Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to write persuasive paragraphs in class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Binjai. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The research sample was carried out at random (random sampling) so that the sample was obtained, namely class VIII-1, which consisted of 40 students. Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that the Ability to Write Persuasive Paragraphs of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 6 Binjai with the average score obtained is 72. Thus, it can be seen that students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Binjai are quite capable of writing persuasive paragraphs, this can seen from the average value obtained by these students.

Abstract

The study aims to explore how lecturers enhance learners’ autonomous learning. Autonomous learning is a process to be aware of taking control of learning. This study used a case study and a content analysis in the qualitative research. A qualitative approach is chosen as research design with the help of Nvivo 12 Apps since interviews become the main instrument. Some interview items questioned how lecturers help learners comprehend the material, determine their personal goals, finding out supporting resources. The study reveals that the lecturer activities as the initial activities were giving the material explanation, giving information about the course outline, giving assignments, giving what students need, giving motivation, having a negotiation, having references of material, sharing experiences, checking students’ comprehension by reviewing, giving question and answer time. Yet, giving assignments individually or in collaboration, projects or incidental test becomes a proposed activity in the initial process to enhance learners’ autonomous

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas permasalahan pembentukan akronim kuliner di Jawa Barat. Tumbuh pesat akronim di berbagai bidag termasuk di bidang kuliner di Jawa Barat tidak dapat di cegah pertumbuhannya. Hal ini menarik sebagai dinamika dan kreativitas pembentukan kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian dalam kajian ini, adalah deskriptif kwalitatif. Data diperoleh dari laman online : cekaja.com, Axan.kuliner.com, cuanki@2019Merdeka.com dan www.idntimes.com. Data diambil pada bulan april 2022, dengan mengumpulkan 20 akronim kuliner dari Jawa Barat. Data di dideskripsikan sesuai bagaimana keadaannya untuk dianalisis dengan mengacu kepada Kridalaksana ( 2007 ). Akronim dianalisis satu persatu, kemudian dikelompokkan berdasarkan kesamaan cara pebentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, terlihat pembentukan akronim kuliner di Jawa Barat sangat bervariasi. Dari 20 akronim kuliner di Jawa Barat dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 4 kelompok yang mempunyai kesamaan pembentukan. Proses pembentukan 1) pengekalan suka kata + suku kata dari komponen yang dikekalkan, 2 ) pengekalan suka kata + pengekalan huruf dari komponen yang di kekalkan, 3, pengekalan huruf awal dari komponen yang di kekalkan, 4) pengekalan ini unik, kombinasi dari ketiga proses pebentukan di tambahkan dengan awalan atau kata penghubung – di, ketika diucapkan, namun tidak terlihat ketika dituliskan atau disebutkan akronimnya. Keunikan dari kajian ini, Adanya akroim yang dikekalkan dari komponen yang ada sepenuhnya.

Abstract

Beberapa desain e-learning untuk kegiatan pembelajaran telah dilakukan oleh para desainer pembelajaran dengan kualitas yang berbeda-beda. Dalam penelitian ini, model dirancang berdasarkan Analisis Situasi Sasaran, Analisis Situasi Pembelajaran, Analisis Situasi Sekarang, dan Analisis Sarana. Studi ini mengusulkan model baru untuk mata kuliah Intensive Reading dengan e-learning Moodle sebagai upaya untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara kebutuhan dan masalah dalam proses pembelajaran intensive Reading. Pada model usulan ini dilakukan tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan pembelajaran dengan e-learning, dan pengembangan e-learning dengan aplikasi Moodle. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi terhadap sistem dan penerapannya, untuk melihat bagaimana kinerja sistem ini dan kegunaannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Model yang diusulkan menggunakan desain penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini meliputi penyusunan proses pembelajaran mata kuliah membaca intensif, analisis desain, dan konstruksi konten berbasis pengetahuan dimana desain didasarkan pada pendekatan pendidikan universitas di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak : Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis dan makna majas metafora dalam kumpulan puisi karya Bara Pattyradja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah data tulis berupa kutipan baris dan bait yang mengandung majas metafora. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori stilistika. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakkan bahwa jenis majas metafora yang terdapat dalam puisi-puisi Bara Pattyradja meliputi: (a) metafora bercitra antropomorfik, (b) metafora bercitra hewan, (c) metafora konkrit ke abstrak, (d) metafora sinestesia. Makna majas metafora dalam kumpulan puisi Bara Pattyradja ialah makna konotasi. Kata kunci: Majas, metafora, puisi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of a gap between the concept of Grice's cooperative principle and its application in the culture of the Riau people. The problem in this research is what is the reason for the violation of the maxim of manner in the culture of the Riau people? This study uses a qualitative approach with the grounded theory method. Informants in this study amounted to 79 informants who came from a number of districts in Riau and Riau Islands. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three stages, namely: open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The conclusion of this research shows that cultural differences make Grice's principle of cooperation, especially the maxim of manner, not universally applicable to all languages. There are a number of reasons for violating the maxim of manner, namely reasons of politeness, confusion in giving answers, forgetting, nervousness, empathy, avoiding direct speech, secrets, substitute vocabulary, pleasantries, pleasantries, lying, habits, and upset/angry. Violation of Grice's cooperative principle is not a bad thing, in fact the violation occurs because of the cultural influence that exists in the language. The violation of Grice's maxim of cooperation in a language is a manifestation of the actual principle of cooperation in that language.

