Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

Food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are one of the industrial sectors with rapid growth and significant contributions to the national economy. This study examines the effect of capital structure, company growth, and liquidity on company value directly or indirectly through profitability as an intervening variable. The object of this research is food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, and seven companies were obtained as samples—data obtained from annual financial reports published through the official IDX website. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the Smart PLS application. The results of the direct effect hypothesis test show that capital structure and company growth have a significant effect on profitability but not on company value, liquidity has a significant effect on profitability and company value, profitability has a significant effect on company value. The indirect effect hypothesis test results show that capital structure, company growth, and liquidity on company value through profitability have an insignificant effect.

Abstract

Marketing is an interconnected activity between companies and consumers as a system for generating profits, therefore having the right marketing strategy can improve it, especially as a means of developing the Ayam Geprek DV restaurant business in Situbondo Regency. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of Location, Price and Promotion on consumer loyalty through consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The target population in this study was DV Geprek Chicken consumers, numbering 97 respondents. This sampling technique is simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in research uses Structural Equation Models - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that location has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Price has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Promotion has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Location has a positive but not significant effect on consumer loyalty. Price has a positive but not significant effect on consumer loyalty. Promotion has a significant positive effect on consumer loyalty. Consumer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on consumer loyalty. Then the results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that the location variable on consumer loyalty through consumer satisfaction has a significant positive effect. Abstract

In today's rapidly evolving digital era, consumer shopping behavior has shifted significantly, with e-commerce emerging as a key platform for fulfilling consumer needs. This study aims to analyze and examine the impact of digital marketing, product quality, and product diversity on consumer purchase decisions, with trust as a moderating variable. Adopting an explanatory research, the population in this study consists of consumers of the Markas Beli Store. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis testing, conducted using the SmartPLS 3.0 application, show that digital marketing has a weakening effect on the positive relationship with purchase decisions. Similarly, product quality also weakens the positive relationship with purchase decisions. In contrast, product diversity significantly strengthens the positive relationship with purchase decisions. Additionally, trust weakens the positive influence of digital marketing on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This aims of this research is to determine the influence of organizational culture, work facilities and work discipline on ASN performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Situbondo Regency DPUPP Office. This research used a quantitative approach which was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 59 ASN employees at the Situbondo Regency Public Works, Housing and Settlements Department. The method of data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The hypothesis test results have a direct effect using the Smart PLS 3.0 application. The results of direct hypothesis testing show that organizational culture has an insignificant effect on job satisfaction, work facilities have an insignificant effect on job satisfaction, work discipline has a significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational culture has an insignificant effect on ASN performance, work facilities have an insignificant effect on ASN performance, Work discipline has a significant effect on ASN performance. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on ASN performance. The results of indirect hypothesis testing show that the organizational culture variable has a negative but not significant effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction, work facilities have a negative but not significant effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction, and work discipline has a significant positive effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the Influence of Leadership and Motivation on Employee Performance with the Work Environment as a Moderating Variable on Employees of PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk. Situbondo Branch. The sampling technique used in this study was the Total Sampling method or saturated samples of 40 people. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) The results of the study showed that Leadership had a negative but significant effect on Employee Performance, Motivation had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, Work Environment could not moderate the influence of Leadership on Employee Performance, Work Environment significantly became a moderating variable for the influence of motivation on Employee Performance.

This study aims to determine the Influence of Profit Management, Capital Structure, and Company Size on Company Value with Profitability as an Intervening Variable in Trading, Services and Investment Companies in the Large Trade Sector of Production Goods Listed on the IDX. This research method uses a quantitative method. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that profit management has a significant positive effect on profitability, Capital structure has a positive effect on profitability, Company size has a positive but not significant effect on profitability, Profit management has a significant negative effect on company value, Capital structure has a significant negative effect on company value, Company size has an effect negative but not significant to company value, Profitability has a positive but insignificant effect on company value. Profit management has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through Profitability, Capital structure has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through Profitability, Company size has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through Profitability.

Abstract

Every individual needs to have management in their activities to achieve their goals. Likewise, with organizations, management is needed to run the company well. This helps investors make investment decisions by assessing the value and state of the company as a whole. The consumer goods industry is exciting because all its products are always needed daily. This sector produces products that can support the entire community, such as food, drinks, medicines, and others. This study aimed to analyze and test the role of profitability in moderating dividend policy and corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value. The population in this study was the Consumer Goods Industry Sector, with 124 companies and a sample of 11 companies. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using Structural Equation Analysis—partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of research hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that dividend policy has a significant positive effect on firm value, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has a negative but insignificant effect on firm value, profitability significantly moderates the impact of dividend policy on firm value, profitability does not considerably moderate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value

Abstract

The automotive industry plays an important role in the Indonesian economy because this industry has a very complete chain, starting from component manufacturing, vehicle production and assembly, network distribution and sales and services to the public, and all of it is capable of absorbing a very large workforce. The aim of this research is to determine the significance of the influence of liquidity, leverage and financial performance on company value through share prices. This research uses descriptive and quantitative research. The population in this study were 11 automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2022 period. The sampling technique in this research used the Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Liquidity has a positive but not significant effect on stock prices, Leverage has a significant negative effect on stock Prices, Financial performance has a significantly positive effect on stock Prices, Liquidity has a negative but not significant effect on company value, Leverage has a negative but not significant effect on company value, financial performance has a negative but not significant effect on company value, share prices have a significant negative effect on company value. The results of the indirect influence hypothesis test show that the variable Liquidity on company value through share prices has a negative but not significant effect, Leverage on company value through share prices has a significant negative effect, Financial performance on company value through share prices has a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

The Environmental Service is the executor of government affairs in the environmental sector, led by the Head of Service, who is domiciled under and accountable to the Regent through the Regional Secretary. The Environmental Service has the task of assisting the Regent in carrying out government affairs in the environmental sector. This research aims to analyze and test the effect of Leadership and Work discipline on Performance ASN at the Environmental Service through Job satisfaction. This research is explanatory. The population in this study is the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Environmental Service. The sampling technique was determined by Probability sampling. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Leadership has a significant positive effect on Job satisfaction, Work discipline has a significant positive effect on Job satisfaction, Leadership has a negative but insignificant effect on State Civil Apparatus Performance, Work discipline has a positive but insignificant effect on State Civil Apparatus Performance, Job satisfaction has a positive but insignificant effect on State Civil Apparatus Performance. Hypothesis testing results Leadership does not significantly affect the performance of the State Civil Apparatus through job satisfaction; work discipline does not significantly affect the performance of the State Civil Apparatus through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of a company being established is to make a profit. However, in maintaining the company and in earning profits depends on how financial management manages the company's finances. To earn profits, companies need to have efficient and effective financial performance because it is important for all companies in maintaining their business. Companies in the field of transportation and logistics are companies that provide transportation facilities and infrastructure to facilitate the distribution of logistics to regions, both land, sea and air transportation. The purpose of this study was to analyze and test the role of earnings changes in mediating the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and Inflation rate on stock prices. The population in this study was the Transportation and Logistics Sector with 37 companies with a sample of 10 companies. The sampling technique was purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Analysis - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of research hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3. 0, shows that Current Ratio (CR) and Inflation rate has a negative and insignificant effect on profit changes, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has a positive and insignificant effect on profit changes, Current Ratio (CR) and Inflation rate has a negative and insignificant effect on stock price, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Profit change has a positive and insignificant effect on stock price, Current Ratio (CR) on stock price through profit change has a negative and insignificant effect, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on stock price through profit change has a positive and insignificant effect, inflation rate on stock price through profit change has a negative and insignificant effect.
