Abstract

PT Developer XYZ is a company engaged in housing development and property construction services. The company faces several challenges in human resource (HR) management due to the use of manual systems, such as the accumulation of application files and the risk of attendance data manipulation. This research aims to design and develop a web-based HR information system using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology with various features, including HR data management, digital recruitment, online leave requests, task management, and digital archiving. The system is built using web-based technology, with Express for the backend, React for the frontend, and MySQL as the database. The results of this research successfully implemented a system that reduces the time and resources required, enhances transparency, improves data accuracy, and facilitates easier access to HR-related documentation.

Abstract

Mekarsari Kindergarten is a private school that was founded in 2015 with C accreditation and has one classroom located in Cipluk Sidokumpul Hamlet, Patean Kendal District, Central Java. As for the information system for receipts and expenditures in educational institutions, which still uses a manual system, in the data input process until the report is still written in recording financial transactions, especially in cash receipts and expenditures, by recording cash receipts and disbursements on receipts, then the information is summarized and recorded in the cash ledger. This makes the cycle spend most of its time in presenting financial reports, data discrepancies and large levels of errors can occur due to the large number of transactions that have been carried out, and double or double recording occurs if recorded manually. In addition, the speed of data input to report information may be late if needed at any time. This research aims to design a cash flow information system using the cash basis method, which makes it easier to record cash receipts and disbursements at Kindergarten Mekarsari Sidokumpul Patean Kendal using a computerized system. Building an effective and efficient information system in presenting financial reports. And minimize errors and deficiencies in input because every money received is immediately recorded into the system.

Abstract

Sayur Box Company, which is engaged in the distribution of fresh food online, faces challenges in optimizing the use of information systems to support increasingly complex business operations. This study aims to design a strategic planning of information systems (SI) using the Ward Method for clustering and the Peppard Method for SI strategies that support the sustainability and growth of the company. By analyzing the functional and non-functional needs of the information system, as well as the application of both methods, this study produces strategic recommendations for the development of more integrated and effective SI at Sayur Box. The results show the importance of the role of information systems in optimizing operational efficiency, strengthening customer service, and improving data-based strategic decisions.

Abstract

In the technology industry, PT Harrasima Inventory Logistic is a company that distributes rental items. PT Harrasima Inventory Logistic's human resource management is subpar, according to the findings of observers. According to the author, bureaucracy can use management information systems to enhance decision-making, organizational performance, rapid information dissemination, and other operational tasks.

Abstract

Enhancing understanding and awareness of traffic safety is a critical challenge, particularly among younger generations. This study aims to develop a real-time Augmented Reality (AR)-based traffic sign simulation application integrated with gamification elements to improve user engagement and comprehension. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach involving 30 respondents as application users. The development process included needs analysis, user interface design using a user-centered approach, implementation of markerless tracking technology, and integration of time-based challenges and virtual rewards as gamification elements. The testing results indicated a 30% improvement in post-test scores compared to pre-test scores, demonstrating the application's effectiveness in enhancing users' understanding of traffic signs. This application is not only relevant for formal education in schools but also holds potential as an innovative tool for traffic safety campaigns. The study supports the theory that the integration of AR and gamification can create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Abstract

Sukamiskin Village is one of the villages in the Arcamanik sub-district of Bandung City. Population data is very useful as a basis for policy making to improve the economy, determine security facilities, improve infrastructure, and so on. One of the community institutions that have the task of collecting population data is the Rukun Tetangga (RT) management. The application of the Power Business Intelligence (Power BI) application in analyzing population data in Sukamiskin Village by taking sample data in Sukamiskin village RT.01 RW.06. The population data analyzed includes information such as population size, age distribution, education level, gender, marital status and employment status. This study aims to provide a clear picture or visualization of population data in Sukamiskin village RT.01 RW.06 using the Microsoft Power BI application with the stages of collecting data, entering data, modeling data, and visualizing data. The results of this research are in the form of a dashboard/summary report and detailed report on the population data of the Sukamiskin village RT.01 RW.06. The results of the analysis show that Power BI is able to present data comprehensively and assist in strategic decision making at the village level. Abstract

