Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing academic achievement and its impact on students' career and self-development. The primary focus is to understand how internal factors such as motivation, self-confidence, and study discipline, as well as external factors such as family support, school environment, and educational policies, contribute to students' success. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving students from various educational levels. Data were collected through questionnaires designed to measure variables related to academic achievement and its impact on career development and self-improvement. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and regression analysis to identify relationships between these variables. The findings indicate that internal factors, particularly intrinsic motivation and study discipline, have a significant impact on students' academic achievement. Additionally, family support and a conducive school environment also contribute positively. Furthermore, high academic achievement is strongly associated with increased self-confidence in career planning and enhanced self-development skills such as leadership and communication.

Abstract

Conflict within organizations is an inevitable phenomenon that often arises due to differences in interests, perceptions, or goals among individuals and departments. This study aims to comprehensively examine conflict management, including its history, definitions, causal factors, functions, and resolution strategies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, data were collected from various credible and relevant scientific sources, both printed and digital. The findings indicate that conflict management serves not only as a problem-solving mechanism but also as a strategic tool to enhance team cohesion and work effectiveness when managed properly. Constructively managed conflict can become a source of innovation and work motivation. This study also highlights that the effectiveness of conflict management is more influenced by individuals’ understanding of relational dynamics and how they frame conflict, rather than by personality or gender alone. The novelty of this research lies in its integrative approach, combining historical, theoretical, and practical perspectives, and it proposes the development of a training model based on framing and interpersonal relations as a strategic solution to address conflict challenges in modern organizational settings.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted Indonesia’s economy, triggering contractions in key sectors and posing challenges to recovery efforts. Amidst this crisis, the Sharia capital market has emerged as a promising driver for sustainable economic growth, grounded in Islamic principles that prohibit riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling). This study explores the strategic role of the Sharia capital market in supporting Indonesia's post-pandemic economic recovery. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, the research analyzes the contribution of Sharia-compliant financial instruments—such as sukuk, Sharia stocks, and investment funds—in revitalizing Sharia-oriented sectors including halal industry, renewable energy, Islamic finance, and MSMEs. The study identifies factors influencing investor participation, highlights existing challenges such as limited public literacy and policy support, and offers strategic recommendations for policymakers to enhance the market’s effectiveness. The findings underscore that the Sharia capital market not only offers ethical and inclusive financial solutions but also supports long-term national development goals through equitable and resilient economic systems.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how productive waqf can be optimized as a social investment instrument from the perspective of Islamic economics. The research specifically seeks to identify the roles, strategies, and challenges faced by waqf institutions in managing productive waqf assets to enhance community welfare. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis at several waqf institutions in Indonesia. The findings reveal that the optimization of productive waqf involves three main aspects: strengthening institutional capacity, applying sharia-based investment principles, and increasing public trust through transparency and accountability. The study also found that productive waqf has a significant impact on financing social and economic programs, empowering small and medium enterprises, and supporting sustainable community development. This research concludes that productive waqf, when managed professionally and in accordance with Islamic economic principles, can serve as an effective social investment instrument, contributing to both social welfare and economic equity.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has drastically reshaped the industrial landscape, compelling the workforce to acquire new competencies to remain relevant and competitive. Within this context, reskilling and upskilling have emerged as critical strategies for organizations in managing human resources (HR) and adapting to accelerated technological change. Nevertheless, the implementation of reskilling and upskilling is fraught with challenges, including widening skill gaps between older and younger employees, resource limitations for training, and resistance to change among workers. This study aims to analyze these challenges and identify effective HR management strategies to address them. A qualitative approach was employed, combining a systematic literature review and secondary data analysis from both academic and industry sources. The findings indicate that technology-enabled strategies, such as e-learning, microlearning, and AI-driven training, are essential to workforce development. Moreover, hybrid learning models, which integrate online and face-to-face training, have been shown to enhance training efficiency. Cross-sector collaboration among corporations, educational institutions, and governments is also highlighted as a key success factor in implementing reskilling and upskilling programs. Practical implications suggest that organizations should embed reskilling and upskilling within HR policies, foster a culture of continuous learning, and allocate sufficient resources to employee training. This study contributes to both theory and practice by providing insights into adaptive and innovative HR development strategies in the digital era. Future research is recommended to further investigate the impact of reskilling initiatives on employee productivity and performance.
