targeted capacity-building initiatives. From a policy perspective, it underscores the need for adaptive and inclusive governance strategies in Indonesia, including decentralized collaboration structures and the active inclusion of vulnerable groups. Future research should employ quantitative and mixed-method approaches to examine causal relationships and conduct comparative studies across different contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Non Performing Loans (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Return on Asset (ROA) on credit distribution, with the BI Rate serving as a moderating variabel. The population in this study includes all banking companies listed in the LQ45 index for the 2020-2024 period. This research was conducted by taking secondary data including financial reports, annual reports, and banking statistical data. The data analysis method used is panel data regression with a random effect model, processed with Eviews 13 software. The results of this study showed that simultaneously, NPL, NIM and ROA significantly influenced credit distribution. However, partially, the NPL and NIM had insignificant effect on credit distribution, while ROA had a significant positive effect on credit distribution. Futhermore, the BI Rates able to moderate the effect of NPL on credit distribution, but unable to moderate the effect of NIM and ROA on credit distribution in LQ45 index banking companies for the 2020 – 2024 period.

Abstract

The development of TikTok live streaming has driven changes in consumer shopping behavior in social media-based e-commerce, particularly through informative, persuasive, and entertaining real-time interactions. This study aims to analyze consumer shopping motivation on TikTok live streaming by examining the influence of seller characteristics, streaming platform, and performance on purchase motivation through customer perceived value. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method using SmartPLSThe data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents who had made or considered making purchases through TikTok Live. The model was evaluated through construct validity and reliability testing, determination coefficients, and an analysis of direct and indirect effects between variables. The results of the study show that all constructs have excellent validity and reliability. Seller characteristics and the streaming platform have a significant effect on performance and customer perceived value. Furthermore, performance was proven to significantly increase customer perceived value. The main results of this study indicate that customer perceived value is the most dominant factor influencing purchase motivation and acts as the main mediating variable between seller characteristics, platform quality, and live streaming performance on purchase motivation. This study concludes that consumer shopping motivation on TikTok live streaming is formed through an integrated mechanism, with consumer value perception as the main determinant in driving purchase decisions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The emergence of Artificial Intelligence in the education sector has risen rapidly. AI offers several conveniences, particularly for university students, as a tool that can help overcome the challenges of academic learning. However, students do not full and uncritically trust the outcomes generated by AI. This study aimed to explore the extent of students’ trust in AI-generated outcomes in English language learning. A descriptive qualitative was employed, with a questionnaire used as the primary data collection instrument. The participants of this study were 30 first year university students from non-English program at the same institution. The results indicates that while students generally perceive AI outcomes as beneficial for learning English, they continue to use AI as a supportive too rather than as a substitute for completing all academic tasks. In addition, students tend to use AI only when academic tasks or specific learning needs require it, rather than relying on it continuously. Overall, AI serves as an effective support for students in English language learning when used appropriately and its suitable contexts. Abstract

This study investigates the relationships between participative leadership, psychological safety, and employee performance at PT Suprabakti Mandiri, an engineering services and maintenance company operating in a high-risk, quality-sensitive environment. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional correlational design, data were collected from 270 employees across core operational departments via an online structured questionnaire. Instrument quality was confirmed through item validity testing, where all items exceeded the critical correlation threshold, and reliability analysis, which indicated strong internal consistency for participative leadership (α ≈ 0.85 0.87), psychological safety (α ≈ 0.70 0.73), and employee performance (α ≈ 0.77 0.79) constructs. Classical assumption tests supported the suitability of linear regression, with residuals normally distributed, no multicollinearity (VIF = 1.281), no heteroscedasticity, and linear relationships between the predictors and outcomes. The regression results show that participative leadership is positively and significantly associated with employee performance (p < 0.001; R² = 0.254). Psychological safety also demonstrated a positive and significant relationship with employee performance and explained a larger share of variance (p < 0.001; R² = 0.392). When tested jointly, participative leadership and psychological safety remained significant predictors and collectively explained 44.9% of the performance variance (p < 0.001; R² = 0.449), with psychological safety showing a stronger standardized effect. These findings suggest that improving leadership participation and strengthening psychological safety may enhance performance consistency and support efforts to reduce recurring non-conformance outcomes in contractor-based engineering operations.

Abstract

This study develops a competitive marketing strategy for Janati Park (Jatinangor City Park) in the Jatinangor residential market, where sales underperform despite strong access to universities and key corridors in the area. Guided by the 4C diamond, the analysis combines PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces with VRIO and positioning differentiation brand (PDB) diagnostics, and synthesizes priorities through weighted SWOT and a TOWS matrix. Data were triangulated via semi-structured interviews with management and customers, participant observation of Janati Park and direct competitors, and secondary sources for industry and regulatory contexts. The results show that location and a large land bank are durable strengths, whereas weak amenity depth, visible maintenance deficits, and inconsistent branding erode trust and make premium pricing difficult to justify. Customer journeys confirm that location is the most decisive attribute, but conversion leaks to competitors when buyers prioritize lower entry prices and lifestyle facilities aligned with student end-users. The recommended strategy retains the project’s strategic location positioning while adding a student-centered “integrated activity and investment zone” identity, completing promised amenities, improving cleanliness and drainage reliability, expanding student-oriented services and event partnerships, and institutionalizing “peace of mind” through governance and service standards. These actions translate land scale into everyday value and restore the credibility needed for sustainable competition.