The company PT. Agung Sumatera Samudera Abadi (ASSA) Sibolga sales system still uses a manual system using notebooks. So that it can slow down the way employees work and become ineffective. limitations in monitoring and controlling stock in real-time and fish stock supplies also often occur shortages or excesses which can result in losses. The shortage of fish stock is caused by the frequency of fish demand being greater than the stock provided. While the excess fish stock is caused by the frequency of fish demand being less than the stock provided. so using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Just In Time (JIT) methods which are used to optimize and minimize inventory and manage fish stock at PT.ASSA by reducing excess inventory and shortages, and facilitating the inventory control process in real-time. The results of this study are in the form of a computerized system used to determine fish inventory using the EOQ and JIT methods. From the calculation results of the two methods, the final results of the EOQ method were obtained with a message frequency of 14 times a month with a quantity of fish messages of 4,565,650 Kg, while the JIT method was obtained with a message frequency of 6 times a month with a quantity of 2,262,548 Kg and with a reserve stock of 1,866,602 Kg.

Abstract

For prospective students, SMK Harapan Stabat offers five main subjects with a specialization system that does not require exams. The number of students majoring in office administration has increased, and majoring procedures have shifted from conventional assessments to skills-based assessments. The current method, however, is challenging, especially for the Assistant Curriculum Director because it relies on exam results reports. To solve this problem, this research creates a web-based application that uses the simple additional reduction (SAW) method. This application is intended to help school principals determine student majors more efficiently. The implementation results show that this application was well received by the students of SMK Harapan Stabat and can help them make decisions about their major. Currently, determining majors at SMK Harapan Stabat is not ideal because prospective students tend to choose majors according to their own wishes. In addition, schools only look at test scores without considering students' interests and talents as well as other factors that influence acceptance in certain majors. Collecting data on students' aptitudes, interests, and test scores is critical to improving this process. Therefore, to carry out more accurate calculations, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is needed. Schools can use this decision support system to make better decisions about the majors their students will take. Therefore, the choice of major is expected to be more appropriate to students' abilities and interests to support their future success.

Abstract

Formula milk is packed with essential nutrients. It contains beneficial components such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, sodium, DHA, and more. High-quality formula milk should not lead to gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea, vomiting, or problems with digestion, nor should it cause coughing, breathing difficulties, or skin reactions due to an incorrect formula choice. This research aims to explore how mothers select suitable formula milk for their babies. The study utilizes the SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) method to determine alternative options based on pre-assigned weights and criteria. Following this, the ranking method is applied to identify the best alternative. According to the findings, five alternatives were evaluated: MORINAGA CHIL KID, LACTOGEN, SGM, BEBELOVE, and NUTRIBABY ROYAL 1. Additionally, five criteria were considered: Milk Price, Safety (Bpom Certification, Halal, etc.), Nutritional Content (Protein, Calcium, Iron, Vitamins, etc.), Taste (Natural Sweetness, Vanilla, Honey), and Market Availability.

Abstract

Education is one of the tools used to form a noble personality and discipline. Vocational High School is a school that is very influential on the formation of personal students. But in everyday reality many problems are increasingly complex, for example deviating from school rules, fights between students, cheating during exams. To form a high student discipline personality, a better school role is needed. In the current era of computerization, a system is needed that can facilitate the flow of information on violations of discipline so that the school can handle it quickly. With the existence of a website-based student violation report service application system at Purbalingga YPT 2 Vocational School, students are expected to be able to actively report the violation actions they have encountered, so the school quickly follows up. To describe this system model in the form of a context diagram and Data Flow Diagram (DFD). In implementing this student violation report service system, use php for the programming language and MySQL for the database.
