Abstract

Early childhood education requires engaging and interactive learning media to enchance student’s motivation and participation. However, learning activities in many kindergartens are still dominated by conventional methods, which are less effective in attracting children’s attention. This study aims to design and implement a web-based interactive educational game as an alternative learning medium for early childhood education. This research applies the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature review to identify user needs and evaluate the system. The educational game was developed using web-based technologies, enabling easy access through a browser without additional installation. The results show that the developed educational game improves children’s learning interest and engagement during the learning process. The system is also considered user-friendly and suitable for early childhood characteristics, both in terms of interface design and interactivity. Therefore, the web-based educational game is feasible and effective as an alternative learning medium to support early childhood education.

Abstract

Social media platforms like TikTok have been utilized as a means of information dissemination and digital promotion due to their ability to reach a broad, interactive audience. However, the adoption rate of technology, particularly TikTok, among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jambi City is low. This condition is influenced by limited digital literacy, lack of understanding of technology benefits, and low readiness to utilize available features. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors influencing the decision to adopt TikTok by MSMEs in Jambi City by applying the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) model. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0, and involving 100 MSME respondents in Jambi City. The results showed that of the three hypotheses tested, one was accepted, namely organizational factors have a positive and significant effect on TikTok adoption. In contrast, the other two hypotheses were rejected, namely technological and environmental factors do not show significant influence on the decision to adopt TikTok. These findings suggest that internal factors, such as organizational readiness and support from business owners, are the main drivers of TikTok adoption by MSMEs compared to external factors.

Abstract

Radio Gagak Rimang is a Local Public Broadcasting Institution (LPPL) owned by the Blora Regency Government that serves the function of disseminating public information, preserving local culture, and providing entertainment for the community. Objectively and systematically measuring listener satisfaction is a fundamental necessity to maintain sustainability and improve broadcast quality. This study applies the Decision Tree algorithm with the Gini Index criterion to classify listener satisfaction levels based on three main attributes: signal quality, content quality, and presenter quality. Data were collected through a survey of 200 respondents in Blora Regency using a Likert scale questionnaire (1-5). The satisfaction target variable was classified into three classes: Fairly Satisfied, Satisfied, and Very Satisfied. The data were divided with an 80:20 ratio for model training and testing. The evaluation results show that the Decision Tree model achieved an accuracy of 90.00% on the test data and an average accuracy of 88.00% on 10-fold cross validation. The presenter quality attribute had the highest contribution to the classification process at 47.13%, followed by signal quality at 32.60%, and content quality at 17.97%. These findings demonstrate that the Decision Tree algorithm is effective as a decision-support tool for evaluating local radio listener satisfaction.

Abstract

Public services are one of the essential functions of village-level government as they are directly related to the needs of the community. However, in Pontap Village, Palopo City, service processes are still carried out manually, which often leads to obstacles such as service delays, difficulties in record-keeping, and limited access to information for residents. This study aims to design and develop a web-based public service information system to improve the efficiency and quality of services at the village office. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and utilizes MySQL as the database which is managed using HeidiSQL. System modeling was carried out using use case diagrams and activity diagrams, while testing was conducted using the black-box testing approach to ensure that all functions operate according to specifications. The resulting system provides community complaint services, administrative letter services, and information on health service schedules such as posyandu and puskesmas activities. It is expected that this system will facilitate residents in accessing information, accelerate service processes, and improve data accuracy through an integrated digital platform. This research is expected to serve as a solution to support the digitalization of public services in Pontap Village and to become a reference for the development of similar systems in other regions.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based boarding house search application that can provide boarding house information quickly, accurately, and easily accessed by the public, especially students and migrant workers. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, encompassing user needs analysis, system design, application development, implementation, and system testing. The application is designed with key features such as searching for boarding houses based on location, price, facilities, and room availability, making it easier for users to make choices based on their needs. Furthermore, the application also provides features for boarding house owners to manage and promote their properties digitally. The application development process was conducted using the Android Studio platform with an integrated database to support real-time information management. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure all application functions run according to user needs. The results show that the developed application can improve the efficiency of the boarding house search process, accelerate information access, and facilitate boarding house owners in promoting and managing property data. Therefore, this application is expected to be an effective digital solution to support mobile-based housing search services.

