Abstract

Perkebunan Nusantara VI has a sub-section, namely SBU Teh Packaging which has the task of handling the recording of inventory data, purchases of goods, requests for operational activities for all parts, to reporting and the number of requests each month. The problem that occurs is that inventory data processing is still done manually, using Microsoft Excel. This causes the control of goods data to be disorganized, resulting in frequent duplication of goods names. Even in making reports, the warehouse officer takes a long time and the results obtained are not accurate. Based on the problems faced, a web-based inventory control information system is needed that can assist the process of managing and monitoring inventory stock-taking data. The purpose of this research is to design a prototype of a web-based inventory control information system using a system modeling tool, namely UML. The result of this research is a prototype design of a web-based inventory control information system that can be applied by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VI, especially SBU Teh Packaging to help expedite the management and monitoring of inventory stock taking data.

Abstract

Adiwangsa University Jambi is one of the private educational institutions, wherein running its business is pursuing the role of information technology, such as final project guidance activities which are currently still carried out conventionally, namely face-to-face. This often causes problems, especially during the pandemic which has quite an impact on graduation or guidance. To overcome the existing problems, the author proposes the design of a web-based final project guidance information system in the form of a prototype that can be implemented in the future so that it can be a solution. The tools used in modeling this system are use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of this study are in the form of a web-based final project guidance information system prototype that can help smooth the course of final project guidance activities at Adiwangsa University Jambi.

Abstract

Bank BTPN is one of the private conventional banks in Indonesia. In carrying out business processes, Bank BTPN has developed the Jenius mobile banking application system where the application can make it easier for Bank BTPN customers to conduct financial transactions. However, in the development of the application, there are still many shortcomings and the level of doubt for Bank BTPN customers to use the application is still high. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the level of trust of Bank BTPN customers in using the application. In this study, behavioral analysis theory was used, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory which was assisted by the Smart PLS application for the analysis process. The results of this study consist of 4 variables including Complexity Of Use, Perceived Usefullness, Perceived Of Use and Intention To Use. The results of the study explain that customers are quite good at accepting the Jenius mobile banking application and the level of customers to continue using the application is also good. The results of the research can be used as a reference to continue developing the Jenius mobile banking application to be even better. It is hoped that in the future similar research can be carried out to find out the potential for the development of the Jenius mobile banking application.

Abstract

The Ladang Peris Village Office, Bajubang District, has not used the computerized system and complaint process used by the village office by taking notes. In delivering information to the community, the Ladang Peris Village Office, Bajubang District, still uses the information board placed in the village office. In addition, to serve public complaints, the Ladang Peris Village office uses the complaint counter to be submitted directly to village officials regarding the village agenda, rural development plans, information on damaged roads, disaster-prone locations. In addition, there is no media to introduce rural tourism to outsiders, and there is no media information regarding fundraising from donors. The existing constraints cause the performance of village officials at the Ladang Peris Village Office to be relatively long, the information that should be conveyed to the community is not channeled properly and makes it difficult for the community to make complaints, it is necessary to use website technology to support the reporting process that can be used by village officials and the community in Peris Farm Village, Bajubang District. The application of technology, especially the public complaint information system, will facilitate the device by reducing limitations in providing services to the community

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Nurussa'adah Sarolangun has a need for IS/IT to be able to adapt to the existing environment. There is no integrated information system development plan so information system development is only based on current needs without considering further development. Based on the existing problems, the author proposes strategic planning of information systems with the Ward and Peppard method where this method emphasizes the analysis on increasing competitiveness and threats. The analysis is carried out using various tools critical success factor, value chain, SWOT, McFarlan Strategic Grid, and five forces. The results of this study are a strategic planning of information systems in the form of a portfolio of future applications that can support business processes, IS/IT management strategies which can help Madrasah Aliyah Nurussa'adah Sarolangun to increase competitiveness, optimize human resources, and utilize information systems and technology. future information for Madrasah Aliyah Nurussa'adah Sarolangun.

Abstract

The process of managing student financial administration at ABC Elementary School is currently still manual, that is, it still uses books and is not well computerized. This resulted in problems, namely the administrative process took a long time and all parties could not get financial information quickly and accurately. This study aims to analyze and design a student financial administration information system which is expected to make it easier for all parties in the administrative management process. The method used in this research is prototype. Design tools using UML (Unified Modeling Language) and Adobe XD. This system provides services in the form of a menu login, register, upload transactions, manage transactions and print transactions. It is hoped that the design of this information system can be developed so that it becomes an application that can be used and applied to ABC Elementary School and for further research it can design an overall system that is integrated with other Information Systems that summarizes all business processes in school.

Abstract

AJB Bumiputera 1912 Telanaipura Jambi Branch Office is an insurance company that provides services to the community. In the current system, the claim submission service process is still done manually, that is, submitting claims can only be processed if the agent and customer have a meeting and the customer completes a claim submission form. This causes the length of the claim submission process and the services provided do not run optimally. Based on the existing problems, a claim submission service system is needed in order to assist AJB Bumiputera 1912 Telanaipura Jambi Branch Office in terms of claim submission services. The purpose of this research is to design a prototype of the claim submission service system using the system modeling tool, namely UML and the diagrams used include use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The results of this research are in the form of designing a prototype claim submission service system that can be implemented by AJB Bumiputera 1912 Telanaipura Jambi Branch Office to help facilitate the management of information on life insurance claims submissions.

Abstract

Employee of The Month is a program for best employee selection based on HSE criteria on PCJL – Jambi, most of the process performed manually which spending a lot of time to complete. Author conducted research as an effort to solve the problem by analyzing and designing a prototype of Decision Support System (DSS) utilized Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Expected, by the design of this system will be a useful solution for the process and shorten the implementation time of the program.

Abstract

Leave is one of the employee rights that must be given by a company. Issues regarding the licensing and leave of civil servants have been regulated in Law Number 11 of 2017 about management of civil servants. The process of applying leave at Jambi University is currently still done manually, checking the remaining leave, filing the form, approval and leave reports still rely on paper leave archives. The manual leave management process has several weaknesses. Employees cannot find out the remaining personal leave entitlements and another weakness is that the leave application process is less effective and efficient. The purpose of this research is to improve the deficiencies that exist in the current system and to simplify and speed up the employee leave management. In designing this prototype, the authors use a modeling tool in the form of Unified Modeling Language (UML) with Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams.

Abstract

Management of human resources is something that needs to be considered in a university, because the management of human resources is included in the management of higher education. Information systems are really needed in managing at a Muhammadiyah University, information systems must also be in accordance with existing management at Muhammadiyah University and in management there are general principles that include planning, organizing, mobilizing and ensuring. using modeling UML (Unified Modeling Language) with the following steps: Determining Initial Planning, Analyzing Information Systems Currently Used, Modeling Information Systems Using UML Modeling (Unified Modeling Language). At this stage, create a model of information system requirements with Use Cases, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams and Build Information System Prototypes. The results of this information system design are to assist HR management in collecting employee data and also to facilitate the process of applicants becoming employees at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi. With this information system, it is also easy to find information about employee recruitment and employee development. This research resulted in a design made using object-oriented methods with UML, which resulted in a prototype of an HR management information system, especially employee recruitment at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi
