Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of human resources in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis procedure was carried out interactively, starting with data collection, presentation, reduction, and concluding. The results of the study show that the performance of human resources in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools is carried out through the competence of administrators in various fields, high aspirations, and support from leaders. This research provides implications about the importance of effective performance in realizing organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between work discipline and work motivation with the performance of MAN teachers in Bandar Lampung. This type of research is associative quantitative with a total population of 164 teachers and a research sample of 63 teachers. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 23. The results showed that work motivation have a significant relationship with teacher performance. Judging from the value of the coefficient of determination of 0.550, the results show that the contribution or contribution of the relationship between X1 work discipline and X2 work motivation with Y teacher performance is 55% while the remaining 45% is the contribution of other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

This paper presents about improving teacher performance through strengthening spiritual intelligence in schools. This spiritual intelligence is critical to be developed to enhancing the character of PAI teachers for learning tasks. Maintaining Spiritual Intelligence is very influential in forming morals in education to produce education that is broad-minded in the field of science. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, as for analyzing the research data with data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that strengthening spiritual intelligence could improve the performance of PAI teachers at SMP Nurul Jadid from the level of discipline, the ability to make lesson plans, mastery of the material, and the ability to master the class. Teachers carry out activities that can support the strengthening of spiritual intelligence, which can improve PAI teachers' quality through habituation, training, and coaching, as well as guidance from caregivers.

Abstract

This study was conducted to reveal the principal's transformational leadership and organizational communication its effect on teacher organizational commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method with a total sample of 28 teachers. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using simple and multiple correlation and regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that the principal's transformational leadership and organizational communication have a joint effect on the variable of teacher organizational commitment by 92.2% which means very strong. So it can be concluded that the better the principal's transformational leadership and organizational communication, the better the teacher's organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the management of learning in schools at SD Negeri Caturtunggal 3, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region, during the Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTMT) was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results showed that the limited face-to-face learning carried out after the previous learning was done online, there were several obstacles that the students strongly dominated at the beginning of the learning implementation. Limited face-to-face learning has obstacles. Namely, many students are confused when invited to icebreaking. Students are still adjusting to the learning, and the reality of student understanding seen from the assessment during online learning and then implemented in a limited manner is very different. Although at the beginning of the implementation of limited face-to-face learning, there were still obstacles, SD Negeri Caturtunggal 3 was able to prepare and develop sound strategies to manage limited face-to-face learning to anticipate unwanted things.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of recruitment and selection of teaching staff in order to achieve the goals of the institution. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, which describes existing phenomena. As for data collection techniques using observation, interviews and document study. Researchers conducted interviews with school principals, deputy principals, chairs and secretaries of the Muhammadiyah Elementary and Middle Education Council (MPDM) in Metro City. The results of the study show that the strategy for recruiting and selecting educators has been good. This recruitment activity begins with planning the needs of educators, namely by analyzing the needs of existing teachers, announcement of vacancies for educators, requirements that must be met by prospective educators, selection with various tests, interviews and determining teacher acceptance. The strategy used can be said to be effective for schools, this is proven by the very good quality of teaching staff obtained as expressed by the principal as the executor and decision maker in teacher recruitment activities.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the student management carried out by Nurul Jadid University in creating a superior university. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. The data collection technique is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that student management in creating superior universities at the University of Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo was carried out through systematic planning involving the existing academic community. The planning is based on the results of internal and external analysis of the institution, which is followed up by determining the implementation strategy, program implementation, and evaluation system used for continuous improvement so that the institution's competitive advantage can be achieved.

Abstract

As the highest leader in the Islamic boarding school, Kiai has a significant influence on the good and bad of the Islamic boarding school. This study focuses on the privilege (idiosyncratic) of Kiai Abdul Hamid Wahid as the leader of the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. These privileges can affect the performance of employees and management in carrying out their respective duties. The author is conducting research using qualitative methods, with the techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The discussion results show that Kiai Abdul Hamid Wahid's values, experience, and talents make him a leader who has a significant influence on the performance of employees and administrators and decision-making at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the application of the partnership program as a strategy for higher education in maintaining sustainability at Nurul Jadid Paiton University, Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. The results showed that Nurul Jadid University carried out a partnership program with other agencies as a strategy in maintaining sustainability in the institution which was carried out through four stages, namely: Attention, namely creating awareness of the process and innovation in the institution; Interest, which is to raise interest from the community; Desire to choose an institution; Action, namely community action that makes the institution selected as its main choice. Through this community choice, the institution can maintain the sustainability of higher education. This research has implications for the importance of educational institutions in maintaining sustainability through their partner institutions, thus impacting public trust and public loyalty.

Abstract

Learning in emergency conditions cannot be carried out as usual, however, students still get education and learning services, namely through distance learning by carrying out learning activities from home. The purpose of this paper is to describe the governance of the adaptive curriculum model of the education unit in improving effective learning adapted to the conditions and needs of the school/madrasah. The method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach. The results of the adaptive curriculum development model are divided into three, namely: 1) General curriculum model (regular). 2) General curriculum model with modifications. 3) Individualized curriculum model Effective learning if teaching activities can achieve the objectives according to the initial planning. Learning is said to be effective when students can absorb the subject matter and efficiently. Emergency learning models include: Project Based Learning, online Method, Offline Method, Home Visit Method, Integrated Curriculum, Blended Learning.