Abstract

Information technology services have an important role in supporting operational activities and digital services at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel through the MyPertamina application. However, several service disruptions are still encountered, such as server downtime, database errors, system bugs, login failures, and delays in transaction verification, which affect service quality and operational effectiveness. This study aims to analyze the maturity level of information technology services using the ITIL V4 framework, focusing on Incident Management and Problem Management practices. The research employed a mixed methods approach with descriptive analysis through observation, interviews, questionnaires, SWOT analysis, RACI mapping, maturity level assessment, and gap analysis. The results indicate that Incident Management obtained a maturity value of 3.09 and Problem Management obtained 2.91, both categorized at Level 3 (Defined Process). These findings show that service management processes have been implemented and documented properly, although several aspects still require improvement, particularly in monitoring, documentation, root cause analysis, and process evaluation. Therefore, the implementation of ITIL V4 practices is expected to improve the effectiveness, consistency, and quality of information technology service management within the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an information system strategic planning model for PT Athria Cipta Mandiri using the Ward and Peppard method. The research was conducted because the company still faces several problems in managing tender and construction project data, such as unintegrated systems between divisions, semi-digital administrative processes, repeated data input, the absence of a centralized database, and project reporting that has not been carried out in real time. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. The analysis was conducted using Value Chain, PESTEL, SWOT, Critical Success Factor, McFarlan Strategic Grid, and application portfolio recommendations. The results show that PT Athria Cipta Mandiri needs an integrated information system for tender and project management, web-based project reporting and monitoring, a document management system, business intelligence dashboard, centralized cloud database, and stronger IT governance. The proposed strategy is expected to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, inter-division coordination, and data-based managerial decision making.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven higher education institutions to manage their digital presence professionally, particularly through quality website management as a representation of institutional identity. Preliminary observations of the Universitas Graha Karya (UGK) website (ugk.ac.id) identified several issues, including inconsistent page layouts, inactive hyperlinks, and irregularly updated content. This study aims to analyze the quality of the UGK website based on three WebQual 4.0 dimensions—usability, information quality, and service interaction quality—and to determine improvement priorities using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 308 active students selected via purposive sampling using the Slovin formula at a 5% margin of error. Data analysis included validity testing, reliability testing, WebQual 4.0 analysis, gap analysis, and IPA Cartesian diagram mapping. Results indicate negative grand mean gap values across all dimensions, with service interaction quality recording the largest gap (-0.16), followed by information quality and usability (both -0.01). IPA mapping identified five indicators in Quadrant I as the main improvement priorities: ease of menu navigation (U2), relevance of academic information (IQ2), clarity of information language (IQ4), website access security (SI1), and ease of contacting administrators (SI4). The study concludes that UGK's website quality has not fully met user expectations and requires structured, user-oriented improvements.

Abstract

The Jambi Class II Climatological Station is the agency responsible for providing climate data and information to the public and relevant agencies. In practice, the process of handling data requests is still carried out conventionally, resulting in relatively long processing times for document management, archiving, and user service. This situation has led to several challenges, such as inefficient administrative processes, a high risk of document loss, and limitations in monitoring the status of data requests. This study aims to design a web-based Data Service Information System that can support the digitalisation of climate data services at the Class II Jambi Climatology Station. The system development method used is the prototype method, as it allows the development process to be carried out in stages based on user needs. The system design was carried out using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) as a modelling tool to describe system requirements, process flows, and user interactions with the system. The design results show that the developed system is capable of facilitating the online submission of data requests, tracking the status of requests, and managing the service database in a more structured manner. The system also provides a digital archiving feature that simplifies the management and retrieval of data request documents. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of service processes, speed up data request processing times, enhance service transparency, and support improvements in the quality of public services at the Class IV Jambi Climatological Station.

Abstract

Currently, the management of the damaged goods reporting at the Class 1A Jambi District Court still relies on manual procedures through verbal communication and physical logbooks. This mechanism is prone to recording errors, risks of document loss, and complicates real-time monitoring of repair statuses. This study aims to design a web-based Damaged Goods Reporting Information System to improve the effectiveness, transparency, and efficiency of internal asset management. The research method employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, observations, and documentation. System development implements the Waterfall model, comprising requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The result of the study deliver a web-based application that integrates features for report input, proof of damage photo uploads, admin validation, and real-time monitoring of repair status. This system successfully simplifies bureaucratic workflows, accelerates response times for damage handling, and minimizes administrative errors.
