Abstract

Microplastics are pollutants commonly found in aquatic environments and have the potential to accumulate in marine organisms, particularly filter-feeding organisms such as the green mussel (Perna viridis). This study aims to analyze the abundance, characteristics, and types of microplastic polymers using a microscope and FTIR (Fourier transform infrared) spectroscopy at two stations in the waters of Gunung Jati, Cirebon, and their accumulation in the hepatopancreas of green mussels. The results showed that the abundance of microplastics in the waters of Station 1 was 0.425 particles/L, higher than that of Station 2 at 0.325 particles/L. In the hepatopancreas of green mussels, the abundance of microplastics was higher in small mussels compared to large ones. At Station 1, the microplastic abundance in small mussels reached 5.80 ± 0.72 particles/g, while in large mussels it was 1.22 ± 0.88 particles/g. A similar pattern was also found at Station 2 with values of 4.78 ± 2.15 and 0.58 ± 0.41 particles/g, respectively. Microplastics in the water and the hepatopancreas of green mussels were dominated by fiber types with a percentage of 95–100%, and the color variation was dominated by black. The identified microplastic polymers include polyester, polyvinyl acetate, nylon, spandex, and polyethylene, as well as natural polymers such as cellulose. This research demonstrates that green mussels have the potential to serve as bioindicators of pollution in aquatic environments and provides a foundation for further research on ecological impacts and marine environmental health. Therefore, there is a need to improve plastic waste management in the Gunung Jati coastal area, as well as to educate the public on how to reduce the use of plastic waste and improve its management.

Abstract

Basically, body conditioning exercises are a physical preparation process designed to transform a dancer's body into a ready, flexible, and strong instrument for executing every dance movement. This research aims to describe and analyze the role of body conditioning in shaping the movement characteristics of students at Sanggar Tari Srimpi. I utilized a qualitative research method to examine this phenomenon naturally in the field. A choreographic approach was also applied to understand how physical exercise functions as a foundation for movement formation before entering the stage of dance composition. Data were collected through direct observation of the training process, in-depth interviews with the owner and instructors, and visual documentation. The results indicate that disciplined body conditioning, starting from warming up, somatic exercises for body awareness, to muscle strengthening, successfully develops movement characteristics that are fluid (luwes), precise, and calm (anteng). This proves that body conditioning is not merely a supplementary activity, but a crucial strategy for maintaining technical quality and professionalism among dancers in performing traditional dances

Abstract

The Rejang Adat Tumbu dance is a sacred dance unique to Tumbu Village. The Rejang Adat Tumbu dance is presented as a part of the Piodalan Ageng ceremony. This qualitative research aims to reveal the symbols that appear in the performance of the sacred dance during the Piodalan ceremony. Through phenomena arising from the Piodalan ceremony, the researcher employs ethnocoreology and Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic theory. Data were obtained through participant observation, unstructured interviews, documentary studies, and literature reviews. These methods were conducted by the researcher with community figures and religious ceremony leaders at Pura Batur, Banjar Tumbu Kaler. The results of this study indicate that the Ngembat movements to the right and left have a dual meaning: spiritually, as a special symbol of welcome from the angels who dance to greet the sesuwunan and ancestors during the Piodalan Ageng ceremony, and philosophically, symbolizing the ancestors' persistence in weaving pandan mats as a means of the Piodalan ceremony. This performance is an adaptation of the Awig-awig of Tumbu Village, based on the teachings of Tri Hita Karana, which aim to maintain the balance of the universe. The symbols revealed are expected to serve as a foundation for the community of Tumbu Village, emphasizing the importance of sincerity and wholeheartedness in conducting the Piodalan Ageng ceremony.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, particularly Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM), has had a significant impact on the software development process, including software testing activities. This study aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to identify and analyze various Generative AI-based software testing frameworks applied in Agile development environments. The literature search process was conducted in several major scientific databases, namely IEEE Xplore, Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar with a publication period of 2021–2026. Based on the selection process using the PRISMA method, 35 articles were obtained that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis results show that most studies utilize Large Language Models (LLM), machine learning, generative models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to support software test automation, such as test case generation, unit testing automation, and behavior-driven development testing. In addition, several studies also developed AI assistant and agentic AI-based frameworks that can be integrated into Agile development pipelines. This study found that the use of Generative AI can improve testing process efficiency, accelerate test case generation, and help improve software quality. However, several challenges remain, such as limited model accuracy, the need for high-quality datasets, and issues with the security and reliability of AI-based systems

