Abstract

This study aims to determine a staff attendance system at the Karawang District Fisheries Service. The attendance system at the fisheries service uses the fingerpint attendance that is currently in use, with the aim of increasing efficiency and accuracy in managing employee attendance data, as well as improving work performance and discipline. The practical work method used is the observative method. type of research that aims to describe or describe existing phenomena. The results of this study are to determine the attendance system and the development of an information technology-based attendance system that includes the use of hardware and software. This system is designed to make it easier for employees to record their attendance accurately and efficiently. The hardware used in this system includes an attendance machine with fingerprint recognition features and employee identification cards. The developed software has a user-friendly interface, enabling employees to register themselves, record daily attendance and view their attendance reports. Implementation of this system is carried out by installing hardware at the employee's work location and integrating it with software that is connected to a central database. After implementation, the system is tested and evaluated to ensure its performance is as expected. The results of this study indicate that the use of this employee attendance system can improve efficiency and accuracy in managing attendance data. With the use of information technology, the process of recording employee attendance can be done quickly and easily. This system also provides convenience in producing accurate and detailed attendance reports and can improve employee performance and discipline.

Abstract

Aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence employee job satisfaction at Artha stores. Through data collection through observation, surveys, interviews. So it succeeded in identifying that employee performance, work motivation, work environment have a positive influence on job satisfaction. To increase employee job satisfaction, companies need to pay attention to several factors. it is important for companies to pay attention to the work culture that is in it. A positive and inclusive work culture can create a supportive and motivating environment for employees. Good leadership also plays an important role in increasing job satisfaction. Leaders need to motivate employees by giving recognition and appreciation for the work done. In addition, they also need to ensure that employees have sufficient resources to complete their tasks properly. By paying attention to these factors, companies can create a better work environment, increase employee motivation, and ultimately increase their job satisfaction. This will have a positive impact on employee performance and overall company success.

Abstract

The influence of oversight of work discipline on employee performance in class IIA prisons in Karawang. This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and supervision on employee performance. The population in this study was collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that work discipline does not affect performance, supervision does not affect performance. But discipline by each other’s awareness and according to the rules that have been ordered.It is important to note that discipline does not mean a life without flexibility or creativity. Proper flexibility and the ability to adapt to new situations are also part of good discipline. Discipline helps a person maintain a balance between structure and freedom, so that he can achieve goals effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana kinerja BKPSDM Kabupaten Bogor, khususnya dalam penyediaan tenaga non-ASN. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara, kemudian data sekunder dari studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja BKPSDM Bogor sudah berjalan cukup baik dan efektif. BKPSDM Bogor sebagai lembaga percontohan memiliki Visi dan Misi untuk mewujudkan Kabupaten Bogor sebagai kota termaju, nyaman, dan beradab. BKPSDM Bogor juga bertanggung jawab terhadap tenaga kerja non-ASN yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Disisi lain adanya PP No 49 Tahun 2018 tentang Manajemen Pegawai Pemerintah Dengan Perjanjian Kerja seolah menjadi tantangan BKPSDM dalam menjalankan tugas birokrasinya. Namun pemerintah cukup bijak dengan tidak sekaligus mengadakan PHP massal, mengingat hal ini dapat berdampak secara langsung kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian BKPSDM Bogor cukup berhasil dalam memastikan bahwa masyarakat mendapatkan pelayanan yang baik, hal ini sejalan dengan konsep pendekatan Citizen's Charter.

Abstract

PT Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang is an engineering company engaged in fabrication, machining and stamping parts. PT Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang produces Stamping Parts, Fabrication Tanks, Ducting, Conveyors and Machining. With services that are supported by the strategic geographical location of the workshop and an adequate workshop area. The implementation of the company's activities raised in this practical work article is the Mechanism of Spending Warehouse Funds which aims to find out how the spending of warehouse funds with the constraints found in data input when we place orders with vendors is not the same as the actual arrival of goods. The research method used by the author is a qualitative method. In this case the observation of each company's activities is used as a research to solve existing problems, such as constraints on the use of warehouse funds with one solution which is ordering goods from vendors by proposing the company to place orders in a larger quantity so that they can maintain stability in demand. expected in the future, and can reduce the risk of shortage of goods.

Abstract

Given the current situation regarding the influence of age on the performance and discipline of employees in government agencies, it indicates a significant weakness in the human resources field, particularly in the department, affecting the system and implementation of work programs. The objective of this internship is to assess the improvement of discipline and its impact on job productivity from the perspective of age at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security (DISTAN) in Karawang. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive implementation method with the aim of creating a systematic, factual, and accurate overview based on the facts on the ground. The results of the analysis in this research indicate that each variable, namely compensation, work discipline, and motivation, partially have significant positive and negative effects on employee productivity in government agencies, especially at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security. Based on the intern's research findings during the internship at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security in Karawang, age significantly contributes to poor discipline and work productivity. As employees approach retirement or have been working for a long time, they tend to neglect their duties and even exhibit absenteeism. Employees also demonstrate a lack of competence in following instructions. In addition to the challenges faced by employees, there are also challenges with each farmer group showing a lack of enthusiasm in extension activities, thereby hindering the progress of extension activities.

Abstract

This research intends to explore Sundanese culture which is still preserved in a public elementary school in Cigereleng. The background of this research is to look at the daily activities of Sundanese culture carried out by students in preserving Sundanese cultural values, because with the development of a more modern era so that most students do not pay attention to Sundanese culture, the school applies Sundanese cultural values in every learning activity and also skills at SDN Cigereleng school. We collected data using observation and interview techniques with a resource person, namely the homeroom teacher of grade 6. To provide information related to this research data, we visited the Cigereleng Elementary School to collect data and students' work. The results of the study show that Sundanese cultural values in schools have begun to be implemented and have been running from 1999 to 2023 and have developed because there are new teachers who are competent in Sundanese culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the position and urgency of counseling guidance in educational practice. This research method uses literature review research methods (library research). Counseling guidance does have an important role and position for students. The role of guidance and counseling is very helpful in improving the quality of education. Because this guidance and counseling can help find solutions to problems that occur in the world of education. As it is well known that in educational activities in counseling guidance which is positioned as an integral part of the overall educational activities in schools in its implementation has several operational patterns, especially in the current situation where the function of schools or formal educational institutions is not only to equip students who are a pile of knowledge but also prepare students to meet the guidance of change and progress that occurs in  community. So the position of counseling guidance in education is a forum or institution to accommodate and solve student problems that cannot be accommodated and resolved by educators.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive understanding of database management and its role in modern business. The article also aims to introduce readers to various technologies and methods used in database management, as well as the stages involved in implementing database management. The author's method is literature review, a research method that involves collecting and analyzing data from literature sources such as books, journals, articles, and other documents to answer research questions. A database is a collection of related data stored together with controlled redundancy to serve one or more applications optimally. Data is stored independently of the program used to access it, and adding, modifying, and retrieving existing data is common and controlled. The article also defines a database as a logically related collection of data stored together, designed to meet the information needs of an organization, and as an electronic archive storage system. The article explains three database components, namely field, record, and file.

Abstract

Every workforce is an important asset in economic growth, but the segregation of sectors in the labor market keeps many women trapped in vulnerable and low-income informal labor. Therefore, this research aims to examine the influence of the female labor force on economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province, using quantitative methods and panel data regression analysis. The study involves variables such as Women as Professional Workers, Women's Income Contribution, Average Length of Schooling for Women, and Women's Life Expectancy, with data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The results indicate that these four variables do not have a significant impact on economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara Province.
