Abstract

Better teaching-learning practice ensures effective learning of scholars and further exhibits teachers’ skills and efficiencies in education. This research aims to analyze the teaching-learning practices of public universities in Bangladesh. This study followed the survey method for data collection and a complete of 98 questionnaires were analyzed giving a response rate of 90.74 percent. This study used convenience sampling for sample selection. The respondents of the study were the teachers from different faculties of public universities in Bangladesh. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The result indicates that the upper level of education within the country still follows the pedagogy sort of teaching. Among the respondents’ 59.2 percent haven't any idea about the andragogy sort of teaching and 71.4 percent haven't any idea about the heutagogy sort of teaching. Moreover, 44.9 percent of the respondents believe that students’ learning is assured through the pedagogy style. Simultaneously, Focus give-and-take (FGD) and Key Informant Interview (KII) methods were also applied for in-depth data collection. Finally, the study implications, limitations further suggestions are discussed accordingly during this report.

Abstract

Gamification is a strategy that integrates game elements into non-game contexts with the goal of motivating, engaging, and increasing user participation. Successful marketing campaigns not only attract attention but also build deeper interactions with consumers. This research aims to explore and analyze the impact of implementing gamification elements in marketing campaigns on consumer engagement. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the application of gamification in marketing campaigns is effective in increasing consumer engagement. A qualitative approach in understanding the target audience provides a solid foundation for designing relevant game concepts, while the integration of technology such as artificial intelligence provides a more personalized gamification experience. Attractive prizes and promotions effectively motivate participation, and two-way communication strengthens consumer engagement. Regular evaluation and rapid response to consumer feedback fosters continuous improvement, while building an online community creates a collaborative space that supports interaction between consumers. Overall, gamification strategies not only create engaging marketing experiences but also build sustainable and meaningful relationships between brands and consumers in today's digital marketing environment.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze effective human resource (HR) development strategies in the context of operational management. Rapid technological developments and market dynamics require organizations to carry out their operations with efficiency and agility. Human resources as a key element in the entire operational process need to be managed and developed optimally. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the implementation of Human Resources (HR) development strategies in the context of operational management has a positive impact on organizational performance. Through training and development initiatives, companies are able to improve employee qualifications and increase operational productivity. A recruitment process that considers operational needs supports the placement of employees according to their skills, contributing to efficiency and effectiveness. The use of information technology, such as performance management systems and HR data analysis, provides a better information basis for making operational management decisions. In addition, building an organizational culture that encourages innovation and supports employee career development creates a motivating and competitive environment.

Abstract

A strong brand image is a strategic key for companies in facing increasingly tight business competition. This research aims to investigate the role of storytelling in building a strong brand image in a marketing context. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that storytelling has a crucial role in strengthening brand image. First, storytelling is able to create deep emotional bonds between companies and consumers, evoke positive feelings, and stimulate strong emotional responses. It not only presents product information, but also forms an emotional experience that sticks in consumers' memories. Second, storytelling builds close connections between brands and consumers by presenting stories about the company's integrity, goals and vision. This creates closer relationships, strengthens trust, and increases consumer loyalty. Third, storytelling gives a brand a deep dimension and character, forming a unique brand identity and differentiating it from competitors. By detailing the company's unique aspects, values, and history, storytelling creates a lasting impression in the minds of consumers. Overall, storytelling strategies, such as data-driven, philanthropic, and customer-led storytelling, are not only effective marketing tools but also a strong foundation in strengthening and establishing a meaningful brand image.

Abstract

Sustainable agribusiness has become a major focus in response to global challenges related to environmental degradation and economic instability in the agricultural sector. This research aims to examine and apply the concept of sustainable agribusiness management to maintain a balance between ecological and economic aspects in the agricultural context. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the application of the concept of sustainable agribusiness management has a significant positive impact on the agricultural sector. Organic farming practices, polyculture, water use efficiency, and wise waste management are successful strategies in reducing negative impacts on the environment. In addition, the use of information and sensor technology, as well as precision technology in dosing inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides, has increased the efficiency of crop production while reducing waste. Empowering farmers through training, participation in decision making, and building fair partnerships in the supply chain also supports economic and social sustainability. Overall, this research provides a strong foundation for improving more sustainable agricultural practices, creating balanced ecological and economic sustainability in the agribusiness sector.

