Jurnal Sahid Mengabdi : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Institut Agama Islam Sahid Bogor merupakan salah satu pengamalan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni budaya secara langsung kepada masyarakat secara kelembagaan melalui metodologi keilmuan sebagai perwujudan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat juga merupakan tanggung jawab yang mulia dalam upaya mengembangkan kemampuan masyarakat khususnya di sekitar kampus, sehingga partisipasi dalam percepatan laju pertumbuhan demi tercapainya tujuan pembangunan nasional. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen dapat terdokumentasi dengan baik melalui keluaran penulisan karya ilmiah pengabdian kepada masyarakat, untuk pengembangan penulisan dan publikasi penulisan karya ilmiah.

Abstract

This community service project aims to analyze the effectiveness of mentoring based assistance in implementing religious moderation to strengthen madrasah management and improve educational quality at MAN 2 Bogor. The main issue is the limited integration of religious moderation values in governance practices that remain normative and unsystematic. The study applies a participatory and collaborative approach through mentoring stages including needs analysis, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reflection. Results show a significant improvement in integrating religious moderation values into management functions including planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. In addition, teachers and staff demonstrate improved understanding of moderation indicators such as tolerance, national commitment, anti radicalism, and accommodation of local culture. The mentoring process also fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and adaptive organizational culture. These findings confirm that participatory mentoring effectively strengthens madrasah management and improves educational quality.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to realize pesantren economic independence through strengthening entrepreneurship-based management at boarding school pesantren in Pamijahan District. The program was motivated by limited business governance capacity, weak business planning, poor financial administration, and low utilization of local economic opportunities. The method employed Participatory Action Research (PAR) through needs mapping, FGD, training, intensive mentoring, program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The results showed improved managerial competence, indicated by the formulation of business roadmaps, business organizational structures, SOP, financial recording systems, and digital marketing strategies. In addition, partners initiated business diversification based on local potential and community networks. This program proves that participatory mentoring effectively strengthens pesantren economic institutions. The implication of this activity is the availability of an innovative, adaptive, and sustainable pesantren empowerment model to support the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia priority program on Pesantren Independence and the improvement of national Islamic education quality.

Abstract

This community service article reports a face-to-face training program held on 26–28 January 2026 in Cibuntu Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The participants were local MSME actors and home-based food processors in the village. The program aimed to improve participants’ knowledge and skills in strengthening the marketing quality of home-processed products and MSMEs. The implementation stages included socialization, pretest, material delivery, practice and mentoring, posttest, and evaluation. Based on observation, activity documentation, and evaluation sheets, the program improved participants’ understanding of branding, packaging, digital promotion, and simple business bookkeeping. This activity shows that practical and contextual assistance can support village economic empowerment and strengthen small-scale community businesses.

Abstract

Effective household financial management is a key factor in achieving family welfare. Low levels of financial literacy among housewives can lead to family economic instability, consumptive behavior, and an inability to deal with unexpected financial risks. This community service program aims to improve the financial risk management capabilities of housewives in Bukit Duri, South Jakarta, through training in the Kakeibo method—a traditional Japanese financial recording and management technique. The implementation methods included interactive lectures, practical demonstrations of Kakeibo budgeting, and continuous mentoring. This activity involved 50 participants from the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group. Evaluation results from pre-tests and post-tests showed a significant improvement in the understanding and practice of family financial management, with an average score increase of 35%. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and the ability to independently prepare monthly budgets using the Kakeibo method. This program contributes positively to women's economic empowerment and strengthens family financial resilience in urban Jakarta.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve students' ability to find story content through the use of interactive picture storybook media in science learning on social and cultural diversity in Indonesia at MIS Ibnu Sina Bogor. The activity was carried out on 28 fourth grade students using a participatory approach through the stages of needs analysis, activity planning, learning implementation, and activity evaluation. The media used was an interactive picture storybook designed to help students understand the story content through image visualization and interactive activities. Evaluation techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and essay tests on the ability to find story content. The results of the activity showed that the use of interactive picture storybook media was able to increase student engagement in learning, increase reading interest, and help students understand the characters, plot, setting, and moral messages in the story. The evaluation results showed that the average post-test score of students reached 70.80, indicating that students' ability to find story content was in the good category. In addition, students appeared more active, enthusiastic, and confident during the learning process.

