This study also aims at describing the completeness of major and minor supporting sentences in the body paragraphs of the process essay developed. The design of the study is qualitative descriptive, the object of the study was the paragraphs written by the fourth semester students of the English Education Study Program of Universitas PGRI Semarang. Documentation was used to collect the data, that is in the form of paragraphs taken from LMS Forum submitted by the students in groups. The data was then analyzed by using qualitative data analysis consisting of data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of the study shows that in writing the process essay in the introduction, the students used two techniques, namely common problem and series of question; chronological order was mostly used to support the thesis statement in the body paragraphs; and in concluding paragraphs, the students conclude the essay by paraphrasing the thesis statements and summarizing the main points in the body paragraphs. Moreover, in developing the paragraphs, there are 7 paragraphs or 41,18% which reach completeness. Moreover, 8 or 47,06 % paragraphs are categorized half complete, and 2 or 11,76 paragraphs are categorized incomplete. Abstract

Village governments have an important role in national development, but still face various challenges in improving human and organizational resources. In addition, the village government also plays a crucial role in the management and development of rural areas. To improve the effectiveness of village government performance, it is necessary to make efforts to improve existing human resources. This study aims to develop a model for increasing village government resources based on recognition of past learning (RPL). RPL is a process of acknowledging one's competence based on formal, non-formal and informal learning experiences. This model is expected to provide incentives for village apparatus to improve the quality of public services and community participation. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods with preliminary study stages, model development, model validation, and model trials. The results showed that the developed RPL model had four main components, namely: (1) village government competency standards; (2) process of identification, documentation and verification of competency; (3) certification and award mechanisms; and (4) continuous competency development program. This model received positive responses from experts and practitioners, and had a positive impact on increasing the motivation, performance and capacity of village apparatus in trials conducted in Blora Regency, Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the must-have abilities students in the 21st century must have. Critical thinking is one of the high-level thinking according to (Zembal-Saul et al., 2002) high order thinking is a combination of critical thinking, creative thinking, and basic knowledge thinking. Critical thinking means putting yourself in an active quest to understand what is going on by using reasoning procedures, evaluating evidence, and carefully weighing the thought process itself. In fact, students still have difficulty thinking critically of mathematics. This paper examines scaffolding as one of the efforts to improve critical thinking skills. Scaffolding can be given to students in the form of modeling certain behaviors (modeling of desired behaviors), presenting explanations (offering explanations), inviting student participation (inviting student participation), verifying and clarifying student understandings, and inviting students to contribute clues. In principle scaffolding is given then the provision of scaffolding is reduced and ultimately eliminated after the student has gained understanding.

Abstract

The students’ literacy became lower since the hybrid learning also has its weaknesses, namely students feel bored because the learning process is monotonous and less interesting. Thus, the students are not interested in learning and completing learning carried out in e-learning. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of learningproject-based learning assisted by peer assessment in hybrid learning to improve students' critical thinking skills as the implementation of literacy practices. The study uses the posttest only control group design. The population of this study was all second semester English Education Study Program students in PGRI University of Palembang, totaling 170 students. Descriptive statistical analysis techniques are used to describe the data obtained. The hypothesis testing used is the t-test to test the significant level of the influence of the independent variables partially on the dependent variable. The test is carried out by comparing t-count with t-table. The results of the analysis show that the value of Sig. obtained less than 0.05. This means that there are differences in students' critical thinking skills being taught project-based learning(PBL) assisted by peers with students who are taught without learning project-based learning(PBL) assisted by peers. The implications of this research are that it is hoped that with this learning model students will learn more actively in building their own knowledge as the literacy processes which will have an impact on critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The era of digital transformation has brought major changes to the world of education, including in the learning system, teaching process, and the use of digital technology in schools. Although it is expected that there will be an increase in teacher performance, various challenges are still faced, such as limited digital competence, gaps in access to technology, and low student achievement in international assessments. This study aims to examine the role of inclusive leadership in improving teacher performance in responding to the challenges of the Digital Transformation Era. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study method, this study analyzes various scientific publications that focus on inclusive leadership, teacher performance, and digital transformation in education. The results of the study show that inclusive leadership, which is characterized by openness, empathy, and collaboration, is able to create a supportive and adaptive work environment, empower teachers, strengthen digital literacy, and encourage learning innovation. Inclusive leaders are able to understand the diversity of teacher readiness, provide space for professional development, and create a sense of psychological safety. In conclusion, inclusive leadership is an effective strategy in improving teacher performance in the era of digital transformation, which has an impact on the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes.

Teacher performance is still low. Many factors affect teacher performance, both internal and external. Many theories explain the relationship between these factors and teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the determination of teacher performance, which is related to leadership style through job satisfaction and moderated by work commitment to the performance of public junior high school teachers in Semarang. This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is correlational research. The population of the research are 3.646 teachers and the sample of this study are 360 junior high school teachers in Semarang. The determination of the sample uses proportional random sampling. The dependent variable of the study is teacher performance. The intervening variable is job satisfaction, the moderating variable is work commitment and the independent variable consists of leadership style. The data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple and multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, hypothesis test and path analysis. The results shows that there is a significant direct influence between Leadership style (X) has a positive effect on teacher performance (Y). There was a significant direct influence that leadership style (X) has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction (M). Leadership style (X) has an indirect effect on teacher performance (Y) through teacher job satisfaction (M). Organizational commitment (R) moderates indirectly between teacher job satisfaction (M) and teacher performance (Y). Research suggestions a) are expected to be able to develop or add indicators to the leadership style variable on teacher job satisfaction and performance in this study, b) This research model can be developed to improve teacher performance, especially leadership style, job satisfaction and work commitment in junior high school teachers in Semarang.

Abstract

Psychosocial services in primary schools are vital for a more inclusive and equitable education but still remain largely absent within Indonesia, for they cause an important gap when they do not quite meet children’s emotional and behavioral needs. This study aims to examine the urgency and relevance of psychosocial support in Indonesian primary education. Using a systematic literature review of national and international journals published between 2020 and 2025, the study synthesizes empirical findings on children’s psychosocial development, the roles and limitations of primary school teachers, and effective school-based mental health interventions globally. Results reveal that the lack of structured psychosocial services affects children’s emotional well-being negatively. Addressing these issues also places an unsustainable burden upon untrained teachers. A comparative analysis of countries such as Finland, South Korea, and South Africa highlights some successful models that integrate mental health support within the school systems. Indonesia risks obstructing holistic young learner development without urgent policy changes, teacher capacity building, and strong school-community collaboration, the study concludes. Key recommendations include teachers implementing basic psychosocial training, school communities establishing collaborative networks, and integrating mental health policies within national education frameworks to promote sustainable and inclusive primary education.
