Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kendala guru dalam pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19 di SMP Negeri 3 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2020/2021. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru, kepala sekolah dengan jumlah 5 orang. Instrument pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 (empat) guru, kepala sekolah di SMP Negeri 3 Medan dan peneliti sendiri. Sesuai fokus masalah penelitian ini ditemukan hasil penelitian sebagai simpulan: (1) Kendala dalam perencanaan pembelajaran daring yang pertama yaitu, siswa yang tidak memiliki perangkat handphone atau laptop. Siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Medan berjumlah 352 orang siswa, dan siswa yang tidak memiliki perangkat handphone atau laptop berjumlah 31 (08,8%) orang. Yang kedua, minimnya metode dan model pembelajaran yang guru gunakan. Yang ketiga, jaringan internet yang tidak stabil. Yang keempat, guru tidak memilih media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan pembelajaran daring, dari keempat guru yang mengisi angket terdapat 3 (75%) orang guru yang tidak memilih media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan pembelajaran daring. Yang kelima, guru kurang memahami teknologi karena umur yang sudah menua. Yang kelima, materi suit diterima siswa. (2) Kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang pertama yaitu, pembelajaran tidak efektif. Yang kedua, pembelajaran daring tidak berjalan dua arah. Yang ketiga, terdapat 12 (03,4%) orang siswa tidak mengikuti pembelajaran daring dari keseluruhan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Medan yaitu 352 orang. Yang kelima, pembelajaran cenderung tugas online. Yang keenam, guru tidak tahu menghadapi masalah pembelajaran daring di luar kebijakan sekolah. (3) Kendala dalam evaluasi pembelajaran daring yang pertama yaitu, nilai-nilai siswa yang rendah saat pembelajaran daring. Yang kedua, guru tidak mengetahui apakah tugas dan ujian yang dikerjakan oleh siswa benar-benar mereka pahami atau hanya copy paste 100% dari internet. Yang ketiga. siswa tidak mengerjakan tugas tepat waktu.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an expository writing text module with an expository genre approach. The study used the 4D research and development method by Thiagarajan. The stages of this research method are carried out at the stage of defining, designing, and developing without conducting the dissemination stage. The data consisted of primary and secondary data. The secondary data were taken from articles from relevant previous studies, and books. While the primary data are taken directly from experts in the form of an assessment of teaching material products. The study used the documentation techniques. The study used questionnaire to collect data. Then the collected data will be analyzed by using the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. Through the assessment of material experts, the resulting module received a final score of 3.88 as very valid criteria, and the overall average score of the product design assessment by design experts was 3.67 as very valid criteria. Based on these results, it is concluded that the prototype of the explanatory text writing module with visual media developed is valid and feasible to be tested for the next stage, namely the dissemination stage.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the development process, practicality, validity, and feasibility of using an android-based learning evaluation tool through the quizizz application on "Poetry" material in class X SMA. This research was conducted in SMA Nurul Amaliyah Tanjung Morawa. The research used Research and Development method (R&D) with a 4D model developed by Thiagarajan which includes 4 stages, including: Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination with a population of 83 students. Sampling in this study used a random sampling technique through lottery, so that there were 28 students used as samples. The data in this study include qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative was obtained through interviews and comments and suggestions given by validators, while quantitative data was obtained through data collection in the form of distributing questionnaires to validation of material experts, media/design, teachers and student response, totaling 28 students in using learning evaluation tools based on android through the quizzz application.The results obtained are (1) an explanation of the process of developing learning evaluation tools through the resulting product in the form of a guidebook for the using of evaluation tools, (2) based on the validity test of the using of evaluation tools through material validators and media/design experts, obtained total values as 85.29% with "valid" qualifications, and the overall value of media/design expert validation as 90.15% with "very valid" qualifications, (3) based on the feasibility test of using evaluation tools conducted by two teachers of Bahasa Indonesia obtained an overall score as 91.2% with a “very decent” qualification, (4) while the practicality test of the evaluation tool through the assessment of the student response questionnaire obtained as 87.16% with "very practical" qualifications with various positive responses given by students. It can be concluded that the android-based learning evaluation tool through the Quizzzz application is very practical and suitable to be used.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the ability to write job application letters for students of class XII MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu and to find out whether cooperative learning with the Think-Pair-Share model can improve the ability to write cover letters for students of class XII MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. . The benefit of this research for students is to increase knowledge and insight in writing job application letters. The benefits of this research for teachers are: as an effort to offer new innovations in how to learn to write job application letters, as an effort to motivate students in writing job application letters, and as an effort to improve performance, abilities, and professionalism in improving the quality of learning in the classroom. The benefit of this research for researchers is to broaden knowledge and provide learning experiences that foster research abilities and skills as well as broader knowledge. This study uses classroom action research (action research) in two rounds (cycles). Each round consists of four stages, namely: planning, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the students of class XII MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pancur Batu. The data obtained in the form of subjective test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

