Abstract

The variety and convenience offered in these games means they can stay in front of the computer for a long time and their level of use is increasing. This increase in intensive playing and use of online games has given rise to various problems which are known among psychologists as online game addiction. Online games can make players forget time. This happens because the average player is too addicted, and many online game players use the act of playing games as a way to overcome boredom. This research explains the influence of online games on the learning mindset of 5th grade elementary school students, at MIS Nurul Hidayah Jln, Bukit Ngalau, Batu Gadang sub-district, Lubuk Gillian sub-district, Padang city. This research uses survey research methods, where research can find out whether there is an influence online game activities on learning patterns or students. The data collection technique used is to randomly give surveys to people who meet the criteria as respondents.

Abstract

This observation was carried out to find out the problems and use of learning media in Elementary School 13 Lolong Belanti. This observation uses a qualitative method. Elementary schools used in this observation include SDN 13 lolong belanti. From the data collected by observation techniques, interviews, and documentation using observation sheets and interview guides. The results of this observation indicate that the learning media problem in elementary school SDN 13 lolong belanti is that learning media are not yet available in the independent curriculum, there is no storage space so that the media is damaged, lost and not maintained, and the teacher's insights are limited in using the media. The use of media in the Lolong Belanti elementary school has not been maximized due to the availability of media in each school. In general, the use of media by teachers at SDN 13 lolong belanti is the use of media en masse or in groups in front of the class. Some teachers have used environmental media and used materials in learning.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) identify problems of thematic learning preparation in grade II of elementary school; (2) identify problems of implementing thematic learning in grade II of elementary school; and (3) identify problems in thematic learning assessment in grade II elementary schools. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative. This type of research is a case study. This research data collection technique is in the form of observation, interviews, documentation to identify problems in thematic learning in grade II SDN 07 Ulak Karang Selatan. Referring to the results of the study, it was concluded that grade II teachers of SDN 07 Ulak Karang Selatan experienced problems in the preparation of thematic learning, the implementation of thematic learning, to the assessment of thematic learning. . Based on the conclusions of the study, it was suggested that the School and the Padang City Education Office hold trainings on thematic learning. In addition, grade II teachers must be guided by: thematic learning provisions, thematic syllabus, student development level and the environment around students.

Abstract

Indonesia has been experiencing a learning crisis for quite a long time. The Covid 19 pandemic period is a special condition that causes learning to lag behind (learning loss). Curriculum implementation by educational units can use a curriculum that is appropriate to the learning needs of students and must pay attention to the achievement of student competencies in the educational unit in the context of learning recovery. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where the content will be more optimal so that students have sufficient time to deepen concepts and strengthen competencies. The research method used is a literature review from related journals. Results: The independent learning policy was implemented to accelerate the achievement of national education goals, namely improving the quality of Indonesia's human resources which have superiority and competitiveness compared to other countries. The quality of superior and competitive human resources is realized in students who have noble character and have a high level of reasoning, especially in literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

Character education is education that helps and facilitates students to develop into perfect human beings and human beings. This study aims to determine the strategies and obstacles faced by Islamic religious education teachers in building the disciplinary character of students at SMA N 1 IV Koto. This type of research is the author's. used is field research (field research) which aims to describe, an accurate picture of the facts of the phenomenon that is being stalled. The key informants in this study were students at SMA N 1 IV Koto and PAI teachers, school principals, and colleagues as supporting informants. The results of research conducted at SMA N 1 IV Koto show that the strategies of PAI teachers in shaping the disciplinary character of students at SMA N 1 IV Koto with direct education include: example, advice, training, competition, and habituation. While education indirectly, including: prohibition, correction, supervision and punishment. The obstacles found in the formation of student discipline character are the lack of student interest, lack of understanding of student and family knowledge.

Abstract

The condition of mathematics learning to date is still dominated by teachers as providers of knowledge, resulting in students getting more information from teacher explanations alone, resulting in students' thinking being less developed. The impact of this learning is that mathematics learning outcomes are not optimal. Question Students Have is a strategy that encourages students to dare to ask questions in written form. The aim of this research is to determine the learning outcomes of students taught using the Question Students Have strategy for Class VI students at SDN 11 Koto Salak. The type of research used in this research is experimental research, namely Pre Experimental with a One Group Pre-test and Post-test research design. The sample for this research was 23 Class VI students at SDN 11 Koto Baru, Dharmasraya Regency. The research instruments used in this research were student learning outcomes tests, documentation and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis with the PTK cycle. The research results show an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons seen from the class average score. The value before intervention was 39.78%. The value in cycle I increased to 67.82% and there was another increase in cycle II to 82.40%. Based on these results, it is concluded that the Question Students Have strategy can improve mathematics learning outcomes for class VI students at SDN 11 Koto Salak.
