Abstract

In accordance with Order Number of the Minister of Health. The 2023 Environmental Health TPP is a place for food processing from raw materials to finished food. Therefore, to improve health, it is necessary to monitor TPP, especially in port areas, because a lot of human activity occurs at ports. The aim of TPP monitoring is to improve the quality of food and drinks and avoid the risk of poisoning and diseases such as diarrhea. This research is observational and based on a cross-sectional study, and the research was conducted from July to September 2023 at 16 TPPs currently operating in the Bajoe port area, Bone Regency. The variables examined in this research include location and building, sanitary conditions, kitchen, dining room and food storage area, ingredients and ready-to-eat food, food processing, food storage and ready-to-eat food, food service, equipment and labor. The total score is used when evaluating this variable. It is the sum of all ratings for each variable with a minimum value of 700. Based on the research results, of the 16 TPPs studied, there were 3 TPPs (18.75%) that did not meet hygiene requirements and 13 TPPs (81.25%) that met hygiene requirements. The conclusion of this research is that although many TPPs meet the requirements, there is still a need to improve sanitation conditions at TPPs and provide hygiene training for food handlers in the Bajoe Harbor area, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Public Accounting is one of the leading courses and programs in Indonesia. However, current datashow that the number of accounting professionals in Indonesia is very small compared to the population.Therefore, it is necessary to make students aware of bookkeeping. The purpose of this researchis to find out the influence of accounting students' opinions about the accounting professionon their interest in the accounting profession. A sample of accounting students in the 6th and8th semesters of the accounting curriculum in Swadaya Gunung Jat University were used as respondents.Research results show that the career choices of undergraduate studentsare more influenced by student interest variables and accounting majors and hard and soft skillsdo not seem to affect career choice of undergraduate students in accounting.

Abstract

Kuningan District has been awarded the Meritocracy award with a good predicate. This award is given to assess the implementation of the merit system in the management of civil servants for local government agencies. The Kuningan District Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency are expected to continue innovating in enhancing the implementation of the merit system. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Researchers conducted research using interview techniques. The theory used is the merit system theory according to Grundman in the U.S. Merit System Protection Board (2016). There are 9 indicators in the implementation of the merit system, namely Recruitment, Selection, and Advancement, Equity, Compensation, Conduct, Utilization, Retention, Employee Training and Development, Neutrality, Public Interest. The implementation of promotions and job rotations in the Kuningan District Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency has applied the merit system. In its implementation, educational background, work record, and relevant skills also become specific requirements for a civil servant who will undergo promotions and job rotations. The research results show that the Kuningan District Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency have optimized promotions and job rotations in accordance with the merit system.

Abstract

Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia have a social role by Law No. 21 of 2008 which has the task of collecting Zakat, Infaq, Alms, and Waqf funds from the community. This research is to test whether this role, if implemented by Sharia Commercial Banks as one of the company's core operational business activities, can improve the Performance of Sharia Commercial Banks, determined by ROA which measures profitability. with CSR initiatives acting as a moderating factor and business size as another independent variable. The study results show that receipt of ZIS funds from the public and internal banks has a positive impact on company performance. Apart from that, what is detrimental to company performance is the size of its assets. CSR moderates ZIS negatively on company performance, while the results of CSR moderation on the size of company assets have a positive impact on business performance.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to ascertain how the material created by the user, through the perception of usability and the perception of trust, influences the purchase intent. Purposive sampling is the strategy used in this qualitative research. 154 people who use social media and search for user-generated content (UGC) to find information about a product. The data analysis of this study was carried out using SmartPLS 4.0. The results of the hypothesis show that the p-value of each relationship between variables has a value below 0.05. The findings show that there is an influence of user-generated content on purchase intention. The perceived usefulness and perceived trust variations are also able to mediate the relationship between user-generated content and purchase intent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how digital marketing has impacted the growth of different MSMEs in Manado City. Digital marketing offers convenience to customers while solving marketing issues and making the process more effective and efficient. MSME development is a collection of initiatives aimed at bolstering the expansion of the business environment and supporting current companies so that small firms can grow into robust, self-sufficient, expanding, and sustainable enterprises. The methods used in this study are quantitative and descriptive. The Slovin formula and non-probability sampling techniques were used to select 125 business actor respondents from the 23,375 MSMEs that made up the study's population. Tests for validity, reliability, homogeneity, normalcy, linearity, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and correlation coefficients are some examples of data analysis techniques. The study's findings demonstrate that digital marketing has a major impact on MSMEs' growth in Manado City at the same time. It is known that digital marketing has a 54.5% influence on the growth of MSMEs in Manado City based on the correlation coefficient test. Advice for MSME participants: In order for their companies to grow and be sustainable, they should keep using digital marketing.

Abstract

With firm size acting as a moderating variable, the aim of this study was to provide empirical evidence of the impact of audit opinion and profitability on audit delay. 25 manufacturing companies in the agricultural sector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020–2022 served as the study's population. The company's annual financial statements are the source of the data. By using the purposive sampling method, the sampling technique produced 51 samples, or a sample of 17 companies with three years of observation.. Using the SPSS 25 program, this study employs moderation regression analysis and multiple regression analysis techniques with the MRA test approach. The study's findings show that audit opinion has no bearing on audit delay, profitability has no bearing on audit delay, and company size has the ability to considerably mitigate the impact of both profitability and audit opinion on audit delay.ficantly.

Abstract

This study examines heritage language maintenance, cultural identity formation, and language attitudes within the Tamil community in Medan, Indonesia. Employing ethnolinguistic identity theory and family language policy perspectives, it investigates factors influencing Tamil language transmission and its impact on ethnic identity. Surveys of 10 Tamil families reveal significant generational differences in attitudes towards Tamil maintenance. While 85% of parents view it as crucial for cultural preservation, only 50% of children share this sentiment, prioritizing societal assimilation. Both groups recognize the value of bilingualism and the cultural disconnection stemming from limited Tamil proficiency. Challenges including discrimination, insufficient community support, and inadequate resources hinder intergenerational language transmission. This study offers unique insights into the complex dynamics shaping heritage language maintenance in diasporic communities, highlighting the need for targeted interventions to support linguistic and cultural continuity.

Abstract

The novel "Rumah Kaca" by Pramoedya Ananta Toer is a literary work that depicts the complexity of the relationship between Dutch colonialism and Indonesian society during the colonial period. With a postcolonialism approach, this analysis explains how this novel shows the impact and legacy of colonialism on the daily life, politics, and identity of the Indonesian nation. Through powerful characters and stories, Pramoedya depicts the struggles and conflicts faced by indigenous peoples in opposing colonial oppression, as well as their efforts to maintain their cultural identity and local values. Thus, the novel "Rumah Kaca" is not only an alluring literary work, but also a source of inspiration and a deep understanding of the struggle of the Indonesian people in facing and overcoming the period of colonialism.

Abstract

This study examines how budgeting operational costs and cost control affect the financial performance of PDAM. Industry of clean water that will be distributed to the community, good performance is needed. This performance assessment is useful for information in making decisions. This study uses a quantitative method, by distributing questionnaires to 45 employees from 3 PDAM companies, this study also uses linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS application. Based on the results of the respondents' answers, it can be concluded that the operating cost budget has no impact on financial performance. However, what does have an impact on financial performance is cost control. Cost control allows the PDAM to improve service quality, and has a positive impact on long-term financial performance.
