Jurnal Manajemen Sistem Informasi merupakan Jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh UNIVERSITAS DINAMIKA BANGSA. Jurnal MSI Menerbitkan Jurnal 4 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Maret, Juni, September dan Desember. Misi dari Jurnal Manajemen Sistem Informasi adalah untuk menyebarluaskan, mengembangkan dan menfasilitasi hasil penelitian mengenai Ilmu Sistem Informasi dan juga dapat menjadi wadah bagi para dosen, guru, peneliti dan para praktisi dalam bidang teknologi informasi dari seluruh Indonesia, dalam melakukan pertukaran informasi tentang hasil-hasil penelitian terbaru yang telah dilakukan. <![CDATA[Every organization or plan needs to create an information system in order to support all activities so that the information generated can be carried out quickly and accurately. One of the information needed is information about the budget owned by an organization or authority. The issue of budget extraction in every expenditure, government expenditure becomes an important factor to stimulate a budget that adheres to the principles of budget savings, efficient and effective. The Jambi Provincial Education Office is a Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) within the Jambi Provincial Government Environment which is responsible for education by the Governor through the Jambi Provincial Regional Secretary. Therefore the Thesis Report with the title "Analysis and Design of Budget Management Information Systems at the Jambi Provincial Education Office". The purpose of this thesis discussion is in the preparation and reporting of budgets that contain the principles needed between approval and accountability of other budgets, budget coordination, budgetary budgets, budget efficiency and budgets. When carrying out a complicated budget preparation and reporting process, it turns out that in its application the system uses manuals and there is no system that is integrated with the process of making and making budget reports to be better and supporting activities and cost plans that are not in accordance with predetermined targets.]]>

<![CDATA[In the data processing process of product distribution at PT. Rudi Agralaksana, still using conventional and not maximal methods in product data processing, data processing of product transportation, daily distribution data processing, monthly distribution data processing, which still occur errors and missing or damaged data reports. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of the distribution information system of PT. Rudi Agralaksana and designing web-based product distribution information prototype at PT. Rudi Agralaksana using UML (Unified Modeling Language). And as for the results of this study, distribution information system that is able to help staff in processing product data,transport products and distribution reports more easily and integrated with each other.information system is displayed in the form of production reports, product reports, reports transportation, distribution and information reports for agents as consumers of PT. Rudi Agung Agralaksana. So that it is expected to be implemented in managing distribution data at PT. Rudi Agung Agralaksana and it can fix the problem in the system before. The suggestion in this research is that the design of this system needs to be developed so that it can be applied to PT. Rudi Agung Agralaksana, and it can contribute to the development of science and technology in the information systems.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is aimed to decide major for students of SMK Swasta Pelita Raya Jambi. The interest of major is implemented when students are in the tenth grade and will move to eleventh grade. The process of major determination will be occurred repeatedly every year. This research will conduct Clustering by using the data of students of SMK Swasta Pelita Raya Jambi and utilize the science of mining data, Algorithm K-Means Clustering. Algorithm K-Means Clustering in this research is limited applying with using the mining tools data, Rapid Miner Studio. Clustering is the group of record, observation, or case in the similar object classes. The result of algorithm K-Means Means in this research produces a solution or a reference for dividing apprenticeship place that is suitable for interest and talent of students in the eleventh grade of Multimedia and Accounting.]]>

<![CDATA[In the research conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Jambi City, namely analyzing the current system, researchers found problems related to the birth certificate submission process there are several problems with the current system, the process of filing a birth certificate that runs on the Department of Population and Civil Registration Jambi City is still manual, meaning that people who want to submit a birth certificate application must be known by the Rukun Tetangga (RT) and the Kelurahan, after which the applicant submits the file to the Jambi City Population and Civil Registration Officer. Then it needs a system that can solve weaknesses or problems that occur. The researcher tried to make alternative problem solving in overcoming the weaknesses of the Birth Certificate Administration Information System that made it easier for the community in the process of submitting a birth certificate. This research uses UML (Modeling Language) Language modeling.]]>

