Abstract

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver that can be caused by viral infections, genetic factors, alcohol, and medications. This disease is difficult to diagnose clinically due to its varying symptoms. This study aims to classify the types of hepatitis using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The method employed is SVM with various kernels, utilizing a dataset consisting of 620 records with 19 features and 1 class attribute. The data is split into 80% for training and 20% for testing. The results show that the polynomial kernel delivers the best performance with an accuracy of 96%, precision of 100%, recall of 81%, and F1-score of 89%. The conclusion of this study is that the SVM method with a polynomial kernel can serve as an effective tool in detecting the presence or absence of hepatitis.

Abstract

Green economy is a development concept that focuses not only on economic growth, but also on maintaining balance with environmental sustainability. This study aims to explore strategies that can increase employment opportunities in the green economy in Pesawaran Regency. With a qualitative approach, this study reveals potential sectors and various challenges faced in their implementation. The results of the study indicate that sustainable agriculture, eco-friendly tourism, and renewable energy sectors have great potential in creating greener jobs. However, there are still obstacles such as limited infrastructure, lack of skilled workers, and minimal investment. To overcome these challenges, comprehensive policies and cooperation between the government, private sector, and community are needed. Abstrak: Ekonomi hijau adalah konsep pembangunan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada pertumbuhan ekonomi, tetapi juga menjaga keseimbangan dengan kelestarian lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali strategi yang dapat meningkatkan peluang kerja dalam ekonomi hijau di Kabupaten Pesawaran. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengungkap sektor-sektor berpotensi serta berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian berkelanjutan, pariwisata ramah lingkungan, dan energi terbarukan memiliki peluang besar dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja yang lebih hijau. Namun, masih ada kendala seperti infrastruktur yang terbatas, kurangnya tenaga kerja terampil, dan minimnya investasi. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan kebijakan yang menyeluruh serta kerja sama antara pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

CV Natural Palembang is one of the local trading companies and exports of carpets and other furniture. The Production Department has a sub-division, namely the manufacture of carpets made from abaca tree fiber which is currently a mainstay product. For sales, especially exports that have a delivery deadline agreement so that delays must be avoided. Currently, production is experiencing some delays because production scheduling is still done manually with estimated time. These delays impact financial performance— the more delays occur, the higher the penalties, resulting in economic losses. The study was conducted by collecting data on the duration of each production process activity and calculating using the CPM (Critical Path Method) method and then analyzing the critical path and activities and optimum time. Based on the CPM calculation, the critical path is obtained, namely the 2nd activity path with the series AàCàDàEàGàHàIàJàK. The calculation results show that the total optimal time obtained is 19.5 hours, in other words 4.5 hours faster than the company's actual production time, which is 24 hours for 1 carpet. This time optimization leads to cost savings of IDR 3,920,000.

Abstract

Pabrik PT Segara Makmur Sejahtera bergerak di bidang produksi pengolahan air mineral dalam kemasan dengan beberapa merek. Dalam observasi yang dilakukan peneliti menemukan masih banyak antrian yang terjadi pada proses pencucian galon kosong yang belum optimal. Dari permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian untuk meningkatan produktivitas dan mengurangi waktu tunggu antrian pada proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ANTRIAN dengan menggunakan software arena sehingga dapat memberikan solusi optimal yang dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja sistem antrian pada proses pencucian galon kosong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari skenario perbaikan dapat meminimalkan waktu tunggu, dengan kondisi awal terjadi penumpukan dengan waktu tunggu antrian sebesar 103,3221 menit, Pada kondisi skenario perbaikan 1 waktu tunggu antrian sebesar 67,4488 menit mampu menurunkan waktu tunggu antrian sebesar 35 % dan pada kondisi skenario perbaikan 2 waktu tunggu antrian sebesar 53,7297 menit mampu menurunkan waktu tunggu antrian sebesar 48%.

Abstract

This study investigates the performance of android applications developed using Java and Kotlin in consuming API. Driven by the need for responsive and efficient android applications and the potential impact of runtime performance differences between Java and Kotlin programs, this research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach. Data is collected through Instrumented Tests and Android Studio tools on two smartphones with different specifications. Parameters measured include data download speed, memory allocation, execution time, serialization/deserialization time, application size, and lines of code. Results indicate Java's superiority in download speed and data serialization, while Kotlin demonstrates conciseness in code size. Performance varies depending on device specifications. The choice of programming language depends on the application's needs and priorities. Java is optimal for applications prioritizing download speed and data serialization, while Kotlin suits those focused on code efficiency. This study provides recommendations for PANDA application developers and future research.

Abstract

This study examines the development of Decision Support Systems (DSS) in the last three years based on methods, types of decisions, software development, and their focus areas. General analysis shows that the DSS methods used include multicriteria analysis, machine learning, algorithm optimization, and fuzzy logic to support complex and data-driven decision making. DSS is applied in strategic, tactical, and operational decisions. In terms of software development, Agile and prototyping methods are dominant due to their complexity. The main areas of DSS application include business management, health, education, transportation, and the environment, with the aim of providing efficient and adaptive solutions. The results of this study describe the trends and applications of DSS and serve as references for research and implementation in various sectors.

Abstract

Pl The Information System plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing organizational assets to achieve strategic goals. One method used to enhance the effectiveness of information systems is the Knowledge Management System (KMS), which aids in managing resources such as information technology, management, and finance. This study examines KMS using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach on 15 relevant journals. The analysis reveals that knowledge-sharing systems are the most developed KMS process (40%), facilitating the dissemination of explicit and tacit knowledge. The Tiwana framework dominates (53.33%) due to its flexibility and systematic stages, while web-based KMS is the preferred choice (80%) for its accessibility. Additionally, discussion forums are the most advanced feature (66.67%), supporting real-time communication and knowledge archiving. This study highlights the latest trends in KMS development and proposes the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to enhance its effectiveness.

Abstract

This study analyzes platforms and databases in information system software development based on literature from 2022 to 2024 using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This method allows for the systematic identification of journal articles following predefined procedures. Various platforms for information system development include mobile, web, and desktop, while databases include MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server. This study aims to identify the databases used, types of developed information systems, platforms utilized, key development fields, and software development methods applied. From the 20 analyzed studies, MySQL was the most commonly used database due to its efficiency, ease of use, and high compatibility, making it the preferred choice for information system development.

Abstract

PT ABC Tour & Travel is a company specializing in Hajj Plus and Umrah travel services, headquartered in Tangerang with branches in Padang and Palembang. The company faces challenges in data management, particularly in pilgrim registration, package management, employee data, referrals, facilities, and company information. Manual data processing increases the risk of data loss, input errors, and inefficiency. This study aims to develop a web-based management information system using the Laravel framework, accessible by the Head Office, employees, as well as Branch Directors and staff. Implementing the Iterative Enhancement Model, the system includes features for recruitment, pilgrim registration, package management, employee data, referrals, facilities, document management, and company information. The system enhances data accuracy and operational efficiency, ensuring a more reliable and streamlined data management process for the company.

Abstract

The employee information system is a crucial element in enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity in human resource management. This study focuses on PT. Citra Bumi Sumatera, where employee data management is still conducted manually, leading to inaccuracies and delays in decision-making. The main issues include recruitment processes, work permits, leave applications, promotions, demotions, and the reward and punishment system. To address these problems, the PT. Citra Bumi Sumatera Employee System was developed as a web-based application featuring attendance tracking, document management, leave requests, and employee data management. The system was built using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology, with data collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The study results indicate that this system improves efficiency and accuracy in the company's employee data management.