A literary work is an expression of experience, an emotional outpouring of human souls, feelings and thoughts expressed in the form of a work in the form of poetry, or other literary genres. Stylistics part of the diction is related to individual expressions or characteristics that have a high artistic value. With language style we can judge the person, disposition and abilities of a person who uses language. Then it can be said that diction and stylistics are the foundation for an author to produce beautiful poems. The problem in this study is how the use of diction and language style in ten collections of facebook poems by Tarsy Asmat series liberation wings. The result obtained from this study is the use of several types of diction with a total of 50 data, which includes: (1) the connotation of 23 data (2) denotation 4 data. (3) common words 1 data, (4) special words 7 data, (5) abstract words 3 data, and (6) use indria 12 data. (As for the language style, there are 55 data which include: (1) personification style 24 data, (2) hyperbolic style 8 data, (3) metaphorical language style 8 data, (4) climax language style 5 data (5) repetition language style 3 data, (6) simile language style 5 data, (7) paradoxical language style 1 data, (8) sarcasm language style 1 data. With this research, it is hoped that it can increase knowledge for literary lovers about the extent of the role of diction and the style of language to produce a beautiful literary work of poetry. Because diction and stylistics are part of the element of beauty in literature.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi di kelas VIII SMP Kristen 2 Amarasi diketahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis puisi belum optimal. Siswa cenderung memilih diksi yang kurang tepat, keberanian siswa mengungkapkan ide masih kurang serta perolehan hasil menulis puisi 10 dari 20 siswa belum mencapai KKM yaitu 67. Dengan kendala tersebut, guru harus mampu memilih teknik yang tepat untuk pembelajaran menulis puisi. Salah satu teknik yang tepat yaitu teknik akrostik, oleh karena itu subjek penelitian ini adalah mengkaji kemampuan siswa menulis puisi pada kelas VIII SMP Kristen 2 Amaarsi melalui penerapan teknik akrostik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen 2 Amarasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dan tes. Keseluran data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui tahap-tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pratindakan dalam menulis puisi tergolong masih kurang. Setelah tindakan dilakukan dengan penerapan teknik akrostik dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran menulis puisi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sedang hingga baik sekali. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik akrostik dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi dapat meningkatkan kompotensi siswa dalam keterampilan menulis puisi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui apa tema pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. (2) Mengetahui bagaimana alur pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. (3) Mengetahui siapa saja tokoh pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. (4) Mengetahui bagaimana latar pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. (5) Mengetahui apa dan bagaimana gaya bahasa pada novel “Hijau”karya Agnes Jessica. (6) Mengetahui bagaiamana sudut pandang pengarang pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. (7) Mengetahui bagaimana amanat yang terdapat pada novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. Adapun Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena data penelitian dideskriptifkan melihat kenyataan sesungguhnya yaitu dalam bentuk tulisan dan diperoleh pembahasan secara objektif dan mendalam tentang Analisis unsur-unsur intrinsik novel “Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Tema yang terdapat dalam novel “ Hijau” karya Agnes Jessica yaitu Perjuangan yang tak abis-abisnya demi mewujudkan mimpi dan cita-cita yang sangat mulia. (2) Alur atau plot yang terdapat dalam novel “ Hijau” Karya Agnes Jesica merupakan alur campuran. (3) Tokoh dan penokohan terdapat sembilan belas tokoh dan memiliki penokohan yang sama dengan penokohan protagonis. (4) Latar yang terdapat pada novel “ Hijau” Karya Agnes Jesica memiliki latar yang berbeda-beda, adapun latar waktu yaitu malam, pagi, siang hari, dan sore .sedangkan latar suasana yaitu sedih, bahagia , senang dan menyedihkan dan latar tempat yaitu Dusun karang Mulyo, Pemakaman Desa, Stasiun, Rumah sakit, Gereja, Apartemen , Mall, Dusun Kecil. (5) Sudut Pandang yang terdapat pada novel “ Hijau “ Karya Agnes Jesica adalah sudut pandang orang ketiga dan sudut pandang orang pertama. (6) Gaya bahasa yang terdapat pada novel “ Hijau” Karya Agnes Jesica adalah majas simile, majas sinisme, majas hiperbola, majas asosiasi, amjas repetisi, amjas metonimia dan majas metafora. (7) Amanat yang terdapat pada novel “ Hijau “ Karya Agnes Jesica adalah Hendaklah kita memiliki iman dan keyakinan kepada Tuhan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita dan harapan kita dalam kehidupan kita.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the expressive approach to the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The analysis in this study is the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan. The formulation of the problem discussed in this study is how the novel "Beautiful Is a Wound" is analyzed with an expressive approach. This study used qualitative descriptive methods to collect data conducted using the recording technique method. Based on the data collection method used, the data will be analyzed by reading the novel, understanding the content of the novel carefully, looking for imagination, emotions, expressing the author's ideas and psychology, and then collecting them into one data according to their classification. . The data in this study is in the form of text in the novel that shows the author's expressiveness. The results of this study found the form of the author's expression in the novel "Cantik Itu Luka" by Eka Kurniawan, namely how the author can show his expression.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan tema novel “Kambing Jantan” karya Raditya Dika. (2) Mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis gaya bahasa yang sering digunakan pada novel “Kambing Jantan” karya Raditya Dika. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang merupakan penelitian bersifat deskriptif. Khususnya dalam kasus tentang analisis tema dan gaya bahasa pada novel “Kambing Jantan” karya Raditya Dika. Hasil dari penelitian ini meliputi: Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian maka penulis memberikan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Dapat diketahui bahwa tema dalam novel “Kambing Jantan” karya Raditya Dika terdapat dua jenis tema yaitu tema mayor dan minor. (2) Selain menuliskan novel “Kambing Jantan” Raditya dika juga menulis novel yang lain yaitu Cinta Brontosaurus Manusia Setengah Salmon. (3) Hasil analisis novel “Kambing Jantan” karya Raditya Dika terdapat berbagi jenis-jenis gaya bahasa yang mencakup, bahasa gaul, majas hiperbola, majas personifikasi.
