Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia’s cosmetics industry is influenced by increasing skincare awareness. This study examines the impact of Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating on Purchasing Decision, with Consumer Trust as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative method, data were collected from 167 Instagram users who had purchased Skintific products. Analysis via Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0 reveals that both Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating significantly affect Purchasing Decision, directly and indirectly through Consumer Trust. Consumer Trust strengthens the relationship between review, rating, and purchase. These findings highlight the need for strong reputation management to foster trust and boost loyalty, ultimately enhancing sales in the cosmetics sector.

Abstract

This study aims to assess workers' compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) implementation and risk control using Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) methods on tower cranes to reduce workplace accident risks. Using a quantitative descriptive method through questionnaires, interviews, and field observations, the study found that workers' compliance is generally high but still not optimal, requiring further actions such as regular monitoring, safety patrols, and preventive measures. Risk identification using HIRARC identified 21 high-risk variables and 1 medium-risk variable. Risk control was implemented through the Hierarchy of Control and JSA methods, helping reduce potential hazards and improve safety performance on tower crane operations in the workplace.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how brand trust functions as a mediator between Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and Erigo fashion product purchases in Denpasar City. The existence of Erigo stores in Bali, which are limited to Denpasar, served as the basis for the choice of location. One hundred Erigo customers participated in the non-probability sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to gather data, and the Sobel test and path analysis were used for analysis. The findings demonstrated that the impact of E-WOM on purchase decisions could be mediated by brand trust. By paying attention to E-WOM and brand trust, these findings should help Erigo make better purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Traffic density increases fluctuatively during holidays due to rising tourist activities, requiring seasonal traffic management. This study analyzes the impact using PKJI 2023 and PTV VISSIM modeling. At peak hour, the intersection shows a degree of saturation (DS) = 0.776 and average delay = 13.075 sec/MPH with LOS B. Projections for the next 5–10 years indicate DS = 1.10 and delay = 25.234 sec/MPH with LOS D. Of three modeled alternatives, the best is Alternative 2: diverting major north-south traffic to the east minor road, resulting in average speed = 23 km/h, delay = 14.075 sec/MP, queue length = 16.417 m, and LOS B.

Abstract

The increasing need for environmentally friendly construction materials encourages innovation in mortar development. This study analyzed the effect of lime powder substitution with superplasticizer on the compressive strength of mortar, using substitution variations of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% by weight of cement, and 2% superplasticizer addition. Tests were carried out at the age of 7, 14, 21, and 28 days with laboratory experimental methods according to SNI standards. The results showed that the combination of lime powder and superplasticizer significantly increased the compressive strength of mortar, with the optimum composition of 5% lime and 2% superplasticizer at 28 days reaching 16.29 MPa, an increase of 243.3% from the normal mortar of 4.74 MPa. The use of these additives improves mortar performance and supports cost efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a serious problem in commercial areas such as Jl. Karanggetas, Cirebon City, which affects the effectiveness of mobility, travel time, and community productivity. This study aims to identify the causes of traffic congestion and formulate traffic management solutions based on local needs. The method used is mixed-methods, combining secondary data such as Average Daily Traffic (LHR), road geometry, and side obstacles, as well as field surveys. The analysis was conducted based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023, which is a national reference in evaluating road capacity and performance. The results showed that congestion is caused by illegal parking, loading and unloading activities during peak hours, and limited road capacity. The road level of service (LoS) is in the B and C categories, while the correlation between road user perception variables and congestion shows a weak relationship. Recommendations include the repositioning of parking zones, logistics timing, construction of angkot stops, and elimination of on-street parking to optimize traffic space capacity.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a common problem in developing countries including Indonesia, especially in dense urban areas such as Bandung City. This study analyzes the potential for the implementation of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) on Jl. Soekarno Hatta (Gedebage Intersection - Cibiru Roundabout), Bandung City. Traffic characteristics show a Saturation Degree (DJ) value of 0.85 in the morning and afternoon and 0.75 in the afternoon, with Level of Service (LoS) E and D. Congestion costs reach Rp 47,710,714 (morning), Rp 55,759,813 (afternoon), and Rp 75,905,411 (afternoon) per hour. The results show that the implementation of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system can reduce the use of private vehicles and increase the efficiency of congestion costs. Thus, the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system is a relevant travel demand management strategy in urban areas of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study had the aim to examine the effect of product design, packaging, along with promotion on consumer purchase intention at the Tiya Fashion online store. A quantitative approach was used with data processing using the PLS-SEM method. The findings revealed that all independent variables significantly affect purchase intention. Among the three variables, promotion is the dominant factor driving consumers’ purchasing decisions, while design and packaging have lower contributions. The research model is considered appropriate and free from multicollinearity issues. These findings indicate the importance of strengthening promotional strategies, particularly through digital channels, as an effective step to increase sales conversion. This study provides strategic recommendations for online fashion business actors, especially MSMEs, in designing more targeted and impactful marketing approaches.
