Jurnal Teknik Ilmu dan Aplikasi (JTIA) merupakan sarana bagi para peneliti, akademisi, dan praktisi untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian, temuan, konsep, ataupun gagasan terkini khususnya dalam bidang keteknikan. JTIA terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Artikel yang diterbitkan oleh JTIA telah melalui proses blind-review dan pengecekan plagiarisme dengan batas maksimum 20%. Selain itu JTIA juga menggunakan standar pengarsipan Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN). Abstract

Kenyamanan penumpang kendaraan beserta kestabilan dalam mengendarainya adalah salah satu variabel penting yang selalu diinginkan oleh setiap orang yang menggunakan alat transportasi. Guna mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka bagian suspensi kendaraan akan memegang peranan penting karena fungsinya yang mengisolasi penumpang dari pengaruh eksitasi dari luar kendaraan dan mengatur kestabilan kendaraan agar roda tetap menempel di permukaan jalan. Performansi setiap suspensi sangat perlu untuk diuji sehingga bisa dianalisis kondisinya serta jika dimungkinkan untuk dikembangkan suatu suspensi yang lebih baik unjuk kerjanya. Dalam penelitian ini dirancang model alat uji getaran kendaraan satu roda yang dipakai untuk menguji kenyamanan dan kestabilan kendaraan. Perancangan diawali dari komponen transmisi penggerak dari motor ke komponen profil jalan, dalam hal dimensi, bentuk dan material penyusunnya. Komponen permukaan jalan ini berupa motor, camshaft, connecting rod, plat permukaan jalan, poros pendukung dan roda. Setiap komponen itu dirakit menjadi satu kesatuan sistem alat uji dan akan disimulasikan pergerakannya. Perancangan ini berbasis pada Computer Aided Design dengan perangkat lunak Catia. Pengujian model kendaraan dilakukan secara simulasi dengan gaya eksitasi berupa gelombang sinusoidal dan fungsi step dengan variasi jenis suspensi, baik yang soft, medium dan hard. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan respon yang bagus. Suspensi jenis Soft dan Medium bisa menangani getaran dengan sangat baik terutama dari tingkat kecepatan responnya untuk jalan yang relatif rata. Sementara itu Suspensi jenis Hard sangat baik meredam getaran untuk jalan yang bergelombang.

Abstract

This article investigates the impact of hybrid Radio Frequency Energy Harvesting (RF-EH) techniques on cooperative Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communications systems. The energy harvesting (EH) process is carried out in the vehicle or vehicle transmitter as a source using the Time Switching (TS) protocol and in the vehicle or relay vehicle using the Power Splitting (PS) protocol. The transmitter or source vehicle obtains the RF signal for the EH process from the base station (BS), while the relay vehicle obtains the RF signal from the transmitter or source vehicle. System performance is presented with Outage Probability (OP) values ​​for different EH parameters, namely, time switching factor, α and power splitting factor â. From the simulation results, all parameters influence the OP value. The higher the value of the RF-EH parameters (α and â) results in a lower OP value. For noise power, N_0 = -100 dBm, the best OP value for α = 0.7 is 0.1214 and the best OP value for â = 0.8 is 0.1557.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of the concept of Constraints in Python to control loops, variable values, and functions. We also explain the use of Constraints in machine learning, particularly in credit analysis, to control the amount of data used and improve model performance. Each topic is equipped with Python code examples to make it easier to understand and implement these concepts. By understanding and using Constraints, you can write code that is more efficient and easier to maintain, especially in managing literacy and variable values ​​in programming and machine learning.

Abstract

This work investigates the implementation of hybrid AF and DF relay protocols in D2D multi-relay wireless communication systems. To obtain system performance we propose four scenarios for using the AF and DF relay protocols and three S – R and R – D distance conditions that have an impact on system performance in terms of throughput values. From the simulation results it is concluded that the R – D distance will produce the highest SNR value which produces the best system throughput value compared to . The simulation results also prove that applying the AF relay protocol to all relays produces better SNR values ​​and better throughput values ​​than applying the DF relay protocol. Simulation results with the impact of hardware impairment (HI) levels show that system performance in the first scenario is actually worse than other scenarios when the κ value is above 0.1.

Abstract

 The substation is a part of the electricity distribution system from consumer generators. To maintain the operation of the substation in optimal condition, maintenance or upkeep needs to be carried out in accordance with applicable maintenance standards. One of the equipment that requires routine maintenance at the main substation is the Separator (PMS). The disconnector (PMS) functions as protective equipment installed at the main substation and functions to disconnect and connect electrical power in a no-load condition. For this reason, maintenance needs to be carried out which aims to maintain the performance of the Separator. In this practical work report, tests were carried out on the knives or contacts on the Separator (PMS) to determine the contact resistance value. Next, this value is processed to determine the value of Power Loss, Electrical Energy Loss, and Electricity Costs and to determine whether or not it is necessary to repair the Separator (PMS). The results of the 150 kV Separator contact resistance (PMS) test in the Tarahan 1 Conductor bay of the Sutami Main Substation in the R, S and Contact Resistance phases are in the normal category because they meet the permitted standards, namely R <100 µΩ. This means that the Contact Resistance tested is still in good condition and the PMS does not require further repairs and the calculation results show that the largest electricity costs occur in Phase S when the injection current is 300A, amounting to Rp. 1,098,938 and the lowest electricity costs occur in Phase R when the injection current is 100A, amounting to Rp. 89,397.

