Abstract

Fintech, or financial technology, has grown rapidly and is now a way to help micro-enterprises gain more access to capital. The purpose of this study is to examine how fintech can help Wonder Craft, a micro-enterprise in Pesawaran specializing in innovative knitting and beading, create an inclusive economy. This study uses a case study methodology combined with qualitative descriptive methods. In-depth interviews, observations, and documentation were used to collect data. The study findings show that fintech benefits micro-enterprises by making funding more accessible, increasing the effectiveness of digital transactions, and improving technology-based marketing. Wonder Craft was able to increase revenue, attract a wider audience, and strengthen local communities by leveraging fintech. This study shows that in the digital era, fintech plays a vital role in building a fair economic ecosystem for MSMEs.

Abstract

Catholic church design must harmoniously combine sacred tradition, functionality, and aesthetics, but achieving this balance is often a challenge. One of the obstacles is the difficulty of integrating design elements effectively. This study examines the use of SketchUp and Enscape in architectural planning. SketchUp, as a 3D modeling tool, helps designers create detailed representations, overcoming the limitations of visualization in traditional methods. Meanwhile, Enscape with real-time rendering capabilities improves design realism through more accurate lighting and materials. The purpose of this research is to integrate the two software in church design, in order to improve accuracy and help aesthetic and functional decision-making. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results show that 3D technology can produce realistic designs that serve as a reference for people to see church images in more detail and concretely.

Abstract

Tax avoidance is a series of legitimate actions aimed at reducing tax liabilities. Although legally tax avoidance does not violate the rules, this practice is often considered unethical because it can reduce the potential for state tax revenues that should be used for the public interestThis research seeks to examine the potential of effective corporate governance in preventing tax avoidance through a systematic review of existing empirical studies.This summary helps the author understand that various aspects of good corporate governance such as the audit committee, board of directors, board of commissioners, and ownership structure have a significant impact on tax avoidance in the business

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of product quality, price and customer reviews on the decision to purchase MakeOver cosmetics partially and simultaneously. This study uses a questionnaire distribution method with a Likert scale, with a total of 230 respondents. The type of research used is a quantitative method. The sampling technique was taken using the purposive sampling technique and the Roscoe formula method. The data processing of this study uses the help of SPSS 26 software. The results of this study show that the partial test (t-test) of product quality variables (X1), price (X2), and customer review (X3) have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. The Simultaneous Test (F-test) proved that the variables of product quality (X1), price (X2), and customer review (X3) had an effect on the dependent variable, namely the purchase decision (Y).

Abstract

The transition to a sustainable economy requires the integration of green innovation and circular economy principles. This study explores how independent entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) leverage sustainable practices to achieve long-term economic growth. Using a qualitative case study-based approach, this study involved 7 MSMEs in Pesawaran Regency who have implemented circular economy principles through textile waste recycling, eco-friendly accessory production, and innovation using used raw materials. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis and validated using source and method triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of a circular economy increased cost efficiency by 30% and increased business competitiveness by up to 45% compared to conventional business models. However, the main challenges in the form of minimal recycled raw materials, lack of technology, and the absence of supporting policies are still the main obstacles. Therefore, collaboration between entrepreneurs, the government, and the green business community is needed to accelerate the implementation of a circular economy in Indonesia.

Abstract

With the development of information technology, the employee attendance recording system at Global Graphic Printing is still done manually, which has the potential to cause inaccuracy and lack of detail in the resulting reports. This study aims to develop a responsive web-based attendance system by utilizing QR Code technology, so that it can be accessed directly through each employee's device. The methods applied include system development using the waterfall method and QR Code-based system design integrated with a web platform and MySQL database, allowing real-time attendance recording. In its development, this study uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The attendance system is designed using Android Studio with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS programming languages. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce manual recording errors, speed up the attendance process, and increase report transparency. Thus, this system has the potential to increase company productivity and create a more organized work environment.

Abstract

This Research aims to develop an administrative system to facilitate the sacrament registration process for baptism candidates by utilizing website. At Gembala Baik Catholic Church in Pontianak, the current administrative system is not well-integrated, making data retrieval for parishioners and baptism candidates time-consuming and leading to complaints about the church’s administrative services. This research employs a qualitative method for data collection and a sequential method for data retrieval. A well-integrated administrative system will provide a strong foundation for the church’s growth and positively impact its services to the congregation. The use of the sequential method in data retrieval offers a faster and ordered data processing without excessive data load.

Abstract

Online medical check-up registration system is an innovation that can be applied by Health services to facilitate patients in registering. With the increasing demand for efficient and accessible health services, it is necessary to develop application that are functional and provide a satisfying experience for users. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of analyzing user needs and designing a user interface (UI) on an online medical check-up registration system. The methodology used in designing the interface design of patient online registration system is the Design thinking methodology. Design thinking is a methodology that can help in understanding user needs and developing solutions to problems that arise in an innovative way. This research produces a system design that can help develop digital health services, with the hope of facilitating access to health services and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the patient registration system.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a soilless planting method that uses water containing essential nutrient solutions. Lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is a popular vegetable, including those grown hydroponically because of its high nutritional content. In hydroponics, plants depend on three main elements: Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K). Deficiency of one of these elements affects the color and quality of lettuce. This study aims to classify the nutritional quality of lettuce using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) algorithm with NPK nutrients based on HSV features, with evaluation through Euclidean Distance. Lettuce is classified into four categories FN (Full Nutrition), K (Potassium), N (Nitrogen), and P (Phosphorus). The results showed the highest accuracy at K = 1 of 86.2%, precision 85.7%, recall 70.5%. So this method is proven effective for classifying the nutritional quality of lettuce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana gender diversity dan Good Corporate Governance (GCG) memengaruhi kinerja keuangan perusahaan yang tergabung dalam indeks IDX ESG Leader selama periode 2021–2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Purposive sampling dan analisis regresi linear berganda dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 27. Sementara Return on Investment (ROI) digunakan sebagai variabel dependen, variabel independen mencakup tingkat gender diversity, representasi perempuan dalam dewan direksi, dewan komisaris independen, dan komite audit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran perempuan dalam dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris independen memiliki efek positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Sebaliknya, ketidaksamaan gender secara keseluruhan berdampak negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan peran perempuan dalam komite audit tidak berdampak pada ROI. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ketidaksamaan gender dalam tata kelola perusahaan dapat memengaruhi efektivitas manajemen dan kinerja keuangan, meskipun dampak ini bergantung pada posisi mereka dalam struktur organisasi.
