Abstract

Floods are one of the most frequent disasters that hit Indonesia, especially North Aceh District. Flood is a disaster that causes a lot of loss in the form of property and lives, disrupting the activities of the population. Therefore, flood disaster mitigation is important to be carried out by the government by involving the community to reduce the impact of flood disasters that occur so that this can reduce the number of flood risks. One of the efforts made by the government is a cooperative relationship between the government and the community to obtain optimal results. In reviewing flood mitigation efforts, a qualitative approach was carried out with research procedures that produced descriptive data. This descriptive data can be sourced from the local community and observable community behavior. Data collection was carried out by means of in-depth interviews. The results of the analysis show that there has been a flood mitigation effort from the government in the Krueng Keureuto area in the form of the current dam construction and cooperation with the community which is called community participation. This is done by inviting the community to be able to carry out flood disaster mitigation plans. Mitigation planning activities involving the community are carried out by studying and discussing things that might happen before the flood occurs, emergency response during the flood and post-flood recovery. Therefore, disaster mitigation is needed both structurally and non-structurally.

Abstract

Soil fertility is a determining factor for plant growth and production. For this reason, it is important to evaluate the status of soil fertility as a basis for soil management. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility by analyzing the nutrient content found in the soil in Parbalohan Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency. Survey and soil analysis methods are used to evaluate soil fertility status. Soil sampling is carried out for each land map unit (SPL) that has been determined from the mapping results. Principal component analysis to identify soil fertility consists of five main components including cation exchange capacity (CEC), base saturation (KB), C-organic content, P-total and K-total based on the criteria of the Bogor Soil Research Center (PPT) 1995. Results research shows that the status of soil fertility in Parbalohan Village, Simanindo District, Samosir Regency is low soil fertility. Limiting factors include soil reactions, acid pH and low KB can be corrected by adding calcite or dolomite lime. Soils with limiting factors for C-organic content and CEC can be improved by adding soil organic matter, manure and compost.

Abstract

This research investigates the patterns of representation in Joko Widodo’s corpus of presidential speech. The research method used is a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The data of the research are transcriptions of President Joko Widodo’s speech text in 2015 and in 2018. In order to be processed with a corpus analysis tool, the data is stored in a text file or .txt format with UTF-8 encoding. The instrument which is used in this study is AntConc. It also brings up words that often appear and keywords in the corpus and analyzes text patterns with certain letter arrangements. Regarding patterns in the text, several appear from words contained in the corpus. Among them are the existence of words that have prefixes, suffixes, prefixes and suffixes, and repetition. Further, from the frequency and keyword analysis, it can be seen that Joko Widodo is focusing his attention on achieving the goals for the Indonesian nation and state, both in the 2015 and 2018 speech texts. It can be concluded, therefore, that Widodo is consistent in his speech patterns. On the other hand, this may be considered a new breakthrough because the speech from 2018 uses the same speech patterns as the speech from three years earlier.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer on shallots (Allium cepa L.). This study used a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 2 factors. The first factor is chicken manure consisting of 4 levels, namely: K0 = Control (without treatment), K1 = 1.83 kg/plot (equivalent to 15 tons/Ha), K2 = 2.44 kg/plot (equivalent to 20 tons/Ha) and K3 = 3.05 kg/plot (equivalent to 25 tons/Ha). The second factor is POC consisting of 3 levels, namely: P1 = 3 ml/240ml water/plant, P2 = 6 ml/240ml water/plant and P3 = 9 ml/240ml water/plant. Data analysis used analysis of variance and Duncan test. The results showed that chicken manure had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per sample, number of tubers per plot, wet tuber weight per sample, wet tuber weight per plot, dry tuber weight per sample and dry tuber weight per plot. Increasing the dose of manure will increase the growth and production of shallot plants. Chicken manure has a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, dry bulb weight per sample and dry bulb weight per plot, but has no significant effect on the number of bulbs per sample, number of bulbs per plot, wet bulb weight per sample, wet bulb weight per plot. Chicken manure had a significant effect on the dry weight of bulbs per plot, but had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs per sample, number of bulbs per plot, wet bulb weight per sample, wet bulb weight per plot and dry bulb weight per sample.

Abstract

The Beginner Teacher Induction Program is an introductory activity at a particular school/foundation, the training covers all teaching and learning activities and an introduction to the structure of the organization that exists in that institution, both the school and the foundation. The concept of work/method of work of the induction teacher includes 3 actors, namely the novice teacher as the object, the accompanying teacher as the provider of material directions and assignments to the novice teacher, and the Educational Institution as the control/validation of the results of learning/introduction to novice teachers. This research was built by applying a web base with the use of online media. The results of this study are in the form of a web-based application that can be used as an information tool to prepare novice teachers to become professional teachers in carrying out the learning process and as a reference in getting to know organizational schemes in a related agency.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see how much influence the Level of Debt, Cash Flow Volatility, and Amount of Accruals have on Profit Persistence in Manufacturing Companies in the Various Industries Sub Sector in 2017-2021. The population in this study is the 2017-2021 Financial Statements for 9 Manufacturing Companies in Various Industrial Sub-Sectors, so the total sample is 45. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative method with secondary data so that it can describe each variable in this study. The data will be processed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Version 25. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis test, classic assumption test, coefficient of determination test, multiple linear regression analysis test, and uses a partial hypothesis test (t test ) and simultaneous test (F test) with a significance level of 0.05 . Based on the results of data analysis tests that have partially Debt Level has a negative and significant effect on Profit Persistence and Cash Flow Volatility has a negative but not significant effect, while the Accrual Amount has a positive and significant effect on Earnings Persistence., and the results of the study simultaneously stated that all independent variables significant effect on Profit Persistence simultaneously with the test results of the coefficient of determination showing an effect of 33.5%.

Abstract

Improving excellent human resources is an initiative that aims to develop and strengthen individual and collective potential within the BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency) organization to make it a leading global player in the fields of meteorology, climatology, geophysics and instrumentation. Excellent human resources in higher education institutions have the potential to conduct quality research and produce quality scientific publications. In this action of change, the integration of the STMKG Digital publication service program, both updating the E-Journal and building the STMKG PRESS publishing media as a single digital-based and indexed account, has been successfully carried out and is the key to the realization of a comprehensive publication information system. The integration of publication services is aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness in both indexing and digital documents. This transformation will encourage teams involved in this change action plan to collaborate more, effective communication, and writing literacy. The results of this change action are expected to be useful for STMKG's internal interests, namely to facilitate the accreditation preparation process, academic data collection, and the accreditation assessment simulation process. The benefits for BMKG are the implementation of the BMKG 2022-2024 strategic plan and the improvement of superior human resources towards 500 Doctorates and BMKG Global Player.
