Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of social media as a digital business platform on entrepreneurial interest in IUQI students. This study uses quantitative methods, the sample in this study were students of Institut Ummul Quro Al-Islami Bogor totaling 94 respondents, data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, observations, and interviews using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques in this study used validity tests, reliability tests, Chi-Square tests. Based on the result of the study, it shows that the p-value of pearson chi-square 552.626 > t-tabel value 1.66123, rejecting Ho and accepting Ha. So, student interest in entrepreneurship is significantly influenced by social media variables. It can be concluded that the higher the utilization of social media in students, the higher the interest in entrepreneurship

Abstract

Background of this research is about the industry, which is very important in today's era so that society can improve their well-being to meet their daily needs. From this background, the researcher focuses on the issue of underprivileged communities, specifically in Grimulya Village. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of Po Dua Elang Makmur Industry in Grimulya Village in improving the welfare of the community. The research method used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method. This study aims to describe and explain a situation that is currently happening based on facts and information obtained from the field, then analyzed based on variables, with the data source being the employees of Po Dua Elang Makmur. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the presence of Po Dua Elang Makmur has brought many positive impacts to the community. The conclusion of this research indicates that the role of Po Dua Elang Makmur Industry is very important in improving the welfare of the community in Grimulya Village

Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have become a successful pillar of the Indonesian economy and achieved significant progress. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how competitiveness and product innovation affect the expansion of MSMEs in TegalWaru Village, Ciampea, Bogor. The method used is quantitative by applying the Slovin Formula Technique, and conducting data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed that product innovation and competitiveness significantly influenced the performance of MSMEs in TegalWaru Village, Ciampea, Bogor. F analysis showed a calculated F value of 86,705 with a significance of 0.000, indicating that the two independent variables, namely product innovation and competitiveness, jointly have a positive effect on the development of MSMEs. Among the two, the competitiveness variable has the most dominant influence, indicated by a calculated t value of 10.034 and a significance probability of 0.000. MSMEs are one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy that must continue to be strengthened. Thus, it can be concluded that together, product innovation and competitiveness have a significant influence on the development of MSMEs

Abstract

This research is motivated by the intense competition between entrepreneurs to increase sales of a product. Promotion is one of the strategies used in increasing product sales. The purpose of this study was to determine whether promotion and product diversification affect purchasing decisions at Superkue Cake and Bakery Leuwiliang. This research is a quantitative study that uses statistical analysis techniques such as validity tests, reliability tests, and chi-square tests. The results of the study of the chi-square test value of promotion with a purchase decision of 11.797 significance 0.001 <0.005. Furthermore, between diversification and purchasing decisions with the chi-square test results of 22.052 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. It can be concluded that promotion and product diversification carried out simultaneously have a major influence on consumer purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study examines Islamic marketing strategies that integrate ethical principles and technology tosupport the sustainability of Islamic businesses in Garut Regency. The main focus of the research is toanalyze the challenges faced by Islamic business actors in the area, such as the consistent application of Islamic ethics, the underutilization of technology, and competition with conventional businesses.Additionally, factors such as the lack of market education and digital infrastructure pose significantbarriers to enhancing the competitiveness of Islamic businesses in Garut Regency. This research uses aqualitative method with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews with Islamic businessactors in Garut Regency, observations of marketing practices, and document analysis. The findingsindicate that collaboration between Islamic values and technological innovation can create moreeffective marketing strategies, expand market reach, and build consumer trust. The study providespractical recommendations for Islamic business actors in Garut Regency to enhance theircompetitiveness in facing global market dynamics while maintaining Islamic principles

Abstract

This study aims to examine the fiqh principles in the contracts of wadiah and ijarah and theirimplementation in Islamic banking. Wadiah itself is a contract between two parties where the first partyentrusts the authority and responsibility of property or goods to the second party without expecting anycompensation, while ijarah is a contract commonly used by financial institutions to facilitate leasing.The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study, where data is collectedthrough documentation such as classical books, contemporary works, scientific journals, and others.The research results show that there are several fiqh principles that align with the wadiah and ijarahcontracts, such as Adh-dhararu Yuzal, Al-Kharaj Bidhmman, al-ghurmu bilghumni, and others.Additionally, the implementation of wadiah is recognized in forms such as wadiah current accounts and wadiah savings accounts, while in ijarah, it is known through ijarah muntahiyya bittamlik and ijarahmutlaqah

Abstract

The rapidly evolving digital ecosystem has created new challenges in the world of business competition, especially in relation to monopolies and market dominance by large platforms. Anti-competitive practices such as predatory pricing, data hoarding, and the use of algorithms to regulate the market further exacerbate competitive inequality. This research aims to analyse the role of law in balancing business competition in the digital era, focusing on the regulations needed to ensure fair competition in the digital ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method, this research examines competition regulations implemented in various countries, as well as the challenges faced in their implementation in the digital market. Data was obtained through literature study and comparison of regulations between the European Union, the United States, and Indonesia. The research findings show that while regulations such as the Digital Markets Act (DMA) in the European Union and the Antimonopoly Law in Indonesia have provided a legal basis for regulating competition, there are still gaps in addressing the dominance of digital platforms that hinder fair competition. Therefore, this study suggests the need for improvements in regulation that are more adaptive to digital dynamics, emphasising the importance of transparency, non-discrimination and sustainability principles to create a fairer market. This research provides important insights for policy development that can strengthen competition in the digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The low level of Islamic economic literacy in Indonesia presents a significant challenge for Islamic education, given that the majority of the population is Muslim. This study aims to critically examine efforts to integrate the values of Islamic economics into the Islamic education curriculum through a qualitative descriptive approach based on literature review. Data were collected from various academic literature and official curriculum documents. The findings of the study indicate that values of Islamic economics such as justice, social responsibility, and anti-usury are highly relevant to be instilled in education. Integration strategies identified include an integrated curriculum, specialized subjects, contextual approaches, and Islamic extracurricular activities. However, the implementation of integration faces obstacles such as limited teacher competence, teaching materials, and national policy support. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of education in shaping a Muslim generation that is not only religious but also has ethical and practical economic awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of net contributions and investment returns on the underwriting surplus of tabarru' funds in Islamic life insurance in Indonesia. Islamic insurance, which is based on the principles of mutual protection (takaful) and mutual help (ta'awun), has shown significant growth in recent years, especially amid increasing public awareness of sharia-compliant financial products. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis method with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) estimation. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The population in this study consisted of 30 sharia life insurance companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian Sharia Insurance Association (AASI) during the 2014-2023 period, of which 27 companies met the established criteria. The results showed that net contributions and investment returns had a significant effect partially or simultaneously on the underwriting surplus of tabarru' funds.

Abstract

Good corporate governance plays an important role in increasing the profitability of a financial institution, especially through the supervisory mechanism by the independent board of commissioners and the strategic policies implemented by the board of directors. The main focus of the research is to analyze the effect of corporate governance on profitability (ROA) with a comparative study between Islamic commercial banks and conventional commercial banks in the 2019-2023 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods and the form of data used is panel data. The results showed that simultaneously the independent board of commissioners and the board of directors had a significant influence on profitability (ROA) in Islamic commercial banks and conventional commercial banks. Partially, the independent board of commissioners and the board of directors at Islamic commercial banks have a significant influence on profitability (ROA). While in conventional commercial banks, only the board of directors has a significant effect on profitability (ROA), while the independent board of commissioners does not have a significant impact. These findings indicate that corporate governance contributes to profitability, with different patterns of influence between the two types of banks.