Abstract

Kali Pancir is one of the rivers in Jombang Regency which often experiences flooding. The cause was heavy rain and the critical condition of the embankments. In this research, flood discharge analysis was carried out using synthetic hydrographs and hydraulic modeling for river flow. The data needed is rain data from rain stations around the Pancir River and river profiles. The method used to calculate flood discharge is the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph for 6 different return periods. Simulation using HEC-RAS software is used to simulate flow profiles to determine river cross-sections that are critical to flooding. Based on the results of the calculation analysis, it was found that the peak flood discharge occurred at 3.5 hours. The greater the return period, the greater the river cross section that experiences overflow. At a return period of 1.01 years, the critical cross section starts at STA 45, while at a return period of 50 years, the critical cross section occurs starting at STA 6.

Abstract

Solar power plants (PLTS) are one of the renewable energy plants that continue to be developed in Indonesia to meet electrical energy needs. The Indonesian government issued the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) as a national energy management framework designed to resolve energy needs challenges and problems by utilizing new renewable energy sources (EBT). In the construction of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) at PT. Quick Print Office built PLTS with a capacity of 20.5 kWp which is used for the electrical energy needs used by PT. Quick Print Office with a total power of 10 kWp, generator system with an on grid system which means it is directly connected to the PLN network. In the feasibility study, the performance ratio (PR) obtained from manual calculations for inverter 1 was 71.9% and inverter 2 was 26.2%. Meanwhile, to improve the performance ratio of the PLTS system, maintenance of the PLTS system is required, starting from cleaning the panels or checking the cable installation on the PLTS. For the calculation results, the efficiency on inverter 1 was 94.6% and on inverter 2 the efficiency was 90.8% when measured at 11.18 – 14.53.

Abstract

The rapid development of the automotive sector in electronic systems is accompanied by an increase in injector types that have different numbers of holes, especially on motorbikes. It is hoped that the different number of holes in the injector will have certain advantages which are expected to improve its performance. This research aims to determine the effect of using variations in the number of holes in the injector and the octane value of the fuel on petrol motor power. The research method uses experiments with descriptive analysis. The independent variable is the number of holes in the injector, 4, 6, and 8 and the octane value of the fuel is 90 and 92. In the power testing process using engine speed from 1000 rpm to 9000 rpm and the bound variable is the power. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence with the greatest power on the type of injector with 4 holes and fuel with an octane value (RON) of 92, namely 6.072 [kW] at an engine speed of 6500 [rpm]. When using fuel with an octane rating (RON) of 90, the greatest power in the injector type with 6 holes is 5,451 [kW] at an engine speed of 7000 [rpm]. In general, all types of injectors can be used, because the difference in power produced is not too large.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia meningkatkan polusi udara akibat emisi gas buang. Katalis dalam catalytic converter mempercepat reaksi tanpa berubah secara kimia untuk menurunkan emisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengurangi emisi gas buang dengan metode eksperimen pada motor 125 cc yang dilengkapi catalytic converter tambahan di leher knalpot. Pengujian emisi menggunakan gas analyzer dilakukan pada knalpot standar dan catalytic converter dengan variasi 4 dan 6 sekat, pada putaran 2000–7000 rpm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan catalytic converter berbahan kuningan dan TiO2 efektif menurunkan emisi CO sebesar 0,50 % pada 4 sekat dan 0,89 % pada 6 sekat di 6000 rpm. Emisi HC juga menurun pada 2000 rpm, dengan penurunan 399 ppm pada 4 sekat dan 124 ppm pada 6 sekat, sehingga catalytic converter ini terbukti mampu mengurangi emisi kendaraan.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan di Indonesia menyebabkan peningkatan polusi udara yang signifikan. Jutaan gas buang yang dihasilkan dapat memengaruhi kualitas udara dan mencemari lingkungan. Salah satu teknologi yang dapat membantu mengurangi emisi kendaraan adalah dengan memasang catalytic converter pada pipa knalpot kendaraan. Dalam penelitian ini, bahan yang digunakan adalah pelat kuningan dan serbuk titanium dioksida, sehingga biaya pembuatan menjadi lebih terjangkau. Kali ini, peneliti akan menguji performa kendaraan saat menggunakan catalytic converter. Media uji yang digunakan adalah sepeda motor 125 cc. Performa daya dan torsi tertinggi diperoleh saat menggunakan catalytic converter. Daya tertinggi sebesar 8,92 Hp diperoleh pada catalytic converter dengan 6 sekat, sedangkan knalpot standar tanpa catalytic converter hanya menghasilkan 8,42 Hp. Torsi tertinggi sebesar 11,22 N.m diperoleh pada variasi catalytic converter 6 sekat, sementara knalpot standar tanpa catalytic converter hanya menghasilkan 10,34 N.m. Peningkatan performa kendaraan ini disebabkan oleh efek tekanan balik (back pressure) dari catalytic converter ke ruang bakar, yang dapat membantu meningkatkan efisiensi pembakaran.
