Abstract

The development of health resources in Indonesia today is still marked by the vulnerability to the health status of mothers and children, especially the problem of the still high maternal and infant mortality rates. The causes of maternal death are divided into direct deaths and indirect deaths. One of the causes of maternal death is Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). The role of nutritional adequacy is very vital, starting from the first trimester of pregnancy to the first thousand days of life. CED in pregnant women can affect the growth process of the fetus and can cause miscarriage. In this study, the researchers aimed to identify a relationship between CED and abortion. This study used a correlation design with a retrospective approach, with a total population of 24 pregnant women with a sample of 24 women who had experienced abortions. The results of the data analysis showed that 66.7% of abortion mothers had CED. the results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test obtained a significant degree of the p-value (0.000) < α (0.05) then H1 accepted and H0 rejected, which means that there is a relationship between chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women and the incidence of abortion at the Klenang Kidul Banyuanyar Probolinggo Health Center in 2021-2022. Health workers are expected to carry out prevention efforts by checking the nutritional status of pregnant women regularly and providing knowledge about balanced nutritional needs.

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is a pregnancy complication and is one of the three highest causes of mortality and morbidity. Deep breathing relaxation therapy can increase oxygen saturation, improve oxygenation in the blood, and create a relaxed state in the body. This study aims to analyze the effect of breathing relaxation techniques on changes in blood pressure of pregnant women with preeclampsia at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Polyclinic, Tongas Hospital, Probolinggo Regency. This study used a one-group pre-post test design (pre-experimental) using a cross-sectional study approach with 30 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. Data collection includes coding, editing, and tabulating, then analyzed manually and by computer with the Paired T-Test. Based on data from 30 respondents, the majority of pregnant women's blood pressure before being given a breathing relaxation technique experienced moderate blood pressure as many as 15 respondents (50%), while the blood pressure of pregnant women after being given a breathing relaxation technique experienced mild hypertension was 0.19 respondents (63, 3 %). obtained P Value: 0.000 and a = 0.05, meaning r <a, so that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted, and there is an influence of the breathing relaxation technique on changes in blood pressure of pre-eclampsia pregnant women at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Polyclinic, Tongas Hospital, Probolinggo Regency. Respiratory relaxation therapy can be done independently, is relatively easy to do compared to other non-pharmacological therapies, does not take long in therapy, and can reduce the side effects of pharmacological therapy. for pregnant women with hypertension.

Abstract

Socio-cultural is a custom carried out by someone from generation to generation based on trusted habits. One of them is the social culture in carrying out pregnancy checks according to standards known as K6 visits. Visits of K6 pregnant women are contacts of pregnant women with health workers to get ANC services according to the 10T standard, and the frequency of visits is at least six times during the gestation period, namely one time in the 1st trimester, two times in the 2nd trimester, and three times in the 3rd trimester. It aims to analyze socio-cultural relations with K6 visits. This study uses a research design analyst with a cross-sectional approach. Data were taken from interviews with respondents using questionnaires and observation sheets, carried out at the KIA Polyclinic at the Klenang Kidul Health Center on June 16 - August 22, 2022, with 30 respondents using accidental sampling. Data collection includes coding, editing, and tabulating, and then the data is analyzed manually and by computer testingChi-square. Of the 30 respondents studied, most were aged 20-35 years (50%), most of them had junior high school education (43.3%), most of them did not work (60%), the decision-makers in conducting pregnancy checks were pregnant women themselves (40 %), some are Madurese (70%), the majority are Muslim (100%), some respondents have one child (46.67%). The pregnancy status is mostly multigravida (46.67%). Most respondents were social and cultural (60%) and made K6 visits (53.3%). Data analysis in this study uses Uji Chi-Square with a value of α=0.05. The calculation results obtained a p-value < 0.05, namely 0.001 < 0.05, meaning there is a socio-cultural relationship with K6 visits at the Klenang Kidul Probolinggo Health Center. It is hoped that the Klenang Kidul Probolinggo Health Center will improve pregnancy check-up services according to the standards set by the government by providing counseling on the benefits of Antenatal Care as early as possible and not be affected by the existing social culture to reduce Maternal Mortality Rates and Infant Mortality Rates.

Abstract

Adolescence or puberty is a period of change in attitudes and behavior from childhood to young adulthood. Adolescence is the most beautiful adjustment period, and almost all adults go through this period with unforgettable memories. Still, it is often accompanied by upheavals and problems, both medical and psychological problems. This study analyzes the relationship between perineal hygiene behavior and reproductive health in adolescents who experience early marriage in Tandonsentul Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. This research is quantitative with a correlational design using a cross-sectional study approach with 30 respondents using an accidental sampling technique. Data collection included coding, editing, and tabulating, then analyzed manually and by computer with Uji Spearman Rank. Based on data that out of 30 respondents, most perineal hygiene behaviors were lacking, 18 respondents (60%) with reproductive health in adolescents who experienced early marriage well, 0 respondents (0%) had good reproductive health, 13 respondents (43.3%) and those who less than 15 respondents (50%). The result of p-value=0.004 (a=0.05) shows a relationship between perineal hygiene behavior and reproductive health in adolescents who experience early marriage in Tandonsentul Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency. It is hoped that one of the efforts to increase the knowledge and behavior of adolescents regarding motivation to carry out premarital examinations correctly and adequately is to provide health education/health promotion.
