Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Lamongan Branch Post. In its implementation, there are still several problems related to providing motivation and the application of leadership that cause the company's organizational system to not run optimally. Every employee is expected to have a high level of awareness of themselves and the work environment, but in reality not all employees are able to comply with regulations and show maximum work awareness. This study aims to determine the influence of leadership, motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Lamongan Branch Post. The research method uses a quantitative approach with research instruments in the form of questionnaires distributed to employees of PT. Lamongan Branch Post as a respondent. Based on the results of the t-test, it was obtained that the leadership variable (X1) had a calculated t-value of 3.985, the motivation variable (X2) of 3.079, and the work satisfaction variable (X3) of 2.936. All of these calculated t-values are greater than the table t-values of 1.987 so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that partially the variables of leadership, motivation, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at PT. Lamongan Branch Post. Simultaneously, the variables of leadership, motivation, and job satisfaction have also been shown to affect employee performance. This is shown from the results of the F test with an F value of 8.918 which is greater than the F of the table of 3.10 and a significance level of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The results of multiple linear regression analysis resulted in the equation Y = 7.761 + 0.468X1 + 0.266X2 + 0.117X3. Based on the value of the beta coefficient (β), the leadership variable (X1) has the greatest value compared to other variables so that it is stated as the most dominant variable affecting employee performance (Y) at PT. Lamongan Branch Post. Thus, it can be concluded that improving the quality of leadership will have a greater influence on improving employee performance than motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Market structure is a crucial factor influencing the effectiveness of a company's business strategy and operational efficiency. The differing characteristics of each market structure lead companies to implement different operational strategies in managing production, marketing, distribution, and cost control. This study aims to analyze how market structure contributes to improving the efficiency of a company's operational management. The study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, reviewing various national and international scientific articles discussing market structure and operational management. The results show that companies that are able to align their operational strategies with the characteristics of the market structure will achieve cost efficiency, increased productivity, better service quality, and greater competitiveness. Conversely, operational strategies that do not align with market conditions lead to inefficiency and decreased company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of oligopolistic market structure on the competitiveness of agribusiness Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang City. The oligopolistic market structure is characterized by the dominance of a few large business actors who have the ability to influence prices, distribution, and market behavior, thus creating intense competition for MSMEs. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was all agribusiness MSMEs in Padang City operating in the agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and agricultural product processing sectors. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS application. The results of the study indicate that the oligopolistic market structure has a significant influence on the competitiveness of agribusiness MSMEs. Competition from large companies encourages MSMEs to improve innovation, product quality, cost efficiency, and marketing strategies to survive in the market. Therefore, government support is needed through healthy business competition policies, access to financing, marketing digitalization, and increasing human resource capacity to strengthen the competitiveness of agribusiness MSMEs.

Abstract

Village cooperatives frequently face limited member literacy, weak participation, incomplete governance documentation, and low digital readiness. This study evaluates a Member Cooperative Learning (MCL) model designed to strengthen cooperative principles and institutional performance at Artha Kencana Cooperative in Cangkir Village, Gresik Regency. A descriptive qualitative design with a participatory research approach involved 90 members selected purposively from approximately 200 members across four business units. Data were collected through educational workshops, focus group discussions, simulations, participatory observation, interviews, document review, and a pre-test/post-test questionnaire covering cooperative identity, member rights and responsibilities, democratic governance, financial administration, and collective marketing. Quantitative evaluation data were summarized descriptively, while interview, observation, and document data were analyzed thematically and triangulated. Before the program, only about 30% of participants demonstrated adequate understanding of cooperative principles. After the intervention, 50.0% achieved a high knowledge category and 38.9% a moderate category. Participation in the Annual Members' Meeting exceeded 75%, three core governance documents were established, marketing channels expanded from one to at least three, average monthly sales increased from IDR 5.0 million to IDR 7.5 million, and the proportion of members operating independent or joint businesses rose from about 20% to more than 50%. The study contributes an integrated learning model that connects cooperative education with governance practice, digital financial recording, product marketing, and women's economic empowerment. Because the study involved one cooperative without a control group, the outcomes should be interpreted as program-associated improvements rather than definitive causal effects.

Abstract

Floods are one of the most common hydrometeorological disasters in Indonesia and have various impacts on people’s lives, infrastructure, the environment, and economic activities. These impacts are not only felt when the disaster occurs but also continue to affect the social and economic conditions of communities in the post-disaster period. Therefore, post-disaster management through rehabilitation and reconstruction is a crucial part of efforts to restore affected areas. The North Sumatra Provincial Government has enacted North Sumatra Provincial Regulation No. 8 of 2013 on Disaster Management as the legal basis for disaster management, including the rehabilitation and reconstruction phases. This study aims to analyze the implementation of rehabilitation and reconstruction policies based on North Sumatra Provincial Regulation No. 8 of 2013 following the November 2025 floods in Medan Barat District, Medan City. This study employed a literature review (library research) using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained by reviewing various sources, such as laws and regulations, scientific journals, books, government documents, and relevant previous studies. The analysis was conducted using George C. Edward III’s theory of policy implementation, which encompasses communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of rehabilitation and reconstruction policies is influenced by the effectiveness of inter-agency communication, the availability of resources, the commitment of policy implementers, and the clarity of the bureaucratic structure. However, policy implementation still faces obstacles in the form of budget constraints, suboptimal cross-sectoral coordination, and low community participation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen institutional capacity, improve coordination among stakeholders, and optimize the disaster management system to achieve more effective and sustainable post-disaster recovery.

Abstract

The principle of freedom of contract is a fundamental doctrine of contract law that allows parties to determine the terms of their agreements within the limits imposed by statutory law, public policy, morality, and good faith. In civil law systems, agreements are commonly formalized through notarial deeds to ensure legal certainty and strong evidentiary value. This study employs a normative legal approach by examining legislation, legal doctrines, and the regulatory framework governing notarial practice. The findings indicate that a notarial deed attains authentic status only when it complies with the formal and procedural requirements prescribed by law. However, its evidentiary authority does not validate agreements that suffer from defects of consent, lack of legal capacity, unlawful objects, or illegal causes. Such agreements remain subject to judicial review and may be declared void or voidable. This study concludes that freedom of contract and the legal enforceability of notarial deeds are complementary concepts: contractual autonomy governs the formation of agreements, whereas notarial deeds strengthen legal certainty without legitimizing contracts that violate substantive legal requirements.

Abstract

Teacher performance is one of the key factors determining the quality of education. However, preliminary observations conducted at Cluster I and Cluster II Public Elementary Schools in Pagaran District revealed low teacher work motivation, limited instructional innovation, and inadequate participation in Teacher Working Group (Kelompok Kerja Guru/KKG) activities. These conditions are presumed to be influenced by the democratic leadership style of school principals and teachers' work culture. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the principals' democratic leadership style on teacher performance, the effect of teachers' work culture on teacher performance, and the simultaneous effect of both variables on teacher performance in Cluster I and Cluster II Public Elementary Schools in Pagaran District. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 91 teachers, all of whom were selected as the research sample using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires based on a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analyses, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results revealed that the principals' democratic leadership style had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient of determination of 22.3% (F = 25.560; p < 0.05). Teachers' work culture also had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient of determination of 29.1% (F = 36.560; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the principals' democratic leadership style and teachers' work culture had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.566, a coefficient of determination of 32.0%, and an F-value of 20.714 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that better implementation of a democratic leadership style by school principals and a stronger teachers' work culture contribute to improved teacher performance.