<![CDATA[Office of Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Jambi has problems relating to staffing, which led to employee difficulties to find information and access to information related to staffing, as well as the operators often lost files relating employment due to frequent data redundancy, the data are inconsistent (inconsistent data), data stored irregularly , the data is less secure, because data is only stored on one computer only (standalone). The objectives to be achieved in this research are to analyze the system requirements and design a Web-Based Personnel Information System to produce prototype documentation of the Personnel Information System. The process of the analysis and design of systems using modeling system based on the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while designing the prototype using tools balsamiq mockups. The expected outcome of this research is to become a reference for solving problems related to staffing at the Komisi Pemilihan Umum Kota Jambi.]]>

<![CDATA[The process of inventory at the Local Government Finance Office of Jambi Province still uses Microsoft Excel and inventory books, resulting in a slow process of reporting inventory items. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based inventory information system in accordance with the needs of the Local Government Finance Office of Jambi Province, with the inventory website of the Local Government Finance Office of Jambi Province can be easier in terms of inventory information. Designing a Web-Based Goods Inventory System at the Local Government Finance Office of Jambi Province uses object-based modeling techniques to illustrate system analysis and design, namely in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The output of this research is in the form of a prototype design of the Analysis System and the Design of a Web-Based Inventory System at the Local Government Finance Office of Jambi Province. Suggestions for further research in order to complement the management of other data, such as requests for item, lost item reports and data security.]]>

<![CDATA[Research at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of East Jambi Sub-district engaged in the field of Religion was conducted to analyze weaknesses the running system, in order to overcome the problems that existed at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of East Jambi District. In the process of data collection at the Office of Religious Affairs at this time, such as marriage registration or data on marriage requests, handwriting is still carried out by officers. Errors in writing that require officers to make repeated data changes and require a long recording process. The absence of an appropriate data storage area, causing data search and report generation to be delayed. Based on the above problems, the author tries to design a prototype system that is expected to help employees to manage the data needed at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of East Jambi District and can provide good service to the community. The research method used in this study is field research, They are observation, interviews, and library research. System design is also done using DFD (Data Flow Diagram), ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), and data dictionary (Data Dictionary). The results of the study show that there are several weaknesses of the system that is running, which there is no appropriate data storage area causing data searches and report generation to be delayed due to data that cannot be found.]]>

<![CDATA[BAPPEDA has the task of assisting the Governor in carrying out some regional government affairs in thearea of regional development planning based on the applicable laws and regulations. a) The JambiProvincial Regional Development Planning Agency carries out functions: formulating technical policiesfor regional development planning; b) coordinating the preparation of regional development planning; c)fostering the implementation of tasks in the area of regional development planning; d) implementation ofregional development control and evaluation; and e) other functions performed by the Governor inaccordance with their duties and functions. In carrying out its functions, BAPPEDA is inseparable fromthe problems, namely a) Inconsistent planning and budgeting, among planning documents such as theabsence of programs in the Jambi Provincial Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD). b) Does notmatch program name in Jambi Province RPJMD. c) There are no activities in the Strategic Plan(RENSTRA). d) Does not match the target activities that have been set in the Strategic Plan. From theseproblems the writer tries to design a budget management information system using the Unified ModelingLanguage (UML) system modeling and the results are in the form of a prototype system design. Thisresearch resulted in a prototype of the Budget Management Information System design at BadanPerencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) Jambi Provincial. With the design of the BudgetManagement Information System it is expected to be the basis for solving problems that occur at BadanPerencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) Jambi Provincial. In this research, it is expected thatBAPPEDA can measure the realization of outputs of activities against planned plans and can monitor theachievement of activity outputs.]]>

<![CDATA[Education has a very important role in people's lives, but the huge cost of education is an obstacle formany people to be able to continue their education. The government provides educational assistancethrough the assistance of one student's scholarship. Therefore it is necessary to build a Decision SupportSystem (SPK) to solve the problem. In determining the acceptance of scholarships, there are many criteriathat must be owned by individuals as a condition in getting a scholarship. Each school must have criteriato determine who will be selected to receive a scholarship. Distribution of scholarships is done by severalinstitutions to help someone who is less capable or achievers during their studies. To help determine whois eligible to receive a scholarship, a decision support system is needed. In this study, a case will beraised, namely finding the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the SAW (SimpleAdditive Weighting) method. The study was conducted by finding the weight value for each attribute,then the ranking process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative, namely the beststudents.]]>

As well as the delivery of information relating to natural disasters is notmaximized, to address this issue pelu built an information system data processing of natural disasters thatwill make it easier to manage data BPBDs disasters and provide information directly to the public.
