Abstract

The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has grown rapidly over the past two decades, driven by increasing demand from the Muslim community for Sharia-compliant financial services, as well as supportive government policies. This article aims to analyze the development, challenges, and prospects of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia in 2023 and 2024, using a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data analysis. The results show that, although Islamic banking has achieved significant growth in terms of assets and customer base, challenges related to regulation, public literacy, and competition with conventional banks remain key obstacles. This study is expected to enhance understanding of the Islamic banking landscape in Indonesia and provide strategic recommendations for strengthening this industry in the future.

Abstract

Microteaching activities can prepare students who will become teachers to master pedagogical skills. The aim of this research is to see how students who will become teachers at Sunan Giri University Surabaya apply microteaching. It is hoped that the results of the analysis can help lecturers who are preparing students to become teachers and student teachers to anticipate standards that need to be improved. The role of microteaching in improving the teaching skills of prospective teachers is the subject of this research. Qualitative methods with literature studies were used. Data is collected by conducting relevant searches on academic platforms such as Google Scholar. The results of the analysis show that microteaching is an effective method for preparing students to teach systematically. This practice not only helps prospective educators master basic teaching skills, but also provides experience.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Islamic financial markets has brought significant attention to the dynamics of money markets, goods markets, and market equilibrium within the framework of Islamic economics. This study explores the interactions between these markets, focusing on the challenges and opportunities that arise in the application of Islamic principles in contemporary economies. The purpose of this study is to analyze how Islamic economic concepts, such as the regulation of money and goods markets and the distribution of wealth through Islamic financial instruments, can be applied to achieve market equilibrium. This qualitative study uses a desk-based research approach, analyzing literature and scholarly articles published from 2019 onwards to collect relevant data. The findings indicate that despite the growing potential of Islamic finance, significant barriers remain, including limited instruments in the money market, inconsistent halal certification processes, and challenges in wealth redistribution mechanisms. The study also highlights the potential role of technology, particularly blockchain, in increasing transparency and efficiency in these markets. The study concludes that with the right regulatory framework, increased technological integration, and stronger institutional coordination, Islamic economics can contribute significantly to achieving a more equitable and sustainable global economic system.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and social media has changed the way youth interact and access information. With more than 4.26 billion social media users worldwide, these platforms have great potential to raise awareness among youth on global issues such as climate change, human rights and social conflict. This study aims to explore how to optimize the use of social media as a tool to raise youth awareness of global issues. The methods used in this research include surveys and interviews with adolescent social media users as well as content analysis of various social media platforms. The results show that social media can be an effective tool in disseminating information and encouraging active participation of young people in social activities. However, challenges such as the spread of false information and bias are also recognized as challenges that need to be overcome. This study recommends strategies to use social media wisely, including collaboration with influencers, awareness campaigns and media literacy education. In this way, young people can act as agents of change, strengthen intercultural understanding and solidarity, and create a more inclusive and tolerant world.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara Agam with the aim of researching because of the lack of courage of students in asking and answering questions from teachers. In addition, when the learning process is taking place, there are still many students who play with their cellphones and do not pay attention to the teacher who is explaining in front, there are health factors that affect student learning activity, and students are also less motivated and less ready to show their seriousness in learning Islamic religious education. This is due to the lack of use of learning models that have not been able to foster enthusiasm and motivation in students in receiving the lessons given, in addition, the source of knowledge in this learning process is still dominated by teachers so that students rarely play an active role. This study aims to determine how much influence the discovery learning model has on the learning activity of class XI F.2 students in Islamic religious education subjects. This study is a quantitative study using the Quasi Experimental Design design. The sample in this study amounted to 33 people with the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample was class XI F.2. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis techniques using the Validity Test formula with the product moment correlation formula, Reliability Test with the Alpha Cronbanch formula, Normality Test Kolmogrov Smirnov statistical test, Homogeneity Test, and continued with Hypothesis Test. From the results of the research and data analysis, the calculation of the t test was obtained 0.0013 <0.005 at a significant level of sig value <0.005 so that the hypothesis stated that there was an influence of the discovery learning model on the learning activity of Islamic religious education students in class XI F.2 SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara Agam.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between educational policies and student motivation and academic achievement. In this study, school principals as educational leaders play a central role in implementing policies that impact the welfare of students and teachers, as well as the learning environment. The research method used is a qualitative literature study, with a focus on policy analysis involving curriculum components, education funding, teacher development, and equitable access to education. The research results show that educational policies designed taking into account the social and economic context can increase student motivation and contribute to academic achievement. Reward-based policies, access to technology, and strengthening synergy between school principals, teachers and parents have proven effective in creating a conducive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of learning high moral aqidah which is related to student compliance with school rules, but there are still some students who violate the rules and regulations. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching the correlation between learning outcomes of moral aqidah and compliance with rules at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The problem formulation in this research is: Is there a significant correlation between the results of learning moral aqidah with obedience to rules and regulations? This study aims to determine Correlation between learning outcomes of moral aqidah and compliance with school rules and regulations at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The hypothesis in this research is that there is a sufficient correlation with a level of 0.555 between the learning outcomes of moral aqidah with his compliance with school rules at MAN 2 Bukittinggi.The type of research used is correlational research. The population of this study was all class XI IPA MAN 2 Bukittinggi, totaling 149 students from five classes, with a sample of 30 students. This research data in the form of a questionnaire regarding compliance with the rules. The research results obtained r = 0.555 at a sufficient level. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which states that there is sufficient correlation between learning outcomes of aiqdah morals and obedience on school rules and regulations at MAN 2 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube social media account and its effectiveness as a medium of preaching for the spiritual generation Z. The problem in this study is how effective is Ustad Hanan Ataki's preaching through social media in influencing spiritual changes in Gen Z through the YouTube account @HananAttaki. This study aims to determine the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube social media account in preaching and see its effectiveness. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach by taking YouTube social media. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The sample in this study was taken by purposive sampling on followers of the @HananAttak account. The results of the study show that the role of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's YouTube account as a medium of preaching is quite good for followers because it can influence individual behavior in society such as getting information, insight and entertainment. The effectiveness of the preaching message through the YouTube account @HananAttaqi is very effective because it has entered the thoughts and feelings as well as actions or reactions of followers of the @HananAttak account who are considered passive and only receive the messages conveyed.