Abstract

In a competitive business era, companies are required to develop sophisticated talent management strategies to attract, manage and retain high-potential individuals. This research aims to investigate talent management practices that are effective in recruiting and retaining high performing employees in the work environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that implementing talent management strategies that focus on employee development, creating a positive work environment, and increasing open communication contribute significantly to talent retention in an organization. Employees who feel valued, have opportunities for career growth, and are involved in the company's shared goals tend to be more satisfied and engaged. These factors, such as a pleasant work experience, effective communication, and alignment of company values with mission, have a positive impact on employee satisfaction levels and play a role in maintaining workforce stability and productivity. Thus, the research results support this strategy as an effective approach in grooming and retaining high-performing talent in an organization.

Abstract

The characteristics of management accounting information systems can be influenced by Business Strategy and Environmental Uncertainty. Business Strategy in the Company has been implemented and is running well. In addition, the ability to predict the level of environmental uncertainty owned by employees of PT Multi Garmen Jaya is good. This research was conducted, aims to determine how much influence business strategy and environmental uncertainty have on the characteristics of management accounting information systems at PT Multi Garmen Jaya. The methods used in this research are descriptive and verification methods. The population taken for this study were employees of PT Multi Garmen Jaya. Sampling was done by probability sampling with simple random sampling technique with a sample of 37 respondents. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data processing techniques using statistical test modelling with the Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) version 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that: 1) business strategy affects the characteristics of management accounting information systems. 2) environmental uncertainty affects the characteristics of management accounting information systems.

Abstract

The existence of the industrial sector and oil palm plantations can be a driving force for the local community's economy, but the existence of the industrial sector and oil palm plantations does not always have a positive impact, but has a negative impact on the surrounding community, especially the workers who work on the plantation. This study aims to determine the environmental impact for workers working in oil palm industry and plantations. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results show that the history of the opening of oil palm plantations is in order to create jobs, improve the living standards of the surrounding community and of course improve the country's economy through foreign exchange earnings. However, the existence of oil palm industry and plantations does not always have a positive impact but also has a negative impact, especially environmental health for the community and workers where there is a decrease in the quality and quantity of clean water, pesticide poisoning, the emergence of diseases caused by the industry and oil palm plantations.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the legal responsibility attached to expedition companies related to loss of goods in the delivery process and its impact on consumers. The phenomenon of lost goods during delivery often raises questions regarding the legal obligations of expedition companies in compensating for losses experienced by consumers. This research uses normative and empirical legal research methods by exploring data through interviews with related parties and analysis of relevant legal documents. The research results show that cargo and expedition companies have strong responsibilities in the distribution of goods based on legal grounds, such as Article 91 of the Commercial Code and the Consumer Protection Law. Responsibility involves aspects such as security, quality assurance, and correct information to consumers. Law Number 22 of 2009 emphasizes the responsibility of public transportation companies for consumer losses during the delivery process. The dispute resolution process can be carried out peacefully through conciliation, mediation or arbitration, before involving the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency or court. If a violation occurs, consumers can file a civil lawsuit in accordance with Articles 1244-1245 of the Civil Code to enforce their rights. In addition, expedition companies that provide insurance can be considered a form of legal protection in accordance with the insurance principles regulated by Law Number 2 of 1992.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study, which aims to determine: 1) the influence of accountability on the quality of internal audit, 2) the influence of auditor independence on audit quality. internal, and 3) the influence of accountability and independence on the quality of internal audit. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling technique or census, all members of the population are sampled so that there are 45 respondents. The tests carried out in this study include descriptive statistics, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality test, heteroscedasticity test and, multicollinearity test), multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test, t test, and f test which processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software for Windows version 26. The results of this study show that 1) there is an influence of accountability on the quality of internal audits. 2) there is an influence of auditor independence on the quality of internal audits. 3) there is an influence of accountability and independence of auditors on the quality of internal audits.