Abstract

Educational quality is the result of a structured and sustainable management system involving all stakeholders. Alumni, as both the product and the representation of an institution, possess strategic potential to support quality improvement; however, their role is rarely formally integrated into quality management frameworks based on empowerment theory. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of alumni empowerment, identify its contribution to educational quality, and formulate an integrative conceptual model based on Empowerment Theory and Total Quality Management (TQM). This research employs a qualitative approach with an intrinsic case study design at the Miftahul Ulum Al-Yasini Foundation, Pasuruan Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. Analysis of graduate data for the 2020–2024 period shows a total of 2,426 alumni, with a growth rate of 105.5% over the last three years. Interestingly, it was found that 60–65% of the teaching staff are internal alumni, reflecting a strong structural integration that has yet to be formally managed within a quality assurance system. This study produces an alumni empowerment model based on Empowerment-TQM, which positions alumni as strategic actors within the continuous quality improvement cycle. As a primary practical recommendation, the institution should immediately develop formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and an integrated alumni data management system to convert alumni potential into a measurable force for quality assurance. This study provides a new theoretical contribution through the conceptual integration of empowerment theory and Islamic education quality management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) policy in enhancing the accountability of the Pasuruan Regency Government. SIPD is a digital instrument designed to integrate planning, budgeting, and reporting processes to promote transparent and accountable governance. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The analysis is based on Edward III’s policy implementation theory, which includes communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, and is complemented by Grindle’s perspective on policy content and context. The findings indicate that the implementation of SIPD in Pasuruan Regency has been carried out but has not yet been fully optimized in improving overall accountability. The main challenges lie in ineffective communication, limited human resources and technological infrastructure, and suboptimal coordination among local government agencies. Nevertheless, SIPD has contributed to enhancing transparency and the traceability of administrative processes. This study concludes that the success of SIPD implementation is strongly influenced by organizational readiness and the quality of supporting resources. Therefore, strengthening human resource capacity, improving technological infrastructure, and optimizing inter-agency coordination are necessary to enhance the effectiveness of SIPD in supporting government accountability. Practically, this study recommends that the Pasuruan Regency Government accelerate the strengthening of human resource capacity through continuous technical training and the provision of adequate server infrastructure.

Abstract

The conflict of norms between the Minangkabau customary law system and national land law as manifested in Civil Decision Number 155/Pdt.G/2023/PN. CEO. The land object of dispute is the high inheritance of the Andah people who have been bound by the pagang gadai relationship since 1945, so customarily it is not free to be transferred. Nonetheless, a series of buying and selling transactions were carried out by individuals who did not have customary capacity, which ultimately resulted in the issuance of Certificates of Ownership and name change to parties outside the race. Using normative legal research methods and case study approaches, this study analyzes three dimensions of the problem: the validity of the transaction of buying and selling high-quality inherited land that has not been certified, the legality of the issuance of ownership certificates over customary land, and the validity of the process of changing the name of the certificate. The analytical framework used includes the theory of accountability, the theory of legal certainty, and the theory of justice. The results of the study show that the three processes contain multiple legal defects, namely violations of customary authorities, the absence of substantive verification by the National Land Agency (BPN), and the transfer of legal burdens between rights holders who are not in equal status. This study recommends the harmonization of the national land registration mechanism with customary law norms through the obligation of substantive customary verification before the issuance of certificates.

Abstract

Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation (hereinafter the Job Creation Law) has fundamentally transformed business licensing governance in the marine sector. Through the Omnibus Law approach, this law centralizes authority that was previously decentralized to regional governments, particularly regarding marine spatial utilization licensing and regional levy collection. This study aims to examine the synchronization and harmonization of legal norms in the hierarchy of legislation after the enactment of the Job Creation Law in the marine sector, and to identify its legal implications for fiscal decentralization and Regional Original Revenue (PAD). This research employs a normative legal research method with a statutory approach. The findings indicate that the Job Creation Law creates a contradiction in terminis between norms granting authority in formal laws and norms limiting their implementation in implementing regulations, resulting in regulatory gaps at the regional level. Fiscal centralization through Government Regulation Number 85 of 2021 implies the loss of regional government potential revenue from the marine sector, estimated at IDR 205 billion from a single instrument alone, and worsens fiscal capacity disparities between regions. The regulatory framework needs refinement through proportional delegation of authority to regional governments, combined with administrative discretion under strict oversight and the formulation of local initiative regulations to address existing legal gaps.

Abstract

The Commitment Making Officer (PPK) in government procurement activities carries a fundamental dual legal standing: as a state administrative official subject to the public law regime, and simultaneously as a government representative bound in civil law relationships. This duality creates real legal accountability complexities, particularly when the fulfillment of public law obligations—namely the follow-up of the State Audit Board (BPK) recommendations—conflicts with previously agreed contractual obligations. This study aims to analyze the legal implications of BPK audit recommendation follow-up on PPK civil liability and to examine the mechanisms and obstacles in executing court judgments ordering regional governments to pay compensation to goods/services providers. The study employs normative-empirical legal research with a case study approach focusing on Civil Case Decision Number 22/PDT.G.S-2022-PN PDG at the Padang District Court. Results show that: first, the breach of contract arising from contract value deductions without a valid addendum constitutes the liability of the government as a public legal entity not PPK's personal liability based on the faute de service theory; second, execution of court judgments against regional governments faces structural obstacles including prohibition on government asset seizure and the regional budget mechanism, rendering compensation fulfillment entirely dependent on the regional government's good faith.