Abstract

The problems raised ini this study are (1) how is the ambiguity of the Sikka dialect of Sikka Krowe in the Tana Duen village community, Kangae sub-district, Sikka districth (2) what is the meaning of ambiguity in the Sikka Krowe dialect Sikka language in the Tana Duen village community, Kangae sub-district, Sikka district. As for the purpose of this research is qualitative research. Thr purpose of the approach is to describe of the data directly in the fielf. The theory used in this research is semantic theory. Based on the resullts of the researrch on the ambiguity of the Sikka dialect of Sikka Krowe language in the Tana Duen village community, Kangar District, Sikka regency, there are 3 ambiguities, namely ambiguity at the phonetic level, grammatical level, and lexical level.

Abstract

The problem of speech delay in children is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately because it is one of the most common causes of developmental disorders in children. Several studies in several countries state that about 6 to 8% of preschool children have speech delay problems. Speech delay can be seen from the accuracy of word use, which is characterized by unclear pronunciation and in communicating can only use sign language, so that parents and people who those around him are less able to understand the child, even though the child can actually understand what people are talking about. This speech delay will not only affect the social and personal adjustment of the child, but can also affect the academic adjustment of the child. The method used in the implementation of this service activity is through the method of socialization and simulation approaches in the form of lectures and demonstrations. This service activity was carried out aiming to explain the factors that affect speech delay in children and also the treatment given by parents, teachers and the environment in response to this problem. have their own understanding in dealing with children who are late to speak and design a concept model for developing language skills for children who are late. In the end, the team of service implementation activities through this activity hopes that Nurul Hasanah's teachers can improve students' language development, knowledge and skills in presenting learning that is more attractive to students in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan ansietas tokoh dalam novel Cermin Buram Rambu Tentang Gerhana Kehidupan Karya Dony Kleden. Adapun yang digunakan ialah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penggunaan pendekatan ini didasarkan pada pertimbangan bahwa data yang diperoleh berupa kata-kata dalam bentuk kalimat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kepustakaan, dan dilengkapi dengan teknik teknik baca, garis bawah, dan catat kata-kata. Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Psikologi Sastra Sigmund Freud dalam Dinamika Kepribadian. Hasil tulisan membuktikan bahwa Novel Cermin Buram Rambu Tentang Gerhana Kehidupan Karya Dony Kleden terdapat ansietas realitas tokoh yaitu ansietas realitas terdapat ansietas realitas khawatir, takut, tidak nyaman, tidak nikmat, ketakutan, dan kegelisahan. Kata Kunci: Ansietas Realitas, Tokoh dan Novel. Abstract: This paper aims to find and describe the anxiety of the characters in the novel Mirror Blur Rambu About the Eclipse of Life by Dony Kleden. As for what is used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The use of this approach is based on the consideration that the data obtained are in the form of words in the form of sentences. The method used in this research in the library method, and is equipped with reading, underlining, and note-taking techniques. The theory used is Sigmund Freud Theory of Psycological Literature in Personality Dynamics. The results of the paper prove that the novel Mirror Blur Rambu About the Eclipse of Life by Dony Kleden contains anxiety about the reality of the characters, namely reality anxiety, there is reality anxiety of worry, fear, discomfort, and anxiety. Abstract

This final project uses the grammar of the halliday functional because sequentially this text is studied in terms of the language the text functions, and the way the function relates to the context; which includes the context of the situation and the cultural context. This final project aims to present the context of the situation and the cultural context contained in the sonnet. This final project aims to describe the metafunction meaning contained in the sonnet, to describe the context of the situation reflected in the metafunction analysis, and finally to describe the cultural context. Data sources include words, phrases, sentences, and events in the sonnet. the following is the data collected. Read the text carefully and repeatedly, identify data related to the topic, classify the data into two groups, namely the meaning of metafunction, and the context of the situation and cultural context. The data were analyzed by determining the ideational, interpersonal and textual meanings, then this context as classified in the previous steps. Based on the analysis that has been studied, the context of the situation contained in the metafunction analysis shows: the field is a love poem with social activities that tells about a friend; the tenor is a connoisseur of love, a fan of its light, and on a metaphorical level, man to God; The mode is not a verbal-visual channel, it is text written to be said aloud with one-sided dialogue and an invisible recipient. In this cultural context, the aim is to express admiration, the structure begins with comparison, explanation and contradiction in the middle, and ends with affirmation, and the structure of the sonnet has linguistic characteristics indicating that the genre of this text is literary; poetry in sonnet form.
