Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of code-mixing in the Maia Aleldul podcast, specifically in an episode featuring personal and emotional narratives from the interviewee. The objective of this research is to identify the forms and types of code-mixing that emerge and to analyze the sociolinguistic factors underlying them. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing listening and note-taking techniques on oral transcript data. The findings indicate that outer code-mixing between Indonesian and English predominates, with code-mixing occurring in the form of words and phrases. The contributing factors include emotional expression, communication style adjustment, bilingual identity, and the influence of digital media. These findings enhance the understanding of linguistic dynamics among urban digital natives.

Abstract

This study aims to predict flood risk in the Jakarta Province using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm. The model is designed to classify regions into three risk levels—low, moderate, and high—based on historical features such as water level and annual flood frequency. Data from 2013 to 2024 provided by the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) served as the basis for model training. The normalization process using Z-Score and Min-Max Scaling proved essential in enhancing KNN performance. Cross-validation (5-Fold Cross Validation) revealed that K=3 yielded the best results. The model achieved accuracy rates between 96% and 99%, with precision, recall, and F1-score exceeding 95%. These results demonstrate that KNN can reliably map flood risks based on numerical data trends. Predictions for the years 2026 to 2028 indicate an increased flood risk in several areas, particularly Central, North, and West Jakarta, which fall into the high-risk category. East and South Jakarta are classified as moderate to high risk, while the Thousand Islands region is expected to remain in the low-risk category. This model can be used as a foundation for developing data-driven mitigation strategies and early warning systems

Abstract

In power generation, voltage stability is a very important thing to consider because it can affect the electrical system. Changes in the output voltage of a generator are influenced by various factors including dynamic load and magnetic amplifier voltage (excitation voltage). In this final project, a 3-phase synchronous generator excitation voltage control system is created to maintain the stability of the generator voltage according to its rating of 380 volts. By implementing a PID controller, the size of the excitation voltage can be adjusted by changing the duty cycle of the PWM for switching the IGBT in the DC-DC converter power circuit of the buck-boost converter type. With the PID controller parameters Kp = 3, Ki-0.001, Kd = 0.001 and the excitation voltage that can be provided by the power circuit up to 130 volts dc, the system can be stable when there is a change in load. The recovery time to reach steady state is 1.3 seconds when loaded and 1.1 seconds when the load is removed.

Abstract

Good management of electrical loads from distribution substations will greatly affect the performance and reliability as well as continuity of installed load services. Related components include transformer capacity, conductors, safety devices, and so on. backup power supply source in case of blackout from PLN, then the harvester barracks in Marike have a standby generator. This generator is expected to be able to supply the electrical load in the palm oil harvester barracks area during the transfer from the main power source/PLN to the backup power source/generator. When PLN goes out, the generator will supply the load in the palm oil harvester barracks area of 65,000 Watts. The maximum load installed in each Harvester barracks in Marike reaches 2200 watts for 1 barrack, while the Harvester barracks in Marike have 17 barracks, so the total installed load reaches 2200 x 17 = 37,400 Watts. The total load installed as street lighting and the Harvester barracks area in Marike is = 2700 watts. The total load installed on Palm Oil Harvesters Barracks In Marikeis 50,125 VA. Maximum load + 20%. Generator capacity= 50,125 VA + (20% x 50,125VA) = 50,125 VA+ 10,025 VA = 60,150 VA (65 kVA). So it is calculated as 171.05A : 3 (Core) = 57.01A. So the protection used is worth 57 A. The size of the conductor with a current value of 57.01 A, then the diameter of the conductor needed is a NYY 35 mm2 conductor.

Abstract

This study explores the representation and integration of cultural values in traditional Chinese dance education through a comprehensive analysis of curriculum documents, arts education policies, and instructional materials. In the context of modernization and globalization, dance education faces critical challenges in preserving the depth of cultural meaning amid growing emphasis on performativity and competitive orientation. Employing a systematic literature review and document analysis, this research assesses the extent to which cultural values—including historical, philosophical, and socio-cultural dimensions—are embedded within the dance education system. Findings indicate that, despite notable integration efforts, the representation of cultural values remains limited and is often marginalized by a predominant focus on technical and aesthetic aspects. Key obstacles include resistance to pedagogical innovation and the dominance of performance-driven paradigms. Nonetheless, the study identifies innovative potential through interdisciplinary approaches and the utilization of digital technologies, which can revitalize the teaching and learning of traditional dance in a contextually relevant and adaptive manner. The pedagogical implications of effectively integrating cultural values include the reinforcement of students’ cultural awareness and identity, and the sustainable preservation of intangible cultural heritage. This research recommends the development of a holistic curriculum, the empowerment of educators, and cross-disciplinary collaboration as key strategies to enhance the role of traditional dance education in cultural preservation and the formation of a national identity aligned with contemporary developments.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online loans in recent years has offered quick and accessible financial solutions to the public, including women. However, this convenience comes with significant risks, particularly economic exploitation of women who often face barriers in accessing financial information and education. This study aims to analyze existing legal policies in preventing such exploitation through a gender justice approach. The objective is to identify gaps in current regulations, including limited access to information, inadequate legal protection, and the lack of gender-sensitive principles in policymaking. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores the socio-economic vulnerabilities of women in the online lending context and emphasizes the need for improved regulatory frameworks. The findings reveal that current legal instruments fall short in addressing gender-based disparities and fail to provide adequate safeguards for women borrowers. The study recommends policy enhancements focusing on strengthening financial literacy, improving oversight of online lending practices, and embedding gender justice principles into the regulatory structure. Additionally, it highlights the crucial roles of government, financial institutions, and community organizations in building a protective and empowering ecosystem for women. The conclusion underscores the importance of policies that are responsive to women's socio-economic conditions and promote equitable financial access. By advancing inclusive and gender-responsive legal reforms, the study aims to foster a safer and more just financial system that protects and empowers women in the digital lending landscape.
