Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work experience, education level, and training on employee career development in PT Telkom Indonesia Brebes-Tegal-Slawi Region. The research method used was an associative quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires to 150 randomly selected respondents. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous influence between variables. The results show that work experience, education level, and training have a positive and significant effect on career development both partially and simultaneously. A coefficient of determination value (R²) of 0.65 indicates that 65% of career development variations can be explained by these three variables. Among the three, training is the most dominant factor influencing employee career development. These findings confirm the importance of corporate investment in relevant training programs as well as support for improving employee education and work experience as a strategy to accelerate career development and improve organizational performance. In addition, the results of this research are expected to be a reference for management in designing sustainable human resource development policies that are adaptive to changes in the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of tabarru funds in sharia health insurance and the sharia health insurance claims process at Bank Muamalat Syariah. The method used in this study is a literature study method, and through a qualitative descriptive approach. Sharia Health Insurance has a solid legal basis, firmly rooted in the principles of Islamic sharia (ta'awun, avoiding gharar and usury) and supported by positive Indonesian law (Law No. 40 of 2014) and DSN-MUI Fatwas (No. 21, 52, 53) which regulate general guidelines, Wakalah bil Ujrah contracts, and Tabarru' contracts. All operations are based on the main principles of Takaful (mutual responsibility), Wakalah (representation), and Tabarru' (voluntary contribution) for the benefit of the community broadly and sustainably. In practice, Bank Muamalat's Sumber Branch, in collaboration with trusted insurance partners, strictly manages the Tabarru' Fund, which is separated from the company's funds and invested in halal instruments such as Sukuk and Sharia Deposits. To ensure fairness, the Claims Process is designed to be efficient through a Cashless or Rembes mechanism, while still implementing strict health history verification (anti-fraud) to exclude pre-existing conditions, ensure transparency, and ensure compliance with the agreed-upon agreements to maintain participant trust.

The results reveal that the MBKM Internship Program has a positive and significant effect on both internship experience and students’ work readiness. Soft skills have a positive and significant effect on internship experience but do not directly influence work readiness. Furthermore, internship experience has a positive and significant effect on work readiness and acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between the MBKM program and soft skills with work readiness. This study provides practical contributions for students in optimizing internship experiences and soft skill development, for universities in evaluating MBKM program implementation, and for industries in designing internship programs that are relevant to labor market demands

Abstract

Business governance refers to the way a business is managed in a structured, transparent, and accountable manner to achieve its objectives. Price is one of the key elements in determining customer satisfaction. Clear pricing information influences customers’ perceived value, which ultimately impacts their level of satisfaction. Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of price transparency as part of business governance and its impact on customer satisfaction in MSME barbershops. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consist of business owners, employees, and customers. The findings reveal that price transparency has begun to be implemented; however, it is not yet applied consistently. Customers generally have positive perceptions of price transparency, as it enhances trust and provides a sense of comfort. Furthermore, price transparency plays a significant role in improving customer satisfaction by reducing uncertainty, increasing trust, and creating a more positive service experience. This study confirms that price transparency is a crucial element of customer-oriented business governance in the MSME service sector.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Green Ambidexterity Innovation (GAI), Strategic Stakeholder Alliance (SSA), and Green Human Resource Management Practices (GHRMP) on Sustainable Green Competitive Advantage (SGCA) and Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pamekasan, Indonesia. With increasing global competition and the need for environmentally sustainable practices, SMEs face the challenge of balancing innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed-method approach, this research employs both quantitative surveys of 100 SME managers and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Quantitative data analysis is conducted through WarpPLS 7.0, focusing on both the inner and outer models of the relationships among variables. Findings indicate that Green HRM Practices significantly positively impact SGCA, while Green Ambidexterity Innovation and Strategic Stakeholder Alliances demonstrate weaker or insignificant effects on SGCA. Moreover, SGCA does not significantly influence SBP. These results suggest that while Green HRM Practices can enhance competitive advantage, a more nuanced approach may be required for SMEs to fully leverage innovation and stakeholder collaboration for long-term sustainable business performance. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on green strategies in SMEs, offering practical recommendations for business leaders to integrate sustainability into their operational strategies. The study aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8, 9, 12, and 13, aiming for responsible production and climate action.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Transglobal Leadership Intelligence (TGLI) on Sustainable Tourism Competitiveness, focusing on its influence through three mediating variables: Innovative Work Behavior (IWB), Work Engagement (WE), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Conducted in Pamekasan, this research aims to explore how TGLI can enhance the competitiveness of sustainable tourism by fostering innovation, employee engagement, and organizational citizenship within small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (SMEs). A quantitative approach, employing surveys from 190 tourism SME managers in Pamekasan, was used to gather data, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study examines the relationships between TGLI and the targeted outcomes to provide a deeper understanding of the mechanisms driving sustainable tourism competitiveness in the context of globalization and organizational innovation. The results indicate that while TGLI positively influences IWB and OCB, it does not significantly affect Sustainable Tourism Competitiveness. Moreover, IWB, WE, and OCB did not show significant direct effects on tourism competitiveness, suggesting that external factors like government policies and resource management play a more dominant role. This research offers valuable insights for tourism SMEs and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of global leadership capabilities and internal organizational dynamics in enhancing sustainable tourism.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Green Servant Leadership (GSL) on the Sustainable Business Performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on its influence through two mediating variables: Green Work Engagement (GWE) and Green Self-Efficacy (GSE). Conducted in Pamekasan, Indonesia, the research seeks to examine how Green Servant Leadership can promote organizational sustainability by fostering employee engagement in environmentally friendly practices and enhancing individual self-efficacy in performing green behaviors. A quantitative approach, using surveys from 199 SME managers in Pamekasan, was employed to collect data, which was analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using WarpPLS software. This study investigates the relationships between GSL, GWE, GSE, Employees' Workplace Green Behavior (EWGB), and Sustainable Business Performance to provide insights into how leadership and employee engagement can drive sustainable business practices in SMEs. The findings reveal that Green Servant Leadership positively influences Green Work Engagement and Employees' Workplace Green Behavior but does not significantly impact Green Self-Efficacy or Sustainable Business Performance. The research highlights the complex interplay between leadership styles, employee engagement, and environmental behaviors, offering valuable guidance for SME leaders aiming to integrate sustainability into their business strategies.
