Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer satisfaction and expectations regarding the 180 ml Vitanas pineapple fruit juice drink product packaging using the Kano Model method. The research was conducted in Pemalang Regency from June to July 2025, involving 50 respondents selected thru accidental sampling. Data was collected thru questionnaires and analyzed by grouping packaging attributes into must-be, one-dimensional, attractive, indifferent, or reverse categories. The research results show that brand attributes fall into the must-be category, while practical packaging, attractiveness and product information (nutritional information, composition, production date, and others) fall into the one-dimensional category, which has a significant impact on consumer satisfaction. The yellow packaging color falls into the attractive category. This finding provides strategic recommendations for the development of Vitanas product packaging to enhance competitiveness and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the increasing use of digital wallets, including ShopeePay, which is widely used by Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the role of ease of use, security, utility, and discounts on Generation Z's decision in using ShopeePay. The research uses a correlational quantitative method with the PLS-SEM approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique, and obtained 199 respondents who had used ShopeePay more than once. The results of the study show that security, usefulness, and discounts have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use ShopeePay, while ease of use does not have a significant effect. These findings confirm that Generation Z is more concerned about benefits, security, and discount benefits than the convenience that has become the basic standard of digital applications.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Multilevel Governance (MLG) in the implementation of the Sigending Ecotourism development policy and to examine how the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) international standards are adapted at the local level in Teluk Sulaiman Village. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy through in-depth interviews, observations, document studies, and data triangulation. Informants consisted of village and district governments, Pokdarwis, FORLIKA, and conservation NGOs. The results show that Sigending's governance has mixed MLG characteristics with a predominance of type II, marked by overlapping authorities, dependence on non-state actors, and limited technical capacity in the village. GSTC standards have not been socialized and have not been translated into regional technical instruments or village SOPs, resulting in a translation gap between global norms and local implementation. At the district level, tourism policies do not yet provide operational guidelines based on GSTC indicators, while at the village level, regulations are still in draft form and monitoring mechanisms are not yet based on sustainability standards. In conclusion, the successful implementation of sustainable ecotourism in Sigending requires formal cross-level integration, the development of GSTC technical guidelines at the district level, capacity building in villages, and permanent multi-actor coordination mechanisms.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of principal leadership and organisational culture on teacher performance, with work discipline as an intervening variable, in high schools across the Berastagi District. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed, utilising path analysis to examine the structural relationships between variables. The research involved a sample of 122 teachers selected from a population of 175 through simple random sampling. Data were collected using Likert scale questionnaires that were rigorously tested for validity and reliability. The findings reveal that principal leadership has a significant positive effect on both work discipline and teacher performance. While organisational culture significantly affects work discipline, it had a non-significant negative direct effect on teacher performance. Crucially, the analysis demonstrates that work discipline significantly mediates the influence of principal leadership and organisational culture on teacher performance. This indicates that discipline serves as the primary "bridge" connecting leadership and organisational values to optimal professional outcomes. The study concludes that the combination of inspirational leadership and a robust organisational culture depends largely on reinforcing discipline to foster a professional educational setting.