Abstract

Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, has significant tourism potential, but Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) producing local souvenirs still rely on traditional marketing. This lack of a digital footprint hinders the competitiveness of local products in an increasingly modern market. This community service initiative aims to bridge this digital divide through digital marketing training, focusing on visual design using the Canva platform. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method involved active community participation, from problem identification and discussion to hands-on action implementation, to evaluation. The mentoring program demonstrated improved skills among MSMEs in compiling digital product catalogs, designing business logos, applying color psychology, and creating aesthetic promotional content for social media. The use of Canva features has proven effective in enhancing the perceived value and professionalism of MSME products. In conclusion, this training has successfully increased the independence and digital competitiveness of Pamijahan MSMEs, opened up opportunities for market share expansion, and contributed to improving the economic well-being of the community in the tourism area.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Curug Bitung Village play a vital role but experience stagnation due to low financial and managerial literacy, as well as vulnerability to exploitative financial practices such as illegal online loans and loan sharks. This community service program aims to provide integrated education on Sharia Financial Literacy so that MSME actors can avoid MAGHRIB practices (Maysir, Gharar, Riba). The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves the community through five stages: social mapping, focus group discussions (FGD), action planning, workshop implementation, and evaluation. The results show that the majority of micro-scale MSMEs successfully classified their businesses, deconstructed misconceptions about daily transactions, and practiced simple cash flow management using a Pocket Cash Book to separate personal and business finances. In addition, there was a transformation in the residents' financial attitudes in controlling consumptive behavior by distinguishing needs and wants based on theological-spiritual values. In conclusion, this integrated educational intervention successfully equipped residents with sound managerial skills and a strong ideological fortress to advance rural MSMEs.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen women’s fiqh literacy in Kalukubodo Village through practical education on fasting jurisprudence, particularly the rulings related to menstruation, postpartum bleeding, qada’, and fidyah. The main participants of this program were Muslim women in Kalukubodo Village, Galesong Selatan District, Takalar Regency, including young women and mothers who required structured religious guidance before Ramadan. The program employed a Participatory Action Research approach by involving the community in problem identification, implementation, discussion, and evaluation. Data were collected through direct observation, participant involvement, coordination with local authorities, and in-depth discussions with women representatives. The results showed that the interactive taklim model encouraged active participation and helped participants clarify practical issues related to fasting obligations. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm, particularly during the question-and-answer session, which indicated the relevance of the topic to their daily religious practices. This program revealed that community-based fiqh education with dialogical and case-based learning can become an effective strategy to strengthen women’s understanding of Islamic fasting rulings.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology requires primary school teachers to possess competencies in integrating technology into classroom instruction, including the use of educational robotics. However, many teachers still lack the knowledge and practical skills needed to implement robotics-based learning. This community service program aimed to improve teachers' knowledge and skills in understanding basic robotics concepts, assembling and programming simple robots, and integrating robotics into STEM-based learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The program employed a participatory training method combined with an experiential learning approach consisting of needs assessment, lectures, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. Thirty primary school teachers from the Teachers Working Group (KKG) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers Working Group (KKMI) in Bogor participated in the program. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests, post-tests, observation sheets, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results indicated an increase in the average score from 58.40 to 86.70, with an N-Gain of 0.68 (moderate category). Observation results showed that more than 80% of participants were able to assemble, program, and operate simple robots independently. Furthermore, participant satisfaction reached 92.4%, indicating that the training effectively enhanced teachers' competencies. Therefore, robotics training can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen teachers' professional competencies while supporting the implementation of STEM education and the Merdeka Curriculum in primary schools

Abstract

Management of Majlis Ta’lim (MT) is important to be written down to uphold the rules made by the organizers and congregation. The management of module procurement starts from planning, preparing the material, and distributing the modules on a regular basis. Evaluation of MT activities can be done if the rules enforced are well recorded and continuous, including the materials delivered by the speakers. The materials presented to the community are tailored to the daily needs of the people. The preparation of modules aims to make it easier for speakers and attendees to understand, remember, and practice. The ongoing presence of the community can help create a sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah (SAMAWA) family. SAMAWA families are able to maintain healthy finances and contribute to the overall financial welfare of Muslim families globally. The research method is a case study of the Majlis Ta’lim in Bogor Regency analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. The result of this research is MT Mushollala Al-Muba