Abstract

This study analyzes the story of Rama and Sinta from the Hindu tradition with a Christian theological approach, focusing on philosophical meaning, sacrifice, and loyalty as universal values. Using the critical hermeneutic method, this study reveals that Rama's sacrifice reflects selfless love that is in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ, while Sinta's loyalty reflects the commitment of Christians to God. This discussion shows the cross-cultural relevance of Hindu narratives and Christian faith, as well as the importance of interfaith dialogue in enriching cultural theology. The results of the study indicate that the values in this story not only contribute to theological appreciation, but are also relevant in the development of value education in a multicultural society. This study confirms that the story of Rama and Sinta can be a source of inspiration for Christians to apply universal virtues such as sacrifice and loyalty in everyday life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perubahan kepemimpinan terhadap pengembangan sistem pendidikan dan peningkatan kualitas sekolah. Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor utama dalam menentukan arah dan strategi pengelolaan sekolah, terutama dalam menghadapi perlawanan modernisasi pendidikan. Kepemimpinan yang efektif dianggap mampu mengarahkan pengelolaan sekolah menuju tercapainya tujuan pendidikan yang optimal. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergantian kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan, efisiensi manajemen sekolah, serta peningkatan kualitas layanan pembelajaran. Pemimpin yang adaptif dan memiliki strategi visi mampu mendorong perubahan positif yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas siswa akademik dan non-akademik. Selain itu, kepemimpinan yang visioner dan kolaboratif terbukti dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru, keterlibatan siswa, serta kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap institusi pendidikan. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pengambil kebijakan pendidikan untuk mengoptimalkan peran kepemimpinan dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan berkualitas.Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan, Pengembangan Sistem Pendidikan, Mutu Sekolah, Inovasi Perubahan Pendidikan
