Abstract

The main focus of productivity in the construction industry is labor productivity, because labor is the resource that has the greatest influence on management. In this case the effort made by an employee is a physical form of motivation, the higher the employee's motivation, the greater the effort he does. This study aims to find out every need that is a top priority that influences the motivation of the Residential House Development project workers. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive, meaning that data is collected and compiled first, then explained and analyzed until finally conclusions are drawn on the existing problems. Data processing uses the computer program SPSS (Statistics Product and Service Solution) version 15.00. Data analysis techniques using validity, reliability, frequency tests, from the analysis it can be seen that bonuses and additional wages are a top priority for physical needs with a total score of 159, good work safety programs are a top priority for security and safety needs with a total score of 148, Relationship Good with fellow workers is a top priority for Social Needs with a total score of 148. Being able to complete work well is a top priority for Recognition Needs with a total score of 145. Good arrangement of work schedules is a top priority for self-identity needs with a total score of 139. Alternatives to increasing worker motivation is by providing bonuses and additional wages when construction workers can complete work before the target.

Abstract

In selecting the type of material and the method of carrying out installation work on structural steel joints in the world of construction, things that must be considered in terms of cost, quality and time, there are two alternatives in selecting the type of reinforcement connection in column work, namely: lap splice and coupler, lap splice connection is a method traditional way to connect the two reinforcement when the column erection is carried out. Mechanical connection or (Coupler) is the newest method to connect two reinforcement using a coupler. The mechanical connection or connection (Coupler) does not depend on the strength of the concrete in the column, so this connection is stronger than the lapsplice connection. Data collection was carried out using the direct observation method in the field, and calculations were made on the column reinforcement joints with a tensile test (Coupler) to obtain 59.28 kgf/mm2 or 578.92 mpa. This refers to SNI-07-2052-2017 because in SNI the minimum limit for the tensile strength of reinforcing steel is 525 MPa. The calculation results show that reinforcement for 7 columns D32 with the Coupler method takes an average of 4221 minutes, or 9 days, 19 minutes/floor, and requires a total cost of 5449.50 minutes or 11 hours using the Lapsplice/overlap method. , 35 minutes/floor.

Abstract

There are various factors that cause incomplete documentation of nursing care, including the motivation and workload of nurses. This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. the number of samples is 40 people, the sampling technique is total sampling. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis techniques Univariate analysis with frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Fisher's exact test. The results of the analysis found that motivation with the completeness of nursing care documentation had a p value = 0.394 (p => 0.05), and the workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation p value = 1.000 (p = > 0.05) . So it can be concluded that there is no relationship between motivation and workload of nurses with the completeness of nursing care documentation in the internal room of RSUD Dr. Abdul Rivai Berau District. It is expected that nurses can maintain the completeness of their nursing care documentation.

Abstract

Hypertension is a silent killer (silent killer). One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used is acupressure which is physiotherapy by giving massage and stimulation to certain points on the body. This study aims to determine the effect of self-acupressure therapy on changes in blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Quantitative research type Quasy Experiment with Pre and Post Test Non Equivalent Control Group design. The population is 157 people spread in the working area of the UPT Health Center Tubaan. Non Probability Sampling technique with purposive sampling type. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Repeated Measures Anova test. The results of the analysis show that the ρ-value = 0.000 <0.05 (Sig.95%). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving independent acupressure therapy to changes in blood pressure in people with hypertension. This intervention can be an alternative non-pharmacological therapy used in nursing care for people with hypertension.

Abstract

The final follow-up of pulmonary TB treatment is monitoring the regularity and adherence of patient treatment. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support, patient attitudes and adherence of pulmonary TB patients to follow-up at the end of treatment at the Berau District Health Center. This study uses a correlational analytic research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of 99 people was carried out by purposive sampling technique. The standard instruments used in this study were a family support questionnaire from Yani Arnoldus, a patient attitude questionnaire from Alif Arditia.Y and adherence to follow-up at the end of treatment using an adherence questionnaire using MMAS-8, and continued filling out the questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed univariately and bivariately with the Chi Square test. Obtained the variable values of family support and compliance of pulmonary TB patients following up at the end of treatment with p-value = 0.001, which is below α = 0.05 (p <α = 0.05), and the attitude variable with adherence of pulmonary TB patients following up at the end of treatment with p-value = 0.580 which is above α = 0.05 (p > α = 0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between family support and adherence of pulmonary TB patients to follow up at the end of treatment and there is no significant relationship between patient attitudes and compliance of pulmonary TB patients to follow up at the end of treatment at the Puskesmas.

Abstract

One of the important things in planning a dam is sedimentation analysis. Without a good and thorough analysis at the planning stage, the sedimentation that occurs can cause problems when the reservoir is operational. Although not quickly and significantly in its effect on reservoir operations, excessive sedimentation can reduce the service life of the reservoir. By writing this article, we aim to analyze the sedimentation rate produced by the Pappa River and its effect on the service life of the Pamukkulu Reservoir, Kab. Takalar. The data we need in our research include Reservoir Topography data, Hydrological Data, Sediment Data, and Geological Data. After processing the data above using the USLE method, we get a sedimentation rate of 7.193 mm/year. With this sedimentation rate value, through our calculations we project that in the 50th year the resulting sedimentation will be 4,498,175.66 m³/year which is still below the previous planning calculation of 4,658,000 m³/year.

Abstract

In a homogeneous good Cournot duopoly, a firm owns a cost-reducing technology and shares his ownership to its rival. We show that optimal output of firm 1 is lower under licensing than under no licensing but optimal output of firm 2 is higher under licencing than under no licensing. Superior firm will license its superior technology to firm 2 depends on how effective the technology is.
