Jurnal Kajian Manajemen Dakwah is a scientific journal published by Dakwah Management Study Program of State Islamic Institute of Parepare. JKMD focuses on Dakwah issues in Southeast Asia, including Local Culture Dakwah, Dakwah Management, Dakwah for Development, Dakwah for Islamic Moderation, Dakwah Feminism and Contemporary Dakwah. We invite scientists, scholars, researchers, and students to develop their scientific papers and publish their research after the selection process of the manuscript, review, and editing process. JKMD will be published twice a year, the publication period is from January to Juny and from July to December. The Accepted Papers will be available online in open access.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a more detailed picture regarding the causes of multicultural conflict, the positive and negative impacts of religion in the multicultural concept and the forms of synergy between religion and multicultural society in Indonesia. This research will use the literature study method. The collected data will be analyzed using a literature review to identify the main themes and da'wah writing strategies used by Islamic boarding schools in their campaigns. The research results found that multicultural conflict can occur if segmentation arises into groups in society. Religion in multicultural societies can be used in negative and positive ways. Apart from that, the synergy of religion and multicultural society can be realized by reinterpreting orthodox religious doctrines, dialogue and using religion as a mediation suggestion for cultural differences and conflict resolution in society

Abstract

At the present time, the media has a very important role as a fast messenger with a wide range. The more developed the world becomes more modern, the role is expanding. The influence of the media developed after the discovery of radio and television and the last appearance of the internet. Satellites as signal senders now transmit sound and image waves throughout the world, even to remote areas. In relation to religion, in general, the essence of media globality makes religious followers use it to spread the teachings of their religion. Moreover, because in principle that the prophet who receives the revelation has a role in spreading religion, spirituality and guiding humans. At the end, it raises the question that whether new media can be used to spread religious culture, just as media expertise in advertising various products or other things? Religion and Media, if explored further, on the one hand have the same thing in terms of seeking the truth. The difference is that religion claims to have found the truth, while the media does not say that. One of the media disciplines is to check and verify until they find the truth as close as possible, so that the truth is relative. While the truth for religion is absolute. Religion as a world community is a very important part. Especially for people who live in areas with a religious and spiritual population. Apart from the diversity of meanings from the belief in a religion or sect of a religion, but one thing that might be the same is interpreted by adherents of religion that religion is not only a social institution but also as a relationship between humans and their God

Abstract

Divinity faces great challenges because of the diverse challenges and the intensity of changing times that each time raise new questions and studies, and given the diversity of human needs and interests that now tend to be more critical. One of the da’i who has been praising using the existing technology is Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus on his Instagram account. In his account he not only video, but also answers to the problems experienced by his followers so not rarely they interact by leaving a comment on the comment column. The purpose of this research is to learn about the strategy of Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus and its influence on his Instagram account. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand the strategy in depth. The result of this research is to know the performance and also the influence of Ustadzah Halimah Alaydrus.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the challenges of fa’wah institutions and changes in human resources that occur in Palembang. The research method using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through literature study and observation. This research was carried out by looking at the Palembang community environment. The results of the research show that the stage of development of human resources in Palembang community da’wah institutions has experienced significant changes from time to time. This changes is influenced by internal and exterbnal factors, such as changes in organizational policies, socio cultural dynamics and sociental demands. Human resources in da’wah institutions have increased in quality and quantity through various training and development programs organized by these institutions. However, there are still several obstacles that hinder the process of developing human resources, such as limited funds and lack of awareness of the importance of self development. Therefore, further efforts are needed to improve the role and quality of human resources in Palembang community da’wah institutions in order to face increasingly relevant challenges in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the marketing strategy for halal products through social media. This research is a literature study. The collected data will be analyzed using a literature review. The research results show that marketing strategies are directed at increasing the likelihood or frequency of consumer behavior, such as increasing visits to certain stores or purchasing certain products. Effective and efficient product advertising via social media. The importance of the halal label in product advertising can be very significant, especially in the context of markets that have a large Muslim population. The halal label not only reflects compliance with religious principles, but can also be a key factor in building consumer trust and expanding market share for producers.

Abstract

This study explores the role and contribution of Masjid Nurul Ikhsan in the social and religious context of its surrounding community. The aim is to understand the history and role of the mosque through a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study reveals that the mosque plays a crucial role as a center of worship, education, and social activities. The implication is that the mosque needs to adapt and continue developing innovative programs to support the welfare of the community.

Abstract

This research discusses entrepreneurial opportunities for da'wah institutions to support financial independence and strengthen their social role in the community. Dakwah institutions have the potential to run businesses that are not only profit-oriented but also support the mission of dakwah and Islamic values. Using SWOT analysis, this research evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by da'wah institutions in developing sharia-based businesses. The results show that entrepreneurship can be a solution for da'wah institutions to achieve financial sustainability while also having a positive impact on the community. Keywords: Da'wah institutions, entrepreneurship, SWOT analysis, financial independence.

Abstract

This research analyzes the application of digital da'wah communication in the Ciputat community, which has become increasingly relevant in the era of information technology. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was used through observations and interviews with religious figures and community members actively involved in digital da'wah. The results show that social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp have become the main media for delivering sermons and religious information. Community participation, especially among the youth, in religious discussions through social media has increased. However, challenges such as a lack of digital literacy and the potential spread of inaccurate information were also identified. Therefore, improving digital literacy and monitoring da'wah content is essential.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges and opportunities faced by Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) in managing human resources (HR) in the rapidly evolving digital era. The main focus is to analyze HR adaptation strategies that align with technological advancements while upholding the Sharia principles that form the foundation of BMT’s operations. Utilizing a qualitative method and a literature review approach, the study synthesizes findings from various relevant sources and previous research. The analysis reveals that digitalization within BMT requires not only adequate technological infrastructure but also an improvement in digital competencies among all levels of human resources, from operational staff to management. Furthermore, the digital transformation calls for a shift in work culture toward a more adaptive, collaborative, and technology-oriented approach. These findings imply that BMT must actively integrate information technology into its work systems, conduct regular training focused on digital competencies within a Sharia framework, and build a work ecosystem that encourages innovation while remaining grounded in Islamic values. Such strategic efforts are essential to ensure that BMT remains competitive, relevant, and capable of sustainably meeting community needs amid ongoing change.

Abstract

This research examines the strategy of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) Kube Sejahtera 007 in developing financing for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Bengkulu. MSMEs have a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges in accessing financing. BMT Kube Sejahtera, as a sharia financial institution, is committed to empowering MSMEs through financing products and mentoring programs. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The research results show that BMT Kube Sejahtera has a positive reputation, easy access, and an effective mentoring program in improving the managerial skills of MSME players. However, weaknesses such as limited resources and lack of product diversification were also identified. Opportunities for growth in the MSME sector and the potential for collaboration with other institutions are in the spotlight, while threats come from competition and policy changes. This research recommends the need for innovation in products and increased resources to face future challenges, so that BMT Kube Sejahtera can continue to contribute to the development of MSMEs and local economic growth.
