Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of profitability, capital structure, and company size on dividend policy, considering the role of independent board of commissioners as a moderation variable. The object of the study is focused on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. The approach used is quantitative with the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) analysis method, based on 380 observational data from 76 selected companies using purposive sampling techniques. The findings of the study show that profitability has a significant negative impact on dividend policy, but the capital structure does not show a significant influence. On the other hand, the size of the company has a positive and significant effect. The independent board of commissioners does not moderate the influence of profitability or capital structure, but acts as a negative moderator in the relationship between company size and dividend policy.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on SME performance mediated by social media usage and absorptive capacity. Data were collected from 410 SME owners in Solok City using stratified random sampling based on six industrial sectors and analyzed with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation has a positive effect on SME performance, with social media use and absorption capacity acting as significant mediators. These findings indicate that SMEs should prioritize entrepreneurial behavior, social media usage, and absorption capacity in improving performance. This study contributes to the literature on SME performance by examining six industrial sectors that adopt and utilize social media usage and absorption capacity in mediating entrepreneurial orientation on SME performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes the feasibility of the construction of regular petrol stations in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan. The need for development arises due to the increase in the number of vehicles that is not proportional to the availability of fuel infrastructure. A quantitative approach is used through fuel demand analysis, RAB preparation, and economic evaluation with NPV, BCR, and Payback Period. The results show that Semoi Dua Village is strategic because it is on the path to IKN with high population growth. Fuel needs are estimated at ±311,000 liters per week. The project is economically feasible with a positive NPV of IDR 15 billion, a BCR of 1.3, and a payback period of four years. Petrol stations are considered prospective operationally and economically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in banking risk in Indonesia before and after the implementation of POJK No. 18/POJK.03/2016 concerning Risk Management for Commercial Banks. This study contributes to society and the banking world by increasing understanding of the importance of implementing risk management in maintaining the stability of the national financial system. The present research employs a comparative quantitative approach to analyze the differences in banking risk before and after the implementation of the POJK. Data collection was conducted utilizing secondary data obtained from bank financial reports and official OJK publications during the period 2009–2024. The findings of the research indicate significant differences in the NPL, BOPO, and NIM variables, while the LDR ratio does not show a significant difference with a significance level above 0.05. These findings provide a new perspective on the effectiveness of risk management regulatory policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines how e-Procurement implementation supports cost efficiency, strengthens sharia compliance, and addresses adoption challenges in Indonesian Islamic banks. Using a qualitative case study approach based on regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, annual reports, and technological practices, the research highlights a conceptual gap in integrating maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah within digital procurement. Findings indicate that procurement digitization lowers transaction costs and enhances sharia compliance through digital hisbah-based audits. The study’s novelty lies in proposing a techno-fiqh integrative model that aligns economic efficiency with maqāṣid principles. Practical implications include recommendations for regulatory refinement, digital sharia auditing, and blockchain-based contract validation.

Abstract

This research investigates the implementation of prophetic leadership model, comprising shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah, at Al-Mardliyah Islamic Boarding School in Jombang, and its implications for modern boarding school management and student character development. Through the employment of a qualitative case study methodology, data were procured via a combination of interviews, observational techniques, and documentary analysis. The study's results demonstrate that prophetic values are institutionalized in program planning, participatory implementation, and exemplary supervision, thereby forming an integrated management system. These values are manifested in curriculum development, digital outreach, managerial innovation, and collaboration with external institutions. The application of prophetic leadership has led to a transformation in the students' character, including improved discipline, integrity, communication skills, cultural ethics, and the ability to adapt to changing times. This study concludes that prophetic leadership is a practical, value-based management framework designed to modernize Islamic boarding schools, integrating spirituality and sustainability into their transformation into contemporary educational institutions. Implicitly, this model can be adopted as a strategic approach for other Islamic boarding schools that wish to enhance management quality while developing the holistic character of their students.

Abstract

This study analyzes how transformational leadership and self-efficacy influence employee performance at Perumda Tirtanadi KC Sunggal Medan, with employee innovativeness as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM on census data from 50 employees, the research evaluates both direct and indirect relationships. The results show that transformational leadership does not significantly affect employee innovativeness or performance, likely due to a highly structured, SOP-driven public sector environment. In contrast, self-efficacy has a positive and significant impact on both innovativeness and performance. Employee innovativeness also significantly improves performance and mediates the effect of self-efficacy on performance, but not the effect of transformational leadership. The study concludes that psychological factors—especially self-efficacy and innovative behavior—are more influential than leadership style in enhancing performance within regulated public utility organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of animated caricature media and vocabulary mastery on the ability of students in class X of MA Al-Kautsar Pekanbaru in writing anecdotal texts. Using a correlation quantitative method with 30 students as a random sample, data was collected through questionnaires and anecdotal writing tests. The results of the analysis showed that all instruments were valid and reliable, as well as normal and homogeneous distributed data. The t-test and the F-test showed a significance value of 0.000, while the regression coefficient test showed an effect of 95%. These findings show that animation caricature media and vocabulary mastery together contribute strongly to students' ability to write anecdotal texts.

Abstract

Landslide disasters are one of the risks that greatly threaten road stability, so proper handling is needed to solve the problem of landslides on national roads. The purpose of this study is to analyze the calculation of soil retaining walls using the manual method and Plaxis Software, in order to obtain a soil retaining wall that is safe to use, namely by calculating the stability of the soil retaining wall and the safety factors of the soil retaining wall. In addition, in the preparation of this study, data is needed to be used as material for processing analysis data such as soil data, dpt dimension data, spt data, rainfall data, drill log data, earthquake data The results of the analysis of manual calculations on the stability of type 1 and type 2 soil retaining walls show that the results are safe while the safety factor value  from the Software Plaxis analysis shows safe results.
